I don't know about Kabuto being a zombie, but I just don't buy the fact that we've seen the last of Orochimaru. I mean. I try not to let my inner Orochimaru fanboy cloud my judgement about this opinion, but nothing seems to be as it seems until "it" is revealed in the Naruto story. And with that said, we shall see ...
I agree 100 %. On another note, I'm just curious about this the conversation in page 2 of chapter 560 ("Uchiha Madara"). Here, we can see that Madara seems aware of a particular plan (which he implies is not going well, hence he was brought back through edo tensei). But what I find interesting is when he said (if the translation was done correctly) that "this is
his doing...he definitely has something in mind..." And later, Kabuto introduced himself (speaking through Muu) to Madara as
his assistant". Of course, we know that he was referring to his Orochimaru.
Perhaps Madara may not know who Orochimaru is (since he wanted to know who was behind the impure world technique), but it seems to me that he is aware of a bigger plan that foresees him coming back from the grave. And I have a feeling that Orochimaru is still in the plan, which means that he may be back in the scene sooner or later.
