It depends... i would say they both die.
1. they werent fighting to kill him so im pretty sure amaturasu/totsuka would take care of him if not another move he has
2. when kabuto is dead an edo might kill itachi/ that depends if the edo still carries out kabutos will
3. all itachi has to do is focus on killing/sealing kabuto first and its not much of a match

Why would Sasuke be a handicap? How many times would Itachi have been killed if he wasn't an edo tensei?

None of Itachi's MS techniques would work on Kabuto and he would have been finished with that genjutsu used by Kabuto.

thats just unfair itachi is having a hard time already edo nagato would probably beat itachi 1 on 1 its hard to say in my eyes they might be = but madera is like the strongest one right now so kobuto will win without edo i think itachi

Itachi sure is being reckless.
He let himself being cut and pierced several times.
And in the end he said it wouldn't be of use piercing him as long as he has the "body regeneration".

Itachi could use izanami and then seal kabuto. (Without edo).

But if Kabuto uses edo it will no longer be Kabuto vs Itachi...
