Do you not read the manga? Itachi only broke free because Naruto was there. If he wasn't then Itachi would've stayed a little puppet. And OP already proved Kabuto could've wiped Madara's mind at any time if wanted but then he'd be weaker. Plus Kabuto wanted to see what he was truly capable of. Under the right settings, no one can escape Edo Tensei.

the way i see it,i think there was an agreement between madara and kabuto kus he didnt even have to look over him throughout the war buh he was still binded by edo tensei and definitely had to breakout of the controll after kabuto was trapped in IZANAMI(wich i tink is realy an awesome technique).....edo tensei is a ressurection technique or reamination(whatever you wanna call it),so d body ressurected is under the controll of the ressurector...madara onli BROKE THE CONTROLL not ESCAPE EDO TENSEI

wen kabuto 1st summoned madara the EDO's wer not active as u can c in the pic that no other akatsuki had their eyes open ol wer still not revived so madara couldnt have freed himself

This is a lil bit random yeah, but I was thinking that; why cant the Juubi be stopped by Killer Bee and Naruto? I mean Killer Bee has Samehada which is able to suck chakra out of the Juubi and put him in a very weak state. However Kishi has chosen to waste our time and elongate the story for no reason.

Very detailed postulate. I like how you found facts to support your claim about the 2 different talismans. It makes sense since if there was only 1, the second Hokage would have broken out of it too just like Madara since he also knew how the reanimation jutsu worked. XD its kinda funny to think that its kind of itachi and sasuke's fault for how Madara has turned out in these latest chapters.lol
On the side note though, i would still like to see more of Kabuto's sage mode in action. Im pretty sure we will be seeing more of him in the future. XD

30 people said this and i need everyone to pull it up for me..where dose it state that when using edo tensi that kabuto left there minds in tact because he could not use them to their fullest..he stated when Obito/Tobi forced him to prove a living body was required to use edo tensi do you remeber what he said..a fix portion of the one you want to summed but they must be in the pure world meaning those who was seal in the reaper death god cant be revived..then he also stated that when brought back they regain everything they had up till there deaths and placing the tags in there heads he could control them to his own will...meaning Madara,Itachi,Nagato..all had there moves again...heck he had nagato use planetary destruction when he took control himself..leaving some of the edo's mind in tact help him out with the war i mean come on the past Kages why take control of them..itachi,nagato,madara rare bloodline limits why not let them utilize it by them self's and besides he couldn't control them all at once hint...he was taking oro power to make the binds in the tags stronger... sorry for spelling mistake at work in a rush...
