Team 2 wins this comfortably. There's no possible combination that team 1 can pull off to put team 2 in danger.
- Kabuto's hiding like a mole gets nullyfied by the fact that neji has byakugan to see him, and Kakashi has clones to jam on the magnetic sensing that hiding like a mole has.
- Asuma's wind style gets countered by Neji's air palm or Kakashi covers him and neji with doton wall. Asuma's explosive ash technique gets blown away with neji's air palm too.
- CQC department goes to Kakashi and Neji. Kabuto's basic snake jutsus would get countered by Kakashi's raikiri and Neji's rotation. Asuma's hien gets countered by rotation too in the case of Neji, and in the case of Kakashi it gets dodged or parried with a lightining enhaced weapon and then dodge it, or simply with a clone feint.

Kakashi and Neji could win via Kakashi using hiding like a mole and make a lightining clone below the ground, then comes up and parallyzes either Kabuto or Asuma, which would get killed later on.. then they both gang bang the remaining one.

I hate to say this, but Asuma literally drags Kabuto to hell here. He can't face off against either ninja on the opposing team...and Kabuto protecting him will only get them both killed. Neji bodies Asuma and then goes to assist Kakashi (not that he will need it). Team wins in a low difficulty fight.

I was actually going to say that. I don't recall Kabuto having any outstanding feats that let him take down Neji (unless this version can summon Manda II), and Neji can easily fight two opponents at once in CQC. Especially when one is Asuma who has nothing to even make Neji sweat.

That was basically what I was thinking. Asuma is almost a non-factor for Neji based on feats and I'm not sure what kind of speed feats this Kabuto has. So it's basically Neji v Kabuto.

I'd like you to say the words, "Asuma is better at CQC than Gai" for me, please. Make that exact statement.

Using retconned and inapplicable feats from Part 1 is nonsense. Call it what you like, but Kisame obviously underwent a massive change in power from Part 1 to Part 2. He's capable of fighting B in CQC who MS Sasuke was getting merked by. So, if we follow your logic by extension, Asuma is stronger than MS Sasuke in CQC (absolute nonsense).

What chapter is the Neji/Zetsu thing pulled from? I'd like to read the context.

Kisame's fight with Bee is completely different, because his style feeds off of that. That fight does not highlight Kisame's own base CQC skills. Samehada was parrying Bee in their CQC encounter. Samehada was the size of a car against Bee, with a mind of its own. That's some crappy A>B>C logic right there.

And that doesn't change the fact that Kisame was reacting, countering, and dodging Bee's movements which Sasuke couldn't even READ with Sharingan. Kisame's maneuver to avoid the Raiton pencil is a better speed feat than Asuma has shown in the entire manga. Asuma gets merked by Kisame, end of story. And that doesn't change the fact that Kisame was reacting, countering, and dodging Bee's movements which Sasuke couldn't even READ with Sharingan. Dawg, I do not care. You asked for feats, part 1 or not part 1 Kisame was an S ranked Akatsuki member, there are his feats against him.
