I have seen countless times in versus/ranking threads that Kabuto's edo's don't count. BUT THEY DO. I find it incredibly annoying personally to constantly reiterate that. So let me explain here once and for all (although people will still do it, so I'm actually just hoping that this makes some of you realize the truth).
Basically I have seen three arguments as to why his edos don't count. They are:
A. Most of his edos are already sealed, so they don't count anymore.
B. The Edos are not a part of his power (the one I see more often) and
C. In a battle he can't have them because he has to prepare them, and he can't do that in the middle of a battle (this one I see after I prove people wrong about the second one).
So let me explain why his edos count now!
A. This obviously doesn't count. In all versus/ranking threads, you should always take a ninja at their most powerful/what their most powerful is theoretically supposed to be. Minato, currently, is dead. He can't fight anyone. That doesn't mean that people don't include him in versus threads and or rankings based on when he's alive. I've never seen anyone say "Well Minato loses because he's dead already", or (when Sasuke was almost blind from MS) "Sasuke loses because he can hardly see anymore". So you can't say "Kabuto loses because most of his edos are already sealed".
B. This argument is just bull. Edo Tensei is a ninjutsu. It's like a regular summoning (like Jiraya's toads) mixed with a puppet. They are just really powerful. If they were just joining the fight, it wouldn't count. But Kabuto found the bodies, sacrificed another so as to reanimate them, and then used his jutsu to control them. He summons them, and they are his puppets. Simple as that. In no thread has anyone ever discounted the use of puppets nor summonings, so this should be no different. As a result, they count, whether you like it or not.
C. This argument also doesn't count. Basically here's the idea. Preparation is key, right? Ninja's are always prepared. They are always prepared for the UNKNOWN, right? You always see ninja carrying around shurigan and kunai, right? Minato is never without his special Kunai, right? Gaara is never without his special sand, right? Kankuro is never without access to his puppets, right? Tsunade is never without her chakra reserve on her forehead, right? These ninja are ALWAYS prepared for a random battle, WHEREVER IT MAY BE. I'm not talking about Konan creating a endless pit of exploding tags, because she knew exactly where and against whom that battle would be. No I'm talking about random battles. A ninja prepares ahead of time for any battle. They have them there already with them in the battle field. The simple fact that they are allowed any tools or summons means that Kabuto is allowed his edos! No one ever says "well Jiraya isn't allowed his toad summons, because first he has to sign the contract", or "Sasori isn't allowed his human puppets because first he has to make them". So then Kabuto is allowed his edos. END OF STORY.
