"Regardless of the path I decide to take, the choice of what to do is mine and mine alone"

Name: Kōtetsu
Title: The King of Beasts, Champion of Humanity
Gender: Male
Age: 27
Clan: Inuzuka
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral

Appearance

Following his subsequent deaths during his incursion of the underworld at the hands of both the Burial King Falnir and the Voidlord Phetra, Kōtetsu underwent rigorous physical conditioning to ensure he would no longer fall in battle. Gone is his regal yet mysterious aura that captivated and bewitched those he met, and in its place is a domineering presence that intimidates and strikes fear into those in his vicinity. Standing at six feet, three inches tall, he has become a huge, muscular man with tan skin and canine-like features befitting one of the Inuzuka clan, whose crimson fang tattoos he bears proudly on his cheeks. Coupled with his long, wild unkempt black hair and fang-like teeth, his crimson eyes give off a sharp and intense gaze. His nails, akin to razors in sharpness, protrude slightly beyond his fingertips, and etched into the back of his right hand is a black tribal tattoo of a wolf's head, the seal in which his relic weapon is stored.

Kōtetsu's clothing is intertwined with a scientific ninja tool known as Requip that affords him the ability to change his attire to fit whatever environment he finds himself in. His regular attire, masterly woven from the pelt and bones of the Guardian of the Forest who was driven mad by the Red Fever, consists of a silver fur pelt draped over his shoulders that held in place by ivory bones and a gold-trimmed white armor on his right shoulder. His forearms and shins are also covered by fur and bones fashioned to form bracers, and around his waist, he wears a ragged khaki-colored skirt with a thick silver fur waistline and another piece of gold-trimmed white armor.

Personality

Kōtetsu's perception of others was already skewed during childhood when he came to realize just how far others would go to further themselves. The constant corruption, numerous betrayals, and incompetent leadership he witnessed in Freehold before the Razing of Chungsu resulted in a severe lack of trust in those not of his clan, and somewhat unwarranted hostility towards strangers. As the current leader of the Inuzuka clan, he is incredibly proud and pursues strength above all else. The strength to protect his people. The strength to protect their way of life. The strength to do whatever it takes to ensure their survival. However, since his return from Irkalla, this thirst for strength has turned into something of an obsession. After being brought back to life the aggressive nature of his bloodline that he'd managed to suppress has intensified, but he's managed to retain his protective spirit and compassion for the forest and its inhabitants. A defining trait Kōtetsu possesses is his ability, partially attained from using his enhanced senses to identify slight changes in people, to perceive even the most subtle ill will a person harbors towards him, even upon first meeting them, and acts accordingly from that point on.

Devastating Speed (Primary & Apex)

Contrary to what one might expect due to his muscular build, Kōtetsu's speed is also equally impressive due to his physical conditioning. Done to augment his physical-centric style of fighting and ensure he'd be able to somewhat keep up with his ninken when using their collaboration techniques, his base speed has increased by a staggering four levels as a result.

Tracking Specialty (Advanced)

As a hunter and inhabitant of the deep forests of Zhouhua, Kōtetsu's already higher than normal tracking capabilities due to his heightened senses of smell and hearing are further increased by an additional x2, allowing him to effortlessly perceive animals, objects, and people that move at tremendous speeds.

Inuzuka Mastery Specialty (Extra)

With their fates intertwined, Kōtetsu and his ninken are practically inseparable. Together they have developed the Inuzuka clan's unique collaboration and ninken techniques almost to their absolute peak. Intent on reaching the pinnacle of his bloodline's ability, the King of Beasts has devoted his entire being to attain mastery, a status reserved for a select few.

Demon God's Fist Specialty (CFS)

Kōtetsu is the last practitioner of a unique fighting style from the territory once known as the Land of Fangs. Requiring the robust nature of the earth to regularly flow through his limbs, Demon God's Fist allows him to combat most weapons with his bare hands. His regular use of the style in battle has resulted in his hands becoming slightly abrasive, allowing his attacks to cut into his target's skin.

Background Information

Born deep within Zhouhua’s forest region in the year 787, Kōtetsu’s cries echoed throughout the ancestral homeland of his people. His parents Sýr Inuzuka, the current head of the Inuzuka Clan, and Izuri Inuzuki, a warrior who originally hailed from the Badlands Of Earth, already feared for the future their child would have to face. You see, over 200 years before Kōtetsu’s birth the Inuzuka clan had split into two factions. The first faction consisted of the clan members who dwelled in Zhouhua, while the other faction had left the forest and found a place for themselves in The Freehold of Hanguri. This group rose in status until eventually, in 552 Sai Inuzuka was elected as the 29th Daijō-daijin.

Due to this precedent, the Hanguri faction began to gather gifted children in Chungsu. They educated them, trained them in various fields, and nurtured them into skilled leaders, whether it be in politics, business, or the military, all in the hope of one day producing another Daijō-daijin. Over the years it became a sort of tradition for the Inuzuka clan members to send their firstborn child to Chungsu, and now it was Kōtetsu’s turn to make the journey. Shortly after his third birthday, he was brought to the capital of The Freehold of Hanguri, where his affinity for steel release was discovered. It was also here that he met his lifelong friend and swordmaster, Keotsu.

Kōtetsu would spend the next thirteen years going through harsh training in various arts. From medical ninjutsu to kenjutsu, he mastered everything his instructors threw at him. He developed a habit of sneaking out and exploring Chungsu’s nightlife. He became notorious for doing this and eventually, his nightly strolls were known and anticipated by the merchants and scholars of the city. It was during one of these strolls that Kōtetsu came across a drunk man assaulting a woman. Naturally, he couldn’t sit still and watch. He approached the man and the two began to argue, but seeing no progress Kōtetsu physically repelled him, causing him to fall and hurt his head.

The scene they caused alerted some patrolling soldiers, but instead of being praised for his action, the Inuzuka was instead arrested and prisoned beneath the man’s mansion. As it turns out, the man he had injured turned out to be an influential and corrupt politician called Shido Masayoshi, who bribed the guard to apprehend Kōtetsu, lock him up in the mansion, and cover up any rumors or trace in regards to his disappearance. He was held by Shido for months, slowly being tortured and beaten. It eventually reached the point where the young Inuzuka stopped fighting back and lost hope of ever escaping from that hellish place.

Then one night the earth shook and the mansion walls crumbled, freeing his shackles from the ruined building. Kōtetsu crawled through the rubble until he reached the surface, and he would never forget what he saw the night. He didn’t know it at the time, but what he witnessed was the Kyūbi no Yōko as it razed the capital city. Everything was either on fire or destroyed by the large beast. Kōtetsu began to make his escape, but as he walked through what was left of Shido’s mansion, his ears picked up the sound of crying. He went to investigate, and after moving some pieces of rubble he came across three small wolf cubs, so young that their eyes had yet to open, curled up around a black sword.

Taking the cubs and sword with him the Inuzuka fled Hanguri and returned to the Land of Fire. With barely any provision, the journey to his birthplace was more difficult than he expected. After a month of traveling, Kōtetsu finally arrived in Zhouhua, and upon entering the deep forest he was met by a number of his clansmen. As they surrounded him, a lone woman approached him. Her eyes welled up with tears as she hugged Kōtetsu and whispered, “My name is Sýr, and I am your father”.

Kōtetsu would spend the next few years amongst his clan, getting to know his family and training in the Inuzuka clan’s techniques. During this time he also went on several adventures throughout the Land of Fire and his mother’s homeland in the Badlands of Earth before eventually stepping into a leadership role for his people.

To be continued…

Other Information

Inuzuka Baseline: As a member of the Inuzuka Clan Kōtetsu not only has a passive +20 damage to Taijutsu involving his hands, but he also possesses greatly enhanced senses, especially his sense of smell and his sense of hearing. By concentrating chakra to his nose his sense of smell is amplified to an even greater extent, allowing him to detect, track, and monitor targets from up to three landmarks away. He maintains a permanent fusion with his ninken through the use of Fenrir's Lesser Oblige.

Fenriru No Gimuzuke | Fenrir's Lesser Oblige
Rank: S
Type: Supplementary/Offensive/Defensive
Range: Short
Chakra: 40 ( -15 per turn )
Damage: N/A
Description: This technique was designed to rectify the weaknesses of managing multiple bodies within Battle. Many Inuzuka found that their Ninkens became easy targets for area of effect Ninjutsu techniques, and often experienced problems with defending from widespread attacks without compromising their Ninkens health or position. As such this technique was developed as a fix for these flaws. This technique allows an Inuzuka to enter into a lasting fusion with their Ninken(s). While fused the Ninken will inhabit the user's body and the user will gain the ability to use techniques that require 'Four-Legged Beast' transformation as a prerequisite and will also gain the senses of their Ninken. The Ninken(s) will be aware of the world through the user's senses however their mind and chakra systems will remain separate. The Inuzuka however will still be capable of tapping into their Ninken's chakra supply and will be capable of using it to bolster their own supply for future techniques. Lastly, fused Ninken can demerge from their host body at any point in time, and can also choose to re-emerge without cost. Merging and de-merging however is not instant, instead, it simply functions as a Ninken or Inuzuka walking outside of the host's body - and as such is far inferior to the merging abilities of Souma No Kou. One added benefit is that a host can have appendages such as tails or wolf ears that can prove useful in combat but are largely cosmetic, the main host can also be switched at will - housing the user and other Ninken(s) within a Ninken's body instead.

Note:
- Must be posted at either the start of the battle or in the user's biography, and is active at all times.
- In the case of deactivation (On the user's account or as a result of an enemy technique) this technique can be reactivated again at the cost of a move. Each reactivation will require more chakra than the last, doubling each time.
- This technique serves as the ultimate baseline form for Inuzuka clan members. After using another transformation the user is capable of reverting back to this form without completely canceling the previous transformation, instead, they retain the physiological benefits of the other transformation (Such as increased sensing and other abilities) and are also capable of re-entering the previously activated transformation without cost as it is still considered active. (Does not distort or ignore turn restrictions)

Ninken: The King of Beasts' constant companions, Sirris and Solaire are High Breeds, while Sif is a Hunter Ninken. They are not only faster, stronger, and larger than standard ninken, but are also capable of human speech. These three are silver wolves with red celestial markings covering their erratically grown fur, with Sirris' markings being the most complex. The first two are six feet tall, while Sif stands at five feet. Each of them wears crimson-colored bracers on each leg, which when twisted in a certain manner can momentarily release a short blade three inches in length from within. As a result of the selective breeding and genetic manipulation used to create them, Sirris and Solaire have experienced genetic mutations. Sirris' genetic mutation resulted in her being born with three tails that she can control separately, while Solaire's less pronounced mutation comes in the form of heterochromia, a mutation that resulted in one of his eyes being crimson and the other an amber-like color.

Haiburīdo | The High Breed
Type: Supplementary
Rank: N/A
Range: N/A
Chakra Cost: N/A
Damage Points: N/A
Description: After decades of research and selective breeding, the High Breed was born. The High Breed was bred to be genetically superior to all other Ninkens immediately displayed talents that completely overshadowed that of lesser breeds from a young age. High Breeds are born with a more robust constitution, resulting in them being larger, stronger and have a base speed of 13, faster than most other breeds as well as having a passive 20 damage increase to their techniques. They also look far more wolf-like as a result of their wolf-rich bloodline. High Breeds display savage intellect, and are capable of exercising great cunning and problem-solving abilities; and as a result of their advanced intellect, they have gained the ability of articulation. Other talents include a healing factor allowing them to heal just as well as 15 damage per turn, heightened smell based senses on par with 3T and extends up to 1 landmark away. However High Breed's have been known to reject their Inuzuka counterparts, entering into a faux relationship for a time, and then turning on their paired Inuzuka the moment they have grown large enough to kill their ill-suited partners. As a result, the High Breed was kept secret and many voted for their extermination, but in the end, they were merely banished into the woods of Konohagakure, kept alive in case the clan should have a need for them in the future. However, should a High Breed fully accept an Inuzuka a most curious phenomenon will occur in which both the High Breed and Inuzuka will become mentally linked, capable of sharing thoughts, feelings, and experiences with each other, with such a deeply intimate bond being the absolute apex of an Inuzuka and Ninken bond. (A high breed cannot use Ninjutsu or elemental Taijutsu (Aside from Inuzuka techniques of course) by default).

Note:
- Must either be posted in the user's bio (Along with an explanation of how they met a High Breed and a description of their High Breed) or posted at the start of a battle. (In which case their High Breed by default will simply look like a wolf that, for it's age, is up to twice larger than any known Ninken.)
( Ryōshi Ninken ) - Hunter Ninja Dog
Type: Offensive/Defensive/Supplementary
Rank: D - S
Range: Short - Long
Chakra: N/A
Damage: N/A
Description: The user's Ninken are among the Hunter breed of dogs, a breed available to every Inuzuka. These dogs are capable of using all of the Inuzuka canon techniques but with added effects as well as unique abilities exclusive to the main breed, unable to be obtained by custom breeds. Commonly used as the hunter dogs, these dogs are more suited to battle than their canon counterparts and as such have a neutrality to energy based attacks and a strength to all physical attacks. In addition to this, they are capable of dealing 20 damage via freeform attacks, though this cannot go over 80 damage inflicted a turn as well as a standard 20 additional damage to their Ninken techniques. These ninken move at 18 speed and have a tracking level of x2 as well as smell up to 2 landmarks away. However, this is unique to the Hunter Breed of dogs.
Note: Must be a member of the Inuzuka Clan.
Note: This is a passive technique, meant to describe the Ninken, and does not entail a sort of manipulation.

Úlfhéðnar: Kōtetsu's physical prowess in close-ranged combat is virtually unmatched due to his natural affinity for both the body arts and sword arts. His ability to make use of Chakra Enhanced Strength and its related techniques only bolster his power, especially since he is able to continuously increase his damage output.

Gleipnir: Serving as the tethers that bind him to the earth, the iron-clad weights around Kōtetsu's legs serve to limit his speed, reducing his base speed by three levels when worn. Having grown accustomed to the added weight over time, whenever he removes them he experiences a tremendous boost to not just his running speed, but also to his leg-based attacks.

(Katai Omori) Leg Weights
Type: Weapon
Rank: S
Range: Short
Chakra: N/A
Damage: N/A
Description: An advanced version of the normal Leg Weights created for those dedicated to their craft, the Advanced Leg Weights increase the stress and weight applied to the user in order to achieve an even higher payoff. When inactive and worn, the user experiences a -3 Speed level drop due to the intense weight slowing him down. However, when released, the user gains a drastic boost to his base running speed (x4) and +35 to all his kick-related moves. Much like the weaker versions, this boost in strength and speed is completely nullified when releasing the EIG or when using any kind of movement speed enhancement technique or weight manipulation technique; they don't add up on each other. Only one of the user's bio can have these weights at any time.

Runic Inscriptions: Kōtetsu is well-versed in the sealing arts, granting him access to a number of unique techniques that require fine chakra control. The first of these techniques is a seal applied to Angurvadal's hilt and The Sanguine Maw's haft that binds the weapons to his hand and allows them to release streamed jutsu from their edges. Angurvadal possesses a second seal on its blade that, when activated, allows it to seal away the chakra within an incoming technique. More advanced than the others, the last seal in his possession serves to resuscitate him in the event he falls unconscious by flooding his body with Yang energy to heal his physical wounds.

( Fuuinjutsu: Hecate's Nekutai ) - Sealing Arts: Hecate's Binding
Type: Supplementary
Rank: C
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15 ( -5 each turn )
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user forms a Fuuinjutsu that is simple in nature yet advanced in it's applications. Channeling chakra, the user creates a seal that is applied to a weapon of the user's choice. The purpose of this seal is to extend the user's chakra manipulation through an instrument of his choosing. This allows the user to release Jutsu from this instrument or item of choice as long as it's in the form of a streamed jutsu, like Great Majestic Annihilation or a projectile like Water Bullet. A one time use seal, this can be applied either in battle or pre applied before battle by placing in the user's bio. After applied, lasts until the user cancels it. In order for this to work, the weapon has to be in contact with the user's body or said jutsu will be released from their original point of release.
Note: Can only be used on weapons the user owns.
Note: This seal also binds the weapon to the user, meaning it can't be lost unless the user himself throws it away.
(Fuinjutsu/Kenjutsu : Shi no Ōgama) - Sealing/Sword Arts: Lost Blades
Rank: S
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 40
Damage points: N/a
Description: Lost blades is a very unique type of technique. Applying both sealing techniques with kenjutsu, making the technique, Lost Blades. The user will apply a seal on the blade portion of their sword. Doing this, the user is able to slash at anything that pertains to chakra in it, be it medical chakra, other forms of chakra. (excludes senjutsu or fuinjutsu). By doing this, the moment the user slashes at something, the seal instantly activates, sealing the chakra inside said technique, allowing for the slash to disperse the technique. This makes it look like everything the user cuts at, gets slashed and dispersed.
Note: Can use two times per battle
Note: Both Fuin and Kenjutsu is S rank, allowing the user to seal S rank and below
Note: The seal is pre-applied to the sword before battle. After usage, the user has to manually apply the seal to the sword again (This portion does not take up a move slot, but using the technique does)
Note: Seal stays dormant until clashes with other technique
(Yōton/Fuuinjutsu: Kokū no Zantō - Sorarisu) Yang Release/Sealing Art: Remnants of the Void - Solaris
Type: Supplementary
Rank: S
Range: Short
Chakra: 80 (-10 per turn)
Damage: N/A
Description: Solaris is a unique Advanced Fuuinjutsu seal placed on the body that incorporates Yang chakra. This seal works by passively siphoning Yang chakra from the user’s body and storing it, with the seal being capable of storing up to 80 chakra in total. Making use of the body’s condition as a trigger this seal will activate whenever the user falls unconscious as a result of an enemy technique. Upon activation it floods the user’s body with the previously stored chakra, purging any invading chakra and healing the body by the amount of chakra stored within the seal and essentially “breathing life” back into the user, allowing them to regain consciousness as the invading chakra is flushed from their system. In addition to resuscitation, the user’s constitution will be temporarily boosted for the following two turns due to the abundant Yang chakra, making them immune to Spiritual techniques with less chakra than that stored in the seal. While this energy heals physical wounds, it does nothing to mitigate the damage done to the spirit, meaning that if the user’s health is depleted through damage done spiritually, this technique will not resuscitate them. Due to the overwhelming amount of Yang energy present within the body, the user will be unable to make use of Yin release, other Spiritual techniques, or elemental techniques for the following two turns. Their speed is also reduced by -3 levels, and they are unable to use techniques above A-rank for the same duration.

Notes:
- This technique must be placed on the user’s biography.
- This technique can only be used once per battle, with the seal’s activation counting as a move.
- Upon resuscitation, this technique will heal the user up to the amount of chakra stored in the seal, though it cannot recover HP lost from spiritual damage.

Weaponry: Angurvadal: "Stream Of Anguish". Crafted by one of the few remaining master wordsmiths of his clan, Angurvadal is a uniquely crafted broadsword that Kōtetsu received upon his ascension to the clan head. With a hilt created from the ivory bones of the Guardian of the Forest, Angurvadal's inky black blade was specifically shaped to inflict as much damage as possible to its target, causing it to leave gashes at the slightest touch. Worn strapped across the Inuzuka's back, the weapon sports an ivory lanyard on its hilt. Due to a secret ritual, the entirety of the weapon is clad in a thin layer of Mythril that gives it a silvery gleam, enabling it to access the abilities of the Astrum Sword.

You must be registered for see images

In addition to his sword, Kōtetsu has a wide assortment of shuriken and kunai, flash and smoke bombs, pre-made sealing tags, and various other ninja tools in the thick fur waistline of his ragged skirt for easy access. He possesses a heavy-duty version of the standard paper bombs and The Sanguine Maw, a two-handed and double-edged axe crafted from Tiamat’s ivory bones that is kept stored in a seal etched into the back of his right hand.

(Ani) Brother (Passive)
Type: Supplementary
Rank: N/A
Range: N/A
Chakra Cost: N/A
Damage: N/A
Description: Keotsu's legendary blade Mythos has been with him through trials and tribulations of all sorts; and in turn, Keotsu has used his strength to help his friends through their own challenges. The strength Keotsu could offer was always limited, though, as so many of his teachings were made with his own blade in mind. This technique allows others to use Mythos, when they normally could not. Because Mythos is tied to Keotsu's soul, he will perform a small ritual with one that Keotsu is incredibly close to: Keotsu will place Mythos in its entirety atop one of his brothers-in-arms' weapons, and coat it in an incredibly thin layer of the Mythril that Mythos is made of. In this action, Keotsu accepts this person into his soul, marking them as someone of great importance to him. This imparts the weapon with all the abilities of Mythos.
*Note: Cannot be used in battle. The purpose of this technique is to allow others to be able to use Mythos.
*Note: True to the blade, if a piece of Mythos is ever used against Keotsu, this technique will "deactivate", and that person will be as if they could not have used Mythos in the first place.
*Note: Those who Keotsu teaches "Brother" will be able to use (Ten'notsurugi: Mythos, Jinsei no Sāberu) Astrum Sword: Mythos, Vita Saber with all of its abilities, including access to the Legendary Command Arts.
(Ten'notsurugi: Mythos, Jinsei no Sāberu) Astrum Sword: Mythos, Vita Saber (Reference)
Rank: N/A
Type: Weapon
Range: N/A
Chakra Cost: N/A
Damage: +20 to Kenjutsu and Command Arts
Description:[ "The Blade of Heaven...Mythos the Life Sabre. One of the Ten Shinning Weapons." When Keotsu returned to the known continent from his journey to regions unknown, he returned with his blade Mythos in a new form; some secret event took place which reconfigured the blade and created a powerful connection between Keotsu and the sword. The Mythril blade retained its ability to change it's shape, but not it's mass when subjected to Keotsu's chakras, as did the scabbard of the weapon, though the two were no longer explicitly linked. A few improvements were noted by Keotsu, though: the blade seemed to resonate better than before, boosting his powers in battle: offensive Kenjutsu techniques and Command Arts have their power increased by +20, and defensive and supplementary Kenjutsu and Command Arts are increased in their effectiveness by +20 (that is, a defensive technique that is A-rank (60 damage) would be capable of now defending from an S-rank (80 damage) ; second, the blade came to reject energies that were foreign to Keotsu - that's to say, for example, if an enemy tried to use Nagashi after grabbing the blade, the energy would stop completely due to the nature of the blade's composition. This particular power comes about from the blade's new found synergy with Keotsu, in an effort to prevent it from being used against him. Retaining all the properties of the metal it was forged from, Mythos is indestructible and will never dull, in any of its forms.

*The user can manipulate the blade’s form during battle at any time, but it costs 35 chakra to do so, and also counts towards one of that turn’s three allotted moves.
*Can only be wielded by Keotsu. When someone else tries to hold the blade, it will reject their chakra and increase its density exponentially, making it too heavy to be lifted. However, it reverts to its original density when Keotsu is holding it.
*While the sword can transform into different types of weapons, like a katana or spear, it is bound by its mass, meaning that the form it takes on has to be within the realms of creating from the same amount of matter.
*While Mythos is in hand, Keotsu is unable to cast Genjutsu at all.
(Jūhō Kibaku Fuda) Heavy Artillery Exploding Tag
Rank: N/A
Type: Offensive
Range: N/A
Chakra: N/A
Damage: +20 to Explosive Tags
Description: A heavy-duty version of the standard issue paper bomb, this exploding tag has substantially more power than a regular exploding tag, and is generally used in heavy demolition. Other than being .5 inches longer than a regular exploding tag and with the kanji for “erupt” instead of “explode” in the middle, they cannot be discerned from their weaker counterparts at a glance. These exploding tags can be used in place of weaker ones in jutsu involving them.

*In order to use these, it must be mentioned in the user’s bio that they carry this version of the exploding tag – otherwise, the user cannot use these.
(Sagīnjōzu) - The Sanguine Maw
Type: Relic Weapon
Rank: Forbidden
Range: N/A
Chakra: N/A
Damage: 80
Description: The Sanguine Maw is a two-handed and double-edged axe crafted from Tiamat’s ivory bones. At the base of the grip is a single crystalline orb flickering with black and white energies representative of a fully powered weapon core. The axe is bound to the Boar seal and can be summoned to the user or sealed passively at their discretion. When wielded with two hands the user can, at the cost of a move, swing the axe to inflict 80 damage.

Intrinsic Traits:

Sanguine Affinity (I-III): Fortifies the user’s vitality, enhancing their health by an additional 20/40/60 points.
Roiling Blood (I-III): The intensity of battle augments the user’s power. Increases all damage by 10/15/20% of Health Points missing from biography’s maximum Health, up to a maximum of 40.
Fortified Anatomy (I-III): Enhanced physical durability confers the user a passive damage reduction to physical-based techniques. Reduces physical damage taken by 10/20/30 points.

Exsanguination (I-II): Exsanguination is a devastating ability that combines the power of Roiling Blood with the user’s own overwhelming life force, augmented by the Sanguine Maw. The ability manifests on the Maw as blood, a physical representation of the user’s own lost health. When unleashed it forms a crescent blood wave, launched at the speed of twice an S-Rank Water Release technique and neutral to all techniques it clashes with. It has a long-range reach. The damage it inflicts is correlated to 125%/150% of Health Points currently missing. Tier II Exsanguination passively affords the user a 50% reduction to all effects of Health Fatigue. This passive is not active when Exsanguination is on cooldown. Can be used twice per battle, once every ten turns.

Blood Brawler
A warrior born in blood and battle. Alters the appearance of Sanguine Maw into that of a one-handed axe, allowing its swings to be performed with a single hand.

Sanguinary (B-Rank, active): A skill that enhances the benefit conferred by Fortified Anatomy, exchanging its passive benefit for a significantly increased physical damage reduction. The drawback is that it increases the damage intake of Spiritual-based techniques by 50%. This ability lasts for three turns and reduces physical damage by 30/50/80. Can be used twice per battle, once every three turns. While on cooldown the effects of Fortified Anatomy remain inert.
Bloodied Veteran (A-Rank, passive): Passively strengthens Roiling Blood, increasing its damage enhancement to 30/40/50% of the user’s missing Health Points in exchange for it only being applied to Taijutsu and Bukijutsu. Cannot be applied to elemental Taijutsu.
Reborn in Blood (S-Rank, passive): When the user’s Health Points fall to zero they will passively gain a single point of health back, allowing them to continue fighting. Can be activated once per arc.
Tunnel Vision (S-Rank, active): For a moment the user is able to ignore the effects of Health Fatigue and pain entirely, becoming an unrelenting scourge. This technique lasts for two turns or until an enemy is not within short-range of the user. Can be activated twice per battle.
Blood Render (F-Rank, active): Converts Exsanguination into a devastating close-quarters ability. The technique remains the same with the exception of the blood forming on the axe and remaining on it, unleashed in short-range in a massive explosion of blood. Increases damage done to 175%/250% of the user’s missing Health Points.

Scarlet Virulence
A bloodborne plague spread from user to foe. Alters the appearance of the Sanguine Maw into a red and black two-handed axe dripping blood from its edges.

Vile Disease (B-Rank, passive): A virus born from the user’s blood. The user is immune to the effects of Vile Disease. The disease is released from the Sanguine Maw through its techniques and swings, most notably the blood that drips from its edges passively. The disease infects through a single moment of contact, inflicting 20 damage per turn indefinitely until cured with an S-Rank Medical Ninjutsu or A-Rank Yang/Utu technique.
Wave of Blood (A-Rank, active): A technique that produces waves and streams of blood from the Sanguine Maw, inflicting 60 damage and passively applying Vile Disease to any living target it touches. Costs the user 20 Health Points to activate.
Unholy Empowerment (S-Rank, passive): Converts the damage bonus of Roiling Blood into a powerful boon toward the user’s Scarlet Virulence abilities, and other techniques that manipulate their blood. Increases the damage bonus to 30/35/40% of missing Health Points.
Blood Familiar (S-Rank, active): Forms a familiar from the user’s blood, granting it 200 Health Points at the cost of 50. The familiar moves at a base speed of 17 and is able to use Vile Disease, Wave of Blood, and Exsanguination. Its Taijutsu inflicts 80 damage at the cost of a move, increased by 20 points of damage for every 20 points of Health lost.
Vector of Infection (F-Rank, passive): A passive augmentation to Vile Disease, increasing the damage it deals by an additional 20 points. It also saps the strength and agility of the victim, reducing their speed by 70% of its base and causing the Vile Disease to spread each turn to any other living target within 20 meters of their position, with the only exception being the user.

Endless Devourer
Consume the life of your foes. Alters the appearance of the Sanguine Maw into two one-handed axes.

The Butcher (B-Rank, passive): The user’s Bukijutsu with the Sanguine Maw siphons the life of the target they strike, whether the damage is inflicted or not. Each strike siphons 5% of the base damage of the technique used, unless it is evaded outright.
Empowered through War (A-Rank, passive): Whenever the user gains excess healing through The Butcher they activate Empowered through War, increasing their speed by 2.0x their base and all damage they do by 20. Lasts for two turns or until the user’s Health Points fall from their maximum.
Open Wounds (S-Rank, passive): When an opponent falls below 20% of their maximum health they will gain an Open Wound, causing them to bleed 10 Health per turn that can only be stopped when they fully heal themselves again. This bleed increases in potency to 20 and 30 points per turn when their health falls below 50 and 80% of their maximum health respectively.
Consumption (S-Rank, passive): A passive technique that accumulates any excess healing acquired through The Butcher. Excess healing is defined as any healing that goes beyond the user’s maximum health capacity. This healing is stored, up to 80, and can be added to Taijutsu or Bukijutsu technique as a boost to its damage, including Exsanguination.
Extinguish (F-Rank, active): Activated within the same timeframe as Exsanguination, causing any damage it inflicts to increase the rate of The Butcher from 5% to 15%.

Artifacts: Throughout his journey Kōtetsu has accumulated a number of rare and mystical artifacts, most of which he acquired during his time in Irkalla. The first of these is Final Shape, a calcified essence of a spectral Beast of Tiamat that affords him unrivaled mastery over a small number of barriers, while the second grants him the authority to reduce the strength of enhanced enemy techniques.

(Saishū Keijō) – Final Shape
Type: Artifact
Rank: A – Forbidden
Range: Short – Long
Chakra: N/A
Damage: N/A
Description: Ancient calcified essence of the Kulullu, the Beast of Sealing; it appears as a solid mass of bone-like frozen matter no larger than the size of a fist. The Final Shape reflects the Kulullu’s mastery over the Sealing Arts, able to manipulate barriers in such a way that allowed it to produce any non-geometric shape it desired. Though as a product that tends more toward the pillar of Life and Chaos, rather than Order and Chakra, it tends to prefer the former in its activation. The artifact confers on its user greater mastery over three barrier techniques: the Four Violet Flames barrier (A), Four Red Yang (S), and the Six Red Yang Formation (F). In order to use Final Shape, one uses it as an infusion of chakra and vitality, depending on the level applied. The infusion changes the inherent mechanics of each barrier type. On a basic level the technique allows the user to shape any of these three barriers to suit their needs, escaping basic geometric formations that they are confined to. That said, they must still be used as traditional barriers. They cannot be shaped into projectiles, formed into armor, or anything that does not confine them to being used as constructs to defend or confine a certain area of the map or landmark. Each barrier is modified to be able to absorb a certain amount of damage akin to a health pool, rather than being broken by a single technique that meets a threshold. When applied to the Violet Flames barrier it allows it to absorb 100 damage before breaking, at the cost of a 30 chakra infusion. The Four Red Yang Formation is afforded the capability to absorb up to 200 points of damage at the cost of a 60 chakra infusion and 20 health points, and its Six Red Yang counterpart can absorb up to 400 points of damage. This comes at the cost of 100 additional chakra infusion and 80 health points. The essence allows the user to overcome the need for multiple partners to use it. Regardless of the rank applied, once the barrier expires the user cannot use Fuuinjutsu above A-Rank for three turns. This Final Shape was issued in Arc 16, and will be sunset at the beginning of Arc 19.
