Kabuto's sadness is danzo's him and sasuke had a common reason for being sad kabuto was right when he said this. I hope sasuke doesn't listen to kabuto and stay's evil but I think after this battle sasuke will remain evil so this might happen

Itachi is acting foolish here imo. Rather than announcing his techs(first it was 'ok Sasuke i'm going to use tsukoyomi and pawn him'. Then when that did'nt work he says 'ok Sasuke i'm going to use Izanami, its prepared'. He should focus on making Kabuto lose his focus, taunting him about him being a failure/ weak is NOT going to work. No one should ever under estimate their opponent.

If Itachi had acknowledged Kabuto and the fact that he had advanced quite far, IMO Kabuto would have let his guard down and this fight would have been over. e.g: like when Kankuro acknowledges Sasori he turns to dust as he feels satisfied by what he is, does'nt feel like he has anything left to prove and therefore is no longer motivated to fight. Here Itachi is motivating Kabuto to fight harder so he can disprove his taunts/ accusations of being a failure.

OK, while on the last page I still say that's just snake spit, on the page before that (top left panel), he does appear to be crying. Strange.
