Naruto made the rasengans for the k11. In Minatos case, Naruto specifically asked that "the other Kurama should help too" if minato cannot use tbb then how would he be able to help. We don't know his actual time limit, we've seen Naruto release his sage mode before, we don't know the exact time Minatos lasted from just looking and manga pages. Minatos sm is still a very useful asset to his arsenal, I don't know why people can't see that, if he comes up against an opponent strong enough to push him that far then he'll use it, simple as.

So when Obito - who not only strapped explosives to his newly born son, but also kidnapped his wife and set the strongest Biju in the business on the village he was supposed to protect wasn't strong enough to push him to the limit? When the fight was "all about speed" (Minato's own words) Minato never thought Sage Mode's enhanced speed would help? Or is it that he couldn't maintain it, like shown.

I know what most logical people would assume, unless you're trying to tell me that Minato's friends and family weren't worth the effort.
