As stated both Kabuto and Obito had the hardest lives in my opinion and here's why.

Part 2 about Obito is here:

This is the first part, about Kabuto.

PS: A fitting youtube song video is included at the end of the post for those who wish to listen to it while reading.

Kabuto Yakushi

Kabuto's first memory was walking in the rain alone as a frightened child. He had no memory of his identity, his family, or his home. He was cold and slept in the mud, waiting to die.

He was then found and taken back to an orphanage where he was accepted as family and taken care of. He only spent 3 years in that orphanage; only 3 years in his entire life did he know what love and family was.

Danzo then came to the orphanage to recruit a child and Kabuto's mother with threats. Kabuto volunteered for the sake of the orphanage. For many years later he acted as a spy, not having any true friends or identity. Later he was attacked and defended himself by killing the assassin.

It was then revealed that the assassin was none other than his own foster mother, who took him in and cared for him. The only person Kabuto ever called mother. Kabuto later finds out that he was tricked and that an imposter has took his own life as a way to convince his own mother to kill the real Kabuto.

His life and his family has been taken away from him, and he was still juts a child. From then on he was raised by Orochimaru, a infamous man who we all should know is not a good role model.

Kabuto had no true guidance, and witnessed the cruelest of horrors and committed the worst of deeds. He was a lost soul taken advantage of, never knowing compassion, love, friendship ever again in his life. He was just a child when it all started.....his whole life was a lie.

Can you just imagine knowing you killed your own mother because you were tricked at such a young age, that your life is being lived by an imposter?

Can you live a life without friends, love, people that care about you? Can you live without having an identity of your own or a path of your own choosing? Kabuto was hated all his life for only doing his duties and he was betrayed for being loyal.

Obito really didn't have a bad life, he was friend zoned and his little b*tch ass couldn't man up to accept that. Kabuto did have a bad life, he was rejected, forgotten and abandoned. Living without a purpose. But Obito? Please, Obito has the worst excuse to be a villain ever. Gaara had a much worse life than Obito, and he still came out ok.

Yes the pain Lord Kabuto had to face was overwhelming but he was able to get through it all because he is Kabuto. Repss

Yeah kabuto backstory was kinda sad, Obito's on the other hand isn't sad at all, he lost one team mate which most ninja would consider pretty damn lucky.

The problem is that there really isn't a 'saddest' childhood. Each villain has a personal theme in his or her life that is recognizable for the reader. For example, people who always had trouble finding out who they are or couldn't accept themselves.. can sympathize with Kabuto. The ones who kept hope, but were let down by a big tragedy in their lives (losing your mother to a disease, a friend being hit by a car) will perhaps see a part of themselves in Obito...

Still, props for doing a great job with Kabuto's backstory.

Well Obitos just butthurt, I mean his suffering is for the most part self imposed. Kabutos is understandable, I mean being in a war zone and a field of hundreds of dead shinobi can f*ck someone's life.
