A. Amaterasu'd his head from the start because he wasn't in Sage Mode, and Sasuke has ample experience with Oral Rebirth and knows he must spawn from the mouth, or
B. Cut off his head instead of his horn.

DSM Kabuto is strong, but he had a worst match up, he has weaknesses against those two Uchihas. No chance, someone else yes he will beat him, but not Sasuke and Itachi.

Kabuto's Abilities countered everything they had though
Amaterasu: Skin Shedding, superior speed
Susanoo: Sound Genjutsu
Tsukuyomi/Genjutsu: Vision Impaired

Kabuto could have also summoned his Edo Tenseis. And he also had great Healing Abilities

PS? Thats just a larger version of susanoo, sound genjutsu still affects it. And you underestimate the Edo Tenseis Kabuto has, a lot of them can avoid Totsuka easily. Kabuto Vs Sasuke? Kabuto definitley will gain the upper hand

He didnt want to re-write the Edo Tensei on Itachi and He didn't want to have and use Sasuke on his side. Just Saying.

Kabuto could have won had it not been for plot. Kabuto's main involvement in the war was just to get Sasuke yet he had Sasuke right there so why didn't he just end Edo Tensei right then and there which would take Itachi out under a minute. Kabuto already shown to have jutsus that would take Sasuke down such as white noise, muken tensei, or his sound Genjutsu which are things Itachi had to protect Sasuke from. Kabuto can also use his medical ninjutsu to knock Sasuke out as he did to Kiba in part one; Medical ninjutsu can also kill as shown when Tsunade was going to kill Orochimaru with hers in part 1 before Kabuto stopped her.

I find it plot that Sasuke and Itachi could move their heads when Shikamaru couldn't move a muscle at all when Tayuya used it on him and he had to use his shadow to break his finger. Kabuto's sound Genjutsu would in fact be stronger than hers due to his Senjutsu increasing the power yet they can move their heads and talk.

Last but not least, Izanami was a big plot to me. How are the Uchihas going to create a Genjutsu to rival Izanagi which requires both Senju and Uchiha DNA? If it's going to be a pair then have them both be usable with the same requirements just like MS jutsus require you to have a MS. Obito could have easily have gave a reference to it when he talked about Izanagi during Sasuke vs Danzo and/or when he told Konan about Izanagi; he went into great detail about Izanagi afterall.
