Kōri Caverns

The Kōri Caverns are a system of caves and caverns, made in part by natural processes and by the armies of Aléxandros Mégas, hidden beneath a rough and rocky terrain of barren, snow-clad mountain ranges. Entrances to this underground network can be found everywhere in the area, even on mountain peaks. The tunnels themselves are illuminated by torches of blue light that never go out, but they are mostly empty.

Another almost untouched terrain, Kori Caverns have been able to maintain themselves due to being underground and protected by mountain ranges and rugged hard ground above. Some of the caverns have been slightly damaged, so some routes have been completely changed where you have to exit and reenter to continue the routes. It's said that there are demons inhabiting the caverns now. Some say they are the Arali but some say they are animals that have evolved after being in contact with the moon debris.

Coming from here:

This post marks the beginning of my mission using these storyboard elements:

Do some moderate meditation to improve focus (1), set up camp (1), gather resources from the land (1), do a good deed (1) (1)

Summary: Following his mission to guard a messenger attempting to deliver a peace treaty, Richard realises that his current state wouldn't allow him to last long against more enemies. He re-enters the Badlands of Earth, trying to find a safe haven to settle down and recover in. As he completes the final leg of his journey, he must reflect on his travels and exploits thus far, coming to terms with his own inner conflict, and find some way to recover.

Richard's feet barely lift themselves off the ground as he walks through the freezing mountain range, his armor doing little to keep him warm or comfortable as he trudges through the snow-clad paths. Clutching his rib and breathing heavily, Richard attempts to stave off feelings of despair as the temperature chills him to the bone, his movements becoming sluggish and his limbs locking up. His sword hung at his side, the blade bearing numerous scratches along its formerly spotless surface, being of little use to Richard at this point. Though it had helped to carry him through the major battles of the last few days, it would do little to carry him through the snowy ridges. His sense of time is lost, the greying landscape and endless hail that fills his vision gnaws at his being, his body quivering as it attempts to maintain whatever shreds of warmth it can muster. If he didn't find shelter soon, he would die. His wounds still needed tending, and he required rest. Dark spots begin to appear in his sight, slowly but surely clouding his vision with each step he took. He took a step forward, and stopped. His panting had become exacerbated, the quivering greater. His figure slightly hunched over, Richard places his right hand on his weapon, the sword that hung on his left hip, the weapon that had carried him through his journeys in life thus far. His weapon, named Excalibur. Of course, not the real Excalibur, the one used by King Arthur, the Sword of Promised Victory, as many had called it. But not Richard's sword. Though it was called Excalibur, it was merely an imitation. An aspiration. Just as he was. A boy growing up in a world of ninja, who wished to be a knight. He was not his father, Henry, nor his mother, Eleanor. They were ninja, who had sworn an oath of duty to their clan, to uphold their own interests and that of their brothers and sisters. But at the cost and expense of others around them. The lives of others. Richard despised it, but was he not the same? No matter what he despised or disagreed with? Wasn't that the reason he left the Nara, at the behest of his father as he lay on his deathbed? So he could pursue his own ideals, of peace and tranquility?

Richard falls to his knees, the cold amplifying his exhaustion. He could barely muster the energy to think coherently, let alone stand even hunched. The snow drifts through the air, some of the flakes coming to rest on Richard's body, lining his armor and hair with meager coatings of white. His body is no longer shaking as much, though that is more a sign of his body's decreasing function rather than adaptation to the cold. His eyes are now trained on the snow that covers his path before him, though his vision is fading. His mind is elsewhere, attempting to reason with himself. Attempting to justify his own existence to himself. He remembered the combat and reconnaissance missions he went on for the Nara, the amount of blood that was spilled in the Land of Fire. It sickened him. Though he killed, it wasn't what he wanted. The deaths of his clanmates was all he could bear to stomach. He couldn't save those people. The people sent on missions by his mother and father, people who were his brothers and sisters, not by blood, but by bond. One could say that, from the moment Richard picked up the sword as his first training weapon, swinging it wildly but with total certainty, his path and that of the Nara; his parents', would diverge someday. He left based on that diverging path, diverging ideals, to seek the means to a world that would know peace. And he would embody that ideal. But thus far, he had killed many. Many who were fighting for the sake of their clan, their family. Much like his own former clanmates. Though wrong as they may be in his eyes, he had used his blade to cut them down. Whether he detested that notion and action, it was done. Whether it was necessary or not, it was done. But was it justified? He had prevented the further pillaging of resources by Saladin and his knights, he had saved Hōzōin from his own clanmates and helped to facilitate a major peace agreement between two clans. In that sense, was the killing worth it? It was in the moment of asking that question to himself, that Richard's vision came back into focus. The grip of his right hand on his sword tightened. He drew the weapon, stabbing it into the ground, gripping the handle with both hands. He was not the King of Knights, Arthur. Neither the Knight of the Sun, Gawain. Nor the Knight of the Lake, Lancelot. He was the Lionheart, Richard. His sword was not the Sword of Promised Victory, Excalibur. Neither the Sword of Revolving Victory, Excalibur Galatine. Nor the Unfading Light of the Lake, Arondight. His was the Sword of Forever Distant Victory, Excalibur. Though his ideal, his very being, was but an imitation, it was no less real or beautiful than the real thing. Though it may be something outside of his own reach in this lifetime, he would still fight so that his ideals and aspirations would become reality, someday. He lifts himself up with newfound resolve, the snow that had gathered on his shoulders and head being shaken off by his movement. Standing, his body breathes in gasps in order to draw in more air, having been starved of oxygen as it slowly began to shut down. Continuing straight ahead, Richard walks through the white-covered path, his sword leaving behind a thin line where its blade cut through the layer of piling snow.

The mountainous path slowly declines, Richard trying not to fall down the side and to his death. Eventually, the white smog clears, revealing a deep canyon in the mountains, with a single bridge connecting the two sides to each other. On the other side, a large cavern entrance is observable, its opening seemingly inviting anybody passing by to enter. Striding to the bridge, knowing that a shelter like this probably wouldn't be easy to find again, he makes his way across the horizontal structure. Once he enters the cavern's mouth, he notices that the cave itself possesses a blue sheen everywhere. Courtesy of the torches, whose flames shine blue. Though the interior was, as expected, nothing but rock, it would make for a good place to stay. Taking his armor off, revealing his form-fitting, and more casual, attire, he goes back outside to retrieve some wood to make a fire. The torches alone would not keep him warm. The trees closer to the mountainside, back on the other side of the canyon, would do.

Walking to the trees, Richard draws Excalibur, slashing at the lowest branches. With time, he could take down the entire tree. But time was not on his side. And he didn't want to take too long hoarding resources beyond his needs. Spending a few minutes taking down branches, some as thick as his arm and others as his fingers, he makes his way back to the cavern. It wasn't as cold down in the canyon, so he was grateful enough for that. He'd noticed a bush containing an assortment of berries next to where he'd arrived in the canyon, so he would go back for them in a moment. Dropping his stockpile of wood and Excalibur at the cavern, he returned to the bush on the other side of the bridge. Kneeling at the bush, he quietly gazed over the many berries that were growing. He'd been taught by his parents how to survive in the wild alone, given that Nara territory was simply a large forest, and as such he knew how to pick the right foods that would not result in stomach pain, or other sorts of unpleasant sensations. Taking a fair number with him, Richard needed something to keep his wounds cushioned. His cape would do, it would just mean sleeping on the bare rocks rather than a thin layer of cloth. Returning to the cavern, he painfully sits himself down in a wince, his back sliding against the wall as he lowers himself. Undoing the buttons on his jacket, Richard sighs in exhaustion, ready to help himself to the berries he'd collected. But it'd have to wait, as Richard sets all the wood into a pile, taking a smaller piece and twisting it in the tinder until it was set alight. It began as small embers, and slowly progressed into flames of a relatively big size. Holding open palms to the fire for a moment, Richard allows the heat to permeate throughout his being. His body quivers at the sudden exposure to warmth, adjusting to the new source of heat. Almost getting carried away, Richard returns to his berries, picking some up and placing them in his palm, ready to eat.

A shadow stretches into view in front of Richard as he prepares to dig in to his berries. His head instinctively turns to pinpoint the object creating the shadow. It wasn't a person, but an animal. A deer. The animal stares at him for a moment with eyes of pure black, the Lionheart returning it in silence. The deer stands at the cavern entrance, its spindly legs holding its thin frame steady. Looking down to the hand that held the berries, Richard guessed that it was searching for food, food that would normally be on a nearby bush. But he'd taken from it, and now only the inedible ones were left. His heart sinking in his chest, Richard turns his head back to the animal, outstretching the arm holding the berries. The animal doesn't retreat or come closer, merely standing still for a few moments. It begins to step forward after it realises he means no harm, coming closer to Richard. The deer stands next to the sitting knight, lowering its head to take from Richard's hand. It swiftly bites a few from his hand, and raises its head again, chewing on the fruits. Half are left for Richard, but it doesn't matter to him. He smiles at the animal, lifting his other hand to pet the deer as it ate the berries. After a few more moments of chewing, it looks towards the one who'd given it food, as if to silently thank him for the gesture. Nodding, Richard watches as the animal walks out of the cavern and back into the canyon. Eating the rest of his berries, Richard takes his cape and crumples it into a bundle of cloth, making it into a makeshift pillow. Placing it on the stone floor of the cavern, Richard lowers himself so that he can lie down, resting the back of his head on the cape. The fire would continue to burn and keep him warm, whilst he slept, recovering from his recent battles.

Kilik walks into the most unusual terrain that he had encountered in his travels. It was a remote system of caves and caverns, each detail is documented as well into the pad and taken note of. Activating his sensory, it would allow the lad to be aware of his surroundings while on foreign soil as he slowly yet swiftly navigates through the caves..

This post marks the beginning of my mission using these storyboard elements:

Explore an abandoned site (2), survive a near death situation (5) (4)

Summary: After resting, Richard has completely recovered from his battles. With little else to do, he ventures deep into the Kōri Caverns, uncovering fragments of history as he walks through the tunnels of the mountains. As he progresses, he comes across a horde of otherworldly creatures. He must survive the beastly onslaught whilst exploring the tunnels, in order to uncover the truth about the presence of these creatures. In finding the source of the creatures, he must overcome the challenge before him.

Richard's eyes blink open, his sight greatly blurred. The blue of the clear daylight skies shone into the entrance of the cavern, helping to illuminate the dim space. The young man didn't know how long he'd been asleep, but by now, his wounds were all healed, and his chakra completely replenished. All of his belongings were in order, as he'd left them when he first arrived. The fire had gone out, the charred remains of the sticks being all that was left. Sitting himself upright, Richard massages his head for a moment, trying to wake himself up fully. Putting a hand to his hip, he feels the hard handle of Excalibur. Breathing a slight sigh of relief, that his most treasured weapon hadn't been stolen by some bandit, he straightens himself out, stretching the stiffness out of his body, and stands up. A slight breeze swept over the mountains, whistling through the entrance of the caverns and deeper onward into the ancient tunnels. The flames flickered slightly at the wind's touch, but they remained lit, as they had been for some time, evidently. Looking to the entrance, Richard turns his head to the dark depths of the cave, his curiosity piqued.

Crouching to the cold stone ground, he begins to put his armor back on, tightening the buckles and making sure they sit comfortably on his body. Once finished adjusting his armor, Richard looks back down to where his chestplate was, and notices a small, grey object on the ground. He crouches to take a closer look, and quickly realises that what is on the ground isn't a physical shard of something, but a small liquid mass. It slowly, subtly, writhes on the ground, as if it were a worm in its death throes. Squinting his eyes, the Lionheart is reluctant to make physical contact with it, not knowing exactly what it was. Opening one of his hands, he concentrates his chakra to the air right above his gloved palm, superheating it via short and rapid movements, the stimulation of the chakra giving birth to a small flame that flickers brightly in the dimly lit cavern entrance. He keeps his palm open, holding the small flame, and holds it close to the liquid matter as it writhes on the floor. Noticing little effect, he pushes the flame closer until it embraces the mass, hoping to burn it completely. Its movement simply becomes more exaggerated, erratic. Withdrawing his palm, Richard ceases the concentration of chakra to his hand, the flame quickly snuffing itself out. The young knight stands himself up, peering into the darkness, and adjusts Excalibur on his left hip, turning the rest of his body and walking deeper into the mountain's caves.

(Katon no Jutsu) - Fire Release Technique
Type: Offensive
Rank: D
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 10
Damage: 20
Description: The user will release a small but powerful flame of fire at their opponent from either their limbs (through movement) or exhaling it. It can produce fire balls or fire streams or simply aid in taijutsu.

There is only the sound of the flickering torches and dripping water that can be heard as Richard strolls cautiously through the mountain passages, keeping a single hand on his weapon. As he continued, he noticed a change in the appearance of the stone walls. They began to look less like the uneven, jagged surfaces of a typical cavern, and more akin to that of artificial tunnels. Natural, algae-covered stone turned to decrepit, but smoother still brick walls, illuminated by the flickering light of the blue torches. Perhaps this was not merely a series of caves the odd traveler came through and lit up, but a network of tunnels and passageways intentionally made by someone. The passageways gradually became wider and more open, the ground more even as well. The darkness slowly receded as the number of torches along the walls increased, revealing a series of inscriptions and carvings on the wall. Initially, they were little more than inane scrawlings, with little sense or meaning, but the further he walked into the tunnels, the more they began to resemble writing. Eventually, the carvings were accompanied by illustrations and visual imagery. Ceasing his progress through the caves, Richard stopped to more closely examine the words, the characters being incredibly small. He couldn't entirely make out the writing, but it seemed to be...some kind of story. A recap of events. Richard was unsure, he was only taught the history of his own clan, who were not overly involved in the affairs of the rest of the land. Ominously, the writing was accompanied by thin streaks and flecks of dried blood. Consistently, a single name was mentioned amongst the carvings; Aléxandros Megas. He continues through the cave on his previous path, the writing continuing along the walls, the area remaining dimly lit by the blue fire of the torches. Eventually, he reaches the end of the scrawlings, a large patch of dried blood merely inches from where he stood. On the wall next to it, there was a few more sentences of writing.

"My army, deserted. My conquest, ceased. My empire, dissolved. My dream, shattered. I, who would have been the most powerful man in all of the Freehold, who had every right to be...I, Aléxandros Megas, face a dishonorable, pathetic end in my own caves. Should anyone wandering through these caves come upon these words, this story of mine, know that it was I, Aléxandros Megas, who would have led mankind to a new world."

A hissing sound to Richard's left alerts the young man, and he draws his sword with haste. He hears more of the dripping sound which had accompanied him throughout the tunnels, but it wasn't water that fell upon the rocky surface of the cave grounds. It sounded more like sludge. What Richard saw before him was a not an animal he'd ever seen, nor something he could even begin to describe as resembling anything from the land.

It stood 3 meters tall, snarling at him viciously, its breath visible as small puffs of smoke as it stared down the young knight. Gathering chakra within his sword, Richard tightens his grip on Excalibur, making a motion as if to holster it, but only holding it by his hip. He draws the weapon in a quick, upwards motion, releasing the charged chakra as a condensed wave of crimson energy, aimed to bifurcate the beast. The collision caused the creature to stagger a few meters, but it did not sustain any meaningful harm. Changing tact, Richard pours more chakra into the blade, vibrating it within and around the length of the weapon at a high, but constant frequency. Causing the energy to manifest as lightning, he tenses his legs and crouches slightly, leaping towards the great beast. Reaching its legs, he performs a sweep motion to sever its right leg. Though the move is successful, the creature had regained proper footing, raising itself on its hind legs. It's tentacle like appendages flew out from under the beast, aiming to grab Richard and impale him. Bending his legs, Richard swiftly crouches as he slides along the ground, evading both the tentacle-like legs. He would stand himself up and continue to run, allowing his carried momentum to charge his next swing. His sword carves through the beast's left hind leg, joining the other fallen limb on the ground as the large creature lets out a chilling screech.

( Suraisu Shinku no Nami ) - Slicing Crimson Wave
Type: Offensive
Rank: B
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user does a simple cresent-shaped slash at the opponent, expelling a red chakra wave.
( Kusanagi no Tsurugi: Chidorigatana ) - Grass Cutter Sword: One Thousand Birds Katana
Type: Supplementary/Offensive
Rank: B
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user flows Chidori current through a katana in manner similar to flying swallow technique. The Radiating and chirping blade can easily cut through steel. Furthermore, the body of the person cut by the sword goes numb, taking away their freedom of movement.

Looking behind him, Richard sees black mud ooze from the stumps where his sword had severed its limbs. Without warning, the creature suddenly turns around and lashes out with its stumps, aiming to knock the young man to the floor. Leaning out of the way of one limb, Richard fails to account for the other and is knocked backwards, bouncing off the wall and landing hard on the floor of the cave. His armor had taken most of the impact, but Richard could feel the force behind the blow. Standing up, wiping the grime from his face, he watches the beast slowly inch towards him, its mouth watering. Mildly disgusted, Richard grips Excalibur with both hands, and swings his blade at the creature, sending forth a blade of lightning which splits into multiple smaller, connected blades which branch off and attack the beast. It lets out a terrible scream as the lightning pierces its skin, slicing deep into its flesh. The attack leaves it stunned for a moment, allowing Richard to close in and jump towards its head. Raising his sword above his head, he brings the weapon down on the monster's head, the lightning coating the blade allowing it to cleave directly through the tough carapace. The strike is accompanied by more bone-chilling screeches, as well as spraying of black ooze directly from the wound. Summoning as much strength as possible, Richard tries to force the blade further into the head, but its no good. The beast lashes out blindly and violently, attempting to get Richard off its body, and succeeds, sending him hurtling to the ground. The young man lands on his feet, his armor and part of his face now covered in the blood of the creature. Panting, he sheathes his weapon, he concentrates his chakra to his right hand, forming a dense mass of lightning that chirps in his palm. Raising it quickly, he releases a wave of senbon, made of pure electrical energy, which would pierce through the limbs and body of the beast en masse. The energy would be released with such force that the limbs would be pinned to the walls and floor of the cave. Taking a moment to charge his hand with chakra yet again, he imbues the chakra with the lightning nature, and hurls it directly towards the carved head of the injured creature. The ball of lightning slams directly into the beast, exploding in a bright flash of lightning. As it expands, the energy sends shockwaves of kinetic force throughout the walls of the tunnel, causing deep cracks to appear. The beast is vaporised, leaving a charred pile of black ooze. While the creature was dealt with, Richard had weakened the surrounding rock, meaning that at any moment, part of the mountain could collapse on his head. With small pieces of rubble and debris already beginning to fall, there was no time to risk performing seals and manifesting an extra layer of protection through jutsu. Turning tail, Richard runs as fast as his legs would carry him, the sound of cracking and crashing behind him being incentive enough to not look back and just keep running.

(Raiton: Chidori Senbon) - Lightning Release: One Thousand Birds Needle
Type: Offensive
Rank: A
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 30
Damage: 60
Description: The user reshapes the Chidori in their hand into the form of countless senbon which are shot with a simple hand movement towards the target. The senbons are extremely precise and have the same numbing and paralyzing effects as Chidori, carrying enormous speed. Because the technique requires no handseals and is done with simple hand movements, its extremely hard to avoid while in short range and quite dangerous to counter due to the precision attacks it can be used to perform.
(Raiton: Sanda Appu) – Lightning Release: Thunder Up
Type: Offensive
Rank: A
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 30
Damage: 60
Description: The user concentrates a lot of lightning chakra into their hand, compressing it into a ball of lightning energy. The user can then hurl it at the enemy or trust it forward in a melee attack. Once the ball hits the target, it expands into a massive lightning explosion.

Running through the continuous passageway, Richard spots light shining from the wall, not in the same way light was produced from a torch. It shone through the wall, rather than from it, meaning that there was some kind of opening in the cave. Mustering the final dregs of his strength, Richard makes a frantic rush for the potential doorway, hoping that it would offer an exit from the collapsing tunnel behind him. As he nears the light, his breathing hastens, air entering and leaving his lungs at heightened pace, preventing his body from absorbing the oxygen effectively. His limbs begin to burn from the exerted effort, and his head goes light. Slowing down slightly as he reaches the light, he pivots his body to face the source of the light; a large chamber. Not registering anything else, only that there was a room to escape to, he leaps into the open chamber, the cave collapsing behind him. Panting as he lies on the ground, he looks up around him to observe his surroundings, now that he was safe. Cages, tables with open scrolls and parchment, wooden seats, meat hooks...Richard was unsure what to make of it. Lifting himself to his feet, Richard dusts himself off and puts a hand to his hip, making sure that Excalibur was still on him. Feeling the curvature of its handle, he places the hand on the weapon, walking around and inspecting the room. Walking to the table in the center of the room, he sees an open scroll, which read like a list of ingredients or components for something.

"'Nero Chaos', 'the primordial soup'..."

Perplexed, a hissing sound behind Richard alerts him to the presence of another being in the room. Turning quickly, expects to see another one of the otherworldly creatures standing before him, ready to pounce. However, what greeted him was not one of the beasts. At least, entirely. Likewise, it was not entirely the visage of a man he observed upon turning around. It was a strange amalgam of man and beast, but not of the same appearance as the one he'd saw and fought in the tunnels. It resembled the form of animals that he'd seen, simply made out of that same black ooze which he'd seen at the entrance of the cave, and spurting from the creature's head when he swung at it with his sword.

You must be registered for see images

"Whoever you are, you've done well to find this place. What you see around you is my experimental chamber."

Too tired to scoff, Richard's reply is all that makes it out of his mouth.

"Whatever it is you're experimenting with? It tried to kill me earlier."

"As it should. These are beasts, you know. Deranged. Untamed. Like all things in this world, their innate nature is that of chaos. It is what preceded them, before all of creation, and after all creation subsides, it will be all that is left."

"Lucky for me, that time isn't right now...if you could direct me to the nearest exit, I'd rather appreciate it."

"You're not leaving here. I've a severe lack of human specimens, aside from myself. It isn't often that people come through these mountains, not for the last 300 years."

The last few words of the man's sentence catch Richard's attention, startling him somewhat upon hearing them. Regaining his composure, he lets out a small smile.

"An apology about your pet wouldn't change your mind, would it?"

Without batting an eye or saying a word in response to his dry wit, the man lashes out with tendrils of the same black ooze from before, lashing out at Richard. Drawing his sword quickly, Richard quickly channels chakra through his blade, manifesting a cloak of electrical energy that runs along Excalibur. Slashing straight through two of the tendrils, a third grabs his arm and flings him leftwards, slamming him directly into the wall. Landing crumpled on the ground, Richard sees the man visibly unaffected by the blow he'd dealt with his sword. Standing up, he moves in for another shot at dealing any kind of damage to the man. Simply met by more tendrils, he slashes through them, continuing on his path towards the man. He enters short-range of him, but is grasped but the wrists and ankles by the ooze which had escaped his view. The tendrils exert a great grip on his weapon arm, squeezing it with great pressure until Richard relinquishes his grip on his weapon. Attempting to squirm free from his restraints, Richard grimaces in exertion as he struggles to even move an inch. Again, he is flung into a wall by the man, as if he were no more than a piece of garbage standing in his way. Clenching both his hands into fists as he lifts himself from the ground, Richard feels embers of anger building in his chest, mixed with desperation. Staring down the man, he wonders how next to approach the situation. A frontal attack would only result in further injury, or get him killed. The man didn't seem to exhibit any form of invulnerability. Just tricky to approach. With this in mind, Richard formed a single seal, manifesting a cloak of flames on his body that would serve to protect him from further attacks. He rushes the man-beast hybrid, allowing the tentacles to scorch and melt as they attempt to attack him, raising an arm and forming a small construct in the shape of a clawed fist to punch the man directly in the gut. The blow connects, but it doesn't even make the man flinch, and Richard raises his fist to strike again. He's met by a sudden impact to the side of his head, a larger object being slammed into his armor. Though it isn't dispelled by the attack, Richard is knocked to the floor and at the mercy of a large canine-like head, snarling at him. As it lunges down to snatch his body into its jaws, Richard rolls out of the way, dispelling his armor of fire. Channeling chakra to his palm seals, Richard quickly converts a portion of his reserves into Dark chakra. He jumps back, observing as the mud beast raises its head, snarling at him again and opening its great jaws. Seeing an orange color slowly become more and more visible in its jaw, Richard raises an open palm in anticipation, his suspicion being confirmed as a blast of flames is unleashed towards him. As the fiery energy reaches him, the Lionheart activates his palm seal, absorbing the energy and allowing it to be converted into Dark Release chakra. Landing on his feet, the embers of fire slowly dissipate into the air from the maw of the beast, which appeared to be emerging from the man's arm.

Farao no Hōrei #4. Ra no Kagayaki ? Pharaoh’s Decree #4. Ra the Radiant
Type: Supplementary / Defensive
Rank: S
Range: Self
Chakra: 40 (-10 per turn)
Damage: N/A
Description: Performing 4 hand seals and channelling chakra throughout the body to every point on the skin, the user will release a coating of fire release chakra that will form itself over the body as a flaming armour, with holes in the armour for the eyes and mouth. The fire itself is above the skin, the flames being angled away from the user’s body that prevents the heat of the fire from affecting the user at all (the user is still able to perform handseals and make movements for techniques that require any kind of movement or gestures). Since the fire is simply a layer of energy with its shape maintained through chakra manipulation, it does not impede the user’s mobility whatsoever, allowing them to move freely and unhindered. The flames themselves are tangible, so they possess a solid quality to them, allowing the armour to deflect basic weaponry, and defend from jutsu according to the S&W scheme. Utilising further shape manipulation, the user is able to passively (in terms of timeframe, though still costing a move) form makeshift weapons of variable strength (E-A rank), made of tangible fire using the armour as a source. Since they are formed from the armor, they'd weaken it proportionally upon being created. For example, forming an A rank weapon would reduce the Armor's rank to A rank as well. If the weapon is prematurely destroyed, the user can (at the cost of a move/use of this jutsu) restore the armor to its original strength. These weapons are simply manifested at will and thus are formed instantly, allowing the user to utilise them immediately upon creation. Any weapons created through the armour can extend up to 5 meters in length and 1 meter in width at maximum. Because these constructs are simply extensions of the fire itself, they possess no weight either. The user can also release single blasts of fire, slightly larger than that of basketballs, towards a target through gestures, that can reach up to mid-range and create an explosion on impact encompassing short-range, which costs a move. In close-quarters combat, this armour is incredibly dangerous, due to the strength and heat of the flames that compose the armour itself, and its ability to create weaponry and even attack on its own. Due to the nature of the technique, only Fire Release and other elements, of which Fire Release is a component of, can be used whilst this technique is active.

⇒ Usable 2x per battle
⇒ Lasts 4 turns
⇒ No Fire techniques above A-Rank on the turn of deactivation
Meiton: Jigyaku Keikō - Dark Release: Masochistic Tendency
Type: Supplementary
Rank: B-rank
Range: N/A
Chakra: 20 (+20 for double usage)
Damage: N/A
Description: Masochistic Tendency is an invention by a Dark user in need to be more resourceful of his Dark Release chakra in certain cases. This is considered a passive technique and does not affect the time frame. The process of this technique unfolds like the following. Borrowing a small portion of his original raw chakra inside his body (exactly 20 chakra points), the user will deliver it into either of his dark marks. The mark will absorb this chakra and automatically convert it into dark chakra, which is then stored inside of the mark, unaffected. The user can alternatively send his chakra into both of his dark marks simultaneously, thus he spends 40 chakra points. The absorption of 20 chakra points will enable the user to perform one dark technique (up to A rank) which requires it and whereas 40 chakra points will allow the user to perform one S rank technique.

- Can only be taught by Klad
(Meiton: Kyūketsukō) - Dark Release: Inhaling Maw
Rank: B
Type: Offensive, Defensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user uses their dark release to forcibly extract the physical and spiritual energy (chakra) of another ninja and absorb it through the upper square of the mark on his left hand, which can then be used to perform Dark Release: Judgment.
Note: Can absorb up to A-Rank Wind, Fire and Lightning techniques, S-Rank raw chakra or C-Rank Water, all within reason. Has no effect on Earth techniques.

"You've done well to survive thus far, but..."

As the man trails off, Richard feels his feet being pierced from under him, the shock preventing him from countering the single tendril that would lash out and wrap itself around his neck. It would exert such pressure that his airway would be closed, cutting off breath immediately.

"I am one with hundreds of years of combat experience. You don't even look like you've tasted real combat. The kind where everyone around you must fall for your survival. Where their concession of defeat is not victory. You have not tasted the real world, true chaos, yet."

Richard would respond, were it not for being strangled. His vision begins to darken, the man's words become gradually less audible. His strength starts to ebb away, his body becoming less tense. The grip of the tendrils on his neck becomes stronger, as if his head was about to pop off at any moment. It was in that instant that his mind flashed back to memories of his father, pleading him to leave the Nara, to pursue his own dreams beyond the clan. To pursue his dreams of peace. But what could he do? Against an opponent so powerful, who could ignore all his attacks and blows without so much as flinching. His mind trails off on that thought, his consciousness fading...

Ba-bump

Richard's fingers suddenly contort, as if to grasp at something within reach, and Dark chakra pours from his seals, rapidly enveloping his body. In a moment's notice, Richard's body adopts a much more demonic visage, his hands and feet becoming claws, his face becoming a maw of gnashing teeth with a mantle of horns. He breaks free from the tendril holding his neck, the burst of energy eviscerating the tendrils which had pierced his feet. The man would watch Richard undergo the transformation, not appearing to be phased at all by the sudden development. Mockingly, he speaks to the transformed Lionheart.

"You don't appear all that different from my own beasts now."

Growling in response, Richard stares down his target, not having entirely lost himself in that moment, but not being himself either. He was acting purely on instinct. Tensing his legs, Richard leaps towards his opponent, arm raised to slash at the head of the man. With tendrils raised to pierce his form, Richard instinctively channels his Dark chakra throughout his body. In that moment, the tendrils pass through his body, having become completely intangible. He passes through the man, sapping chakra directly from him as he emerges, landing on the ground behind him and turning to make another slash at the man's head. Another tendril passes through his body, resulting in more chakra being sapped. The man leaps away as Richard's clawed hand reaches for his head, turning to face the beast-like knight from where he stands on the other side of the room. His intangibility ending, Richard faces his opponent, looking only to deal harm to the man, all thoughts of escape having left his mind.

(Meiton: Mikoto no Yabun) – Dark Release: Lords of the Outer Night
Type: Defensive/Supplementary
Rank: S
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 40
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user will focus their chakra into the mark on their hand to release their dark chakra from within it. It will pour out and momentarily coat their body before fusing into it. The purpose of this is for the user’s body to undergo an elemental conversion, namely a transformation into dark chakra. The dark chakra will be condensed to the point it behaves as “solid” similar to techniques like Water Release: Sword of Draining and so they will be susceptible to attack from solid elements such as Earth Release. The violet-coloured form they assume will possess all of the traits and attributes of Meiton such as the ability to absorb chakra and certain elemental techniques. They will be capable of absorbing attacks following Dark’s elemental S/W (B-Ranks for weaknesses, A-Ranks for neutrals and S-Ranks for strengths). If the user is struck by an attack that exceeds this such as A-Rank water, they will be forced out of their transformation and sustain the full damage of the technique which struck them. Even solid elements such as Earth or Steel will be capable of interacting with and harming them in this form due to it’s previously mentioned tangibility. Upon contact with living beings, the user will be capable of siphoning chakra from their body (20 per strike). The real utility of this form is exhibited when certain conditions are met. For each technique absorbed while this is active, all of the user’s techniques gain +5 damage per absorption and the duration of this transformation is extended by two turns. While this is active, the user can only use Dark, the elements which compose it, any CE based on them and non-elemental abilities.

Note: Lasts four turns and can only be used twice per battle
Note: No A-Rank or above Dark on the turn this ends
Note: No A-Rank or above Fire or Lightning on the turn it ends
Note: Cannot be used whilst restricting the opponent's Earth Release in any way.
(Meiton: Gokai no Chouhatsuteki) - Dark Release: Lust, the Lascivious
Type: Supplementary/Defensive/Offensive
Rank: A
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: N/A
Description: While Lords of the Outer Night is active, the user will focus their chakra throughout their transformed body to lose their “solidity”. The dark chakra which composes them will assume it’s usual intangible state but unless willed otherwise, will retain the shape of the user’s body/form so that there’s no tell or sign that a technique has been used. This initial part of the technique is as fast as a standard chakraless Taijutsu technique as the preparation component is voided by having the body already transformed into dark. It’s an extremely simple maneuver as all it does is revert the dark chakra which composes their body into it’s natural state of intangibility. As such, it’s fast enough to be performed in close quarters combat. Upon coming into physical contact with the opponent in this state, that part of the opponent’s body will pass through the dark chakra. Of course, this contact will drain a portion of their chakra due to dark’s inherent absorption abilities. The chakra drain stated in Outer Night is exacerbated as rather than grazing contact, part of their body will be surrounded by and effectively submerged in the dark chakra. As a result, a considerable portion of their chakra will be drained (100 chakra points). This is simply a byproduct of the technique and not it’s true purpose for being used. Due to the intangibility of the dark chakra, while they pass through it, a small portion of it will pass into them and linger inside their body (similar to genjutsu). The dark chakra will essentially constitute an “infection” which resides inside of the victim’s body to drain their chakra and effect their vitality. This infection is equivalent to the rank of this technique and will become more malignant the more time passes as it feeds off the opponent’s chakra to strengthen itself. It will consume twice as much chakra every turn, starting at a base of 20 on the turn of infection. While this is active, the opponent will be unable to use techniques S-Rank and above. To rid themselves of this “infection”, the chakra can be purged with a full body surge. The slight twist is that the surge must abide Dark’s elemental S/W to be successful. The surge must be one rank higher if it’s neutral, two ranks higher if it’s weak to dark or the same rank if it’s weak to Dark (so an A-Rank surge of Earth or Water would break this technique). On the flip side, the infection will consume any foreign chakra or energy inserted into the opponent’s body and so they become immune to Genjutsu while this is in effect.

Note: Can only be used twice per battle
Note: The intangible state only lasts a single turn
Note: No A-Rank or above Dark in the user's next turn
Note: Can only be used while Lords of the Outer Night is active

He leaps forth again, aiming to attack the man again. The opponent summons three more beasts from his body again, in addition to the single one already present, this time to unleash a large torrent of flames that would incinerate him. Fortunately, Richard's current form allowed him to assimilate the flames, and thus, he would continue on his current path to the man. The ground cracked in a small circle beneath his feet where he'd stepped, and Richard gripped two of the beasts with his bare hands, attempting to rip them out of the man's body.

"Do not think it so easy to tear apart my body. I, Nero Chaos, am of a different level of existence to yourself. Even if you should rip apart my body, I will simply regain form, and even should you manage to tear off my head, you will have only killed one of the six-hundred and sixty-six beasts that reside in my being. You cannot kill me, boy."

Meiton: Okayaki no Shisshi) – Dark Release: Envy, the Invidious
Type: Supplementary/Offensive
Rank: A
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: N/A (60 damage if used to attack)
Description: While Lords of the Outer Night is active, the user will begin focusing their meiton chakra into their body to change it's composition. They can extend blunt or bladed weapons from anywhere or even reshape the body itself, whether partially or fully. They can shape themselves into anything from a suit of armour to a humanoid dragon-like creature. Any weapons created through this method can reach up to short-range and can either remain attached to the user or be detached and wielded normally. The weapon will equal the rank of the user's body while it's attached (as it's effectively considered an extension of their being) or will reflect the rank of this technique if it's detached and wielded/thrown. If multiple weapons are created and detached, they will collectively amount to the rank of this technique (A-Rank). The user can also modify their body to create/grow any type of limb or additional appendages such as arms, legs, spiked protrusions, wings, tails, scales, etc. Created limbs will reflect the utility of their real-life counterparts, for example a pair of hands will be capable of performing handseals and forming wings will allow the user to fly.

- Lasts two turns max
- Can only be used three times per battle
- Two turn cool down before re-use
- No Dark Release A rank or above in the same turn (Besides LoTON)

Richard dismissed the challenge, not as a conscious decision, but he was too consumed in his own lust for blood that it had merely registered as noise. Releasing a hand from Nero's shoulder, he shapes it into the form of a large knife, which he would thrust straight through the chest of Nero. There'd be a brief pause where it seemed as if Nero was taken aback by the blow, but as before, it had barely even registered to him. The beasts lunged forward from Nero's body, biting and gnawing at Richard's body, attempting to rend him limb from limb. Pain flares in Richard's body, and he lets out a slight groan. Smirking, Nero feels the blade in his chest slowly withdraw, anticipating that Richard would soon succumb to his own condition. To his surprise, a purple miasma concentrates around Richard's torso, the denseness of the energy causing the air around the two to distort. Richard gazes up at Nero, his rows of teeth forming into something of a small smile. The energy is briefly drawn into Richard, before being explosively released as a charged, omnidirectional blast of raw energy. The release sends Nero flying through the wall behind him, the knife having been drawn cleanly from his body by the impact that expelled him from the room.

(Meiton: Doki no Takedakeshii) - Dark Release: Wrath, the Furious
Type: Offensive
Rank: A
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: N/A (same as absorbed technique) 80 + 30 = 110
Description: This can only be used while Lords of the Outer Night is active and after absorbing at least one technique. The user will focus his meiton chakra throughout his body and convert the absorbed technique into Dark Release before releasing it in the form of an omnidirectional explosion of purple flames. This violet conflagration carries the same rank as the absorbed technique (if more than one was absorbed, this applies to the most recent absorption) and spans up to mid-range in every direction around the user. While this technique requires a minimum of one prior absorption to be used, it’s effects are more profound if multiple jutsu have been absorbed prior to it’s usage. For each additional technique absorbed before Wrath is used, it gains +10 damage per absorption. For example, if three techniques were absorbed before this, the explosion would gain an active damage boost of +20. This can be done up to a maximum of +30, which would require 3 absorptions to reach. This “counter” is reset after every use of this technique. Of course, this can't be stacked with other boosting techs.

Note: Can only be used twice per battle
Note: No S-Rank or above Dark in the user’s same and next turn
Note: Can only be used while Lords of the Outer Night is active

Still standing where he was during his last attempt to attack Nero, Richard's purple form slowly fades, revealing his human appearance. Gasping for breath, Richard's entire body had become heavy, his chakra expenditure, combined with his restless movement and attacks from mere moments earlier, had drained him greatly. However, he had to confirm whether or not Nero still lived. Trudging through the hole in the wall, he steps back into the tunnel network, looking to his left and right in search of Nero. To his left, he sees the light of day, and footsteps leading towards that light. Sighing, he falls to his knees, the sharp stinging pain in his feet finally registering completely. Turning himself around, he crawls back through the hole, hoping to find something to patch himself up with. Luckily enough, there were bundles of bandages, strewn on the floor after his fight. He wouldn't expose them directly to his feet, for fear of infection after contact with the ground, but he'd keep them wrapped over his broken boot, stemming the bleeding somewhat.

Having tried to enter the haunted forest, Sin ran into a barrier, a large one at that. Was it a trap from the one who sent the hawk or someone else guarding their lands? Either way, Sin wasn't going to risk it. Instead he emerged from the ground back in this landmark wondering what he should do. He was in unknown lands now so he'd have to be careful, he couldn't keep using his charka to travel, so it was time to get inventive.

Name: The Pervy sage
Rank: C
Elements chosen:

 • Build technology

Sin entered the tunnel system in the mountain looking for an open space. It seemed they were all lit up, but why? Had someone been here recently? Did someone reside within these tunnels? He couldn't be too careful. He made his way in looking for a place where it would open up into a larger room, one where he could hide out of the way. When he finally found this, it was time to make it safe for him to rest, it had been a long few days and he couldn't afford to get into any fights. Taking out a book from his cloak he looked around before opening it up, within this book were six small golf ball sized devices. Taking out these devices he placed them around him, 3m apart in a triangular shape, before stepping out of them. From there he closed the book and pressed a button on the side, from here, the orbs lit up before releasing a field, the orbs couldn't be seen and it just looked like the area before he had placed anything. What this was, is a deception field, it reflects the area around and blocks all chakra signals, masking the users location and chakra, allowing them to rest for a while or even for reconnaissance. Sin stepped forwards where the field disrupted for a single second and he was on the other side where he could see the orbs once more. He sat down worn out.

Rank: C
Range: Short - Long
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: X
Description: This is a unique technology that is actually made to look alike the casing is a book so as to not draw attention to the contents. Within their are six beacons, all the size of a golf ball. This is a technology specifically designed for deception. How it works is the users will set up a minimum of three of these beacons, then when they activate them, they will connect and form a distortion field of sorts. What this will do is create a hologram. This hologram will reflect and blend into the area where they are placed, for example, in a forest they would show trees. A barrier of sorts to hide what was truly inside. Not only this but they would give off a frequency to disrup chakra sensors from sensing the chakra of those within the barirer. This distortion is released around and would stop sharingan and rinnegan from seeing chakra within, though byakugan would be able to look beyond the barrier and see what was within. It was designed for reconiscance missions, hiding the users in plain sight along with their chakra signatures. If one of the beacons would be damaged, the field would fail and need to be set up again or reactivated. Due to the set up required, generally not the most useful technology when it comes to a fight. If it were to be used in a fight, activating the field would cost as a single move by pressing the button within the "book" container.

"Why does it have to be this hard travelling. I get one message from the hawks of all things, i'm sure someone tried to attack me and horus in the sky and all these lands are claimed by those rising villages, what am i meant to do?"

Before he knew it he was sat leaning against the wall with that book open in front of him on the floor, 3 nodes remained within, while the other three remained active. It was getting quite hot in here, due to the closed space, the rock acting like an insulator for the heat and it being a closed space. He took off his jacked placing it on the ground. Now his biggest problem would come when he had to move on, he couldn't move with this field. If he kept going underground he'd run out of chakra, and if he kept suppressing his chakra, he wouldn't be ready if he was attacked again.

Pondering for a while he picked up one of the orbs just messing with it in his hand. This tech he'd made a while ago was so useful, but he needed to make it even better. He looked down at his cloak then had a genius idea. He reached into his pouch on his back to see what tools he had before going on, a kunai, some wire, the usual paper bombs etc, it was just what he needed, well, not the paper bombs but the other bits. Though it seemed it would have to wait if he wanted to rest now. First he started by placing the 3 orbs out in front of him, before drawing a kunai, using that as a screwdriver to take out the screws and open up the orbs. He'd forgotten how intricate these were, so many small compartments, pieces and those chips and wires, in a place like this would be rather difficult. Instead he would sit back for a moment thinking the best way to do this. Then he had an idea, first he would activate his sharingan, this would help him with seeing the details and such within the process, now, he was sure, in his pouch he should have, that right, his small med kit. He was a trained med shinobi, but still liked to carry the basics. Within this kit was a small pair of tweezers which were usually used for taking out shrapnel and such from wounds but they would perfect for this.

( Doujutsu: Sharingan ) Eye Technique: Copy Wheel Eye
Type: Supplementary
Rank: C - A Rank
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 15 - 30 ( -5 per turn for 1T and 2T, 10 per turn to keep active for 3T )
Damage: N/A
Description:
One of the Three Great Dōjutsu (San Daidōjutsu), the Sharingan is the kekkei genkai of the Uchiha clan. Unlike the other Dōjutsu, not all members of the Uchiha Clan possess the Sharingan. This great Dōjutsu seems to awaken only on exceptional Uchiha members and only in times of great stress. Once awaken, the pupil turns red and a single tomoe (巴) seal appears around the center pupil. As the user masters and evolves their eyes, the tomoe (巴) seals increase, topping 3 per eye. The main ability of the Sharingan, like any other Dōjutsu, is to enable the user to see the flow of chakra. This ability is further improved as the Sharingan gives color to chakra, enabling the user to differentiate chakras from different people or from different sources. Although the user can see chakra through matter, he cannot see beyond dense matter or in long distances. Coupled with the ability to see chakra, Sharingan users gain acess to an incredible clarity of perception that enables them to read insanely fast movements or minor details, enabling them the ability to foresee in an easier way, traps, incoming attacks, etc. This clarity of perception is so great that a Sharingan user can sometimes start performing a counter to an attack that is still being performed, enabling the counter to be launched only a split a second after the attack. This clarity of perception leaves Sharingan users able to track high speed movement easily as well as to read through handseals. This last ability enables them to learn techniques much faster and sometimes copy them directly from the enemy, as long as the user has the necessary chakra affinities and requirements to perform it. Finally, the Sharingan is often linked to Genjutsu and mind-manipulating illusions, mostly because the user can, mostly through Eye Contact, directly and precisely use his chakra to manipulate the enemy's chakra flow. In return, the users clarity of perception gives him the ability to more easily decipher visual illusions cast upon him and see past them. The Sharingan has a great cost to the user though. The chakra consumption disables its use for long periods of time and, even when the user grows stronger, it's still hard to keep it active for long periods of time.
Note: The user, if he hasn't gained full mastery over his Sharingan, will need to spend a move to activate it, although as long as he has chakra and enough stamina he'll be able to keep it active until the end of the match. If the user is Sannin Rank or above and has gained his 3 Tomoe Sharingan and held it for one month, he becomes able to passively activate it, meaning he'll no longer spend a move of his 3 per turn.
Note: To avoid direct Eye Contact and be able to focus only on the body movement below the chin, the opponent needs to have mastered Taijutsu to possess the necessary skill
Note: C rank usage is for 1T Sharingan, B rank usage is reserved for 2T Sharingan. A Rank usage is reserved for 3T Sharingan.
Note: Predicting the nature of a technique or what it exactly is requires the user to either know the technique or that its a cannon technique.
Note: Danzo and Kakashi bios activate the Sharingan by removing the covers in their respective eyes and suffer a +10 chakra consumption per turn penalty
Note: The user is bound by the abilities and limits of the stage of sharingan he possesses, stated in the rules of the KG.

Now with his sharingan active he starts taking out the main chip from each of the devises along with the small wires that came with them placing them to one side. Next he would take the wire he had in his pouch, what was great about this wire is, it's conductive, as seen when shinobi channel lightning through it, it was perfect for what he was planning. He began to thread this wire throughout his cloak, into the hood, all down to the base, this would be used to transmit the signal. Next he would carefully attach the three chips from the orbs he had, one to the right side, one to the left and on near the base of the hood of his cloak. Now, it was a bit, unconventional, but he need a way to bind the wire to the chips he'd taken from the orbs. He released a small amount of fire chakra intp the tip of his finger, creating a tiny focused flame, and slowly pressing it to where the wire met the chips, one by one, fixing them in place to create the full circuit.

From here he stepped back, now he took out the activation devices and began working them into the cloak. Though it seemed like a simple task, this was far from it, the focus, the constant use of his sharingan, the intricate detail of all the pieces, it was draining and time consuming. After over 2 hours of messing with it, he sat back and let his sharingan deactivate as he wiped the sweat from his forehead. Though there was one thing he still needed to do. He pulled the cloak on, then with the final touch he activated it. With this nothing seemed to happen, but, it didn't short out, it seemed to be working.

[Tarnkappe, Shigurudo No Tate] – Tarnkappe, The Cloak of Sigurd - Custom tech learned from gutsy
Type: Tool
Rank: S
Range: Short
Chakra: N/A
Damage: N/A
Description: The Tarnkappe, or Cloak of Sigurd, is a garment which is intended to protect the wearer from the cold, rain and wind. This cloak is no different in that fashion, it is fastened around the neck with a small black chain, its length extending down to the middle section of the calves, additionally it has an attached hood. The cloak is designed as a white cloak with patterns of black lightning across it. The cloak is the designed with a unique fabric, known as kevlar, a material which allows it to stop incoming basic weapons such as swords, axes, kunai, senbon etc up to a C rank projectile, anything after that will destroy the wiring within the cloak, rending it useless. It will cause bladed weapons thrown or swung to strike to bounce off the cloak, and it applies to the general forms of none damage enhanced freeform combat. In addition to the cloak’s unique complexion, it has some unique features which the wearer can activate through surging his energy through it. The first feature that the Tarnkappe is in the possession of, is a unique technology known as motion sensors. These motion sensors are situated all across the cloak, allowing it to detect any changes in the air around the wearer, and detect the motions of animals, humans or even tools within the vicinity of short-range of the cloak. Thus the cloak acts as a form of sensory in the way that it detects any motions within short-range of the wearer this is done through technology more than chakra. Conclusively, the cloak has one final feature, which masks the wearers presence. Whenever the wearer pulls the cloak around his body and the hood over his head, it has a unique device implanted into it, which emits a frequency that masks his chakra effectively concealing him from chakra sensors as well as concealing his body in the sense that it conceals his chakra circuit from foreign eyes. This allows the wearer to blend into his surroundings more freely. What this can't do is hide the users heat signature or smell.

Note: If the cloak is hit by B rank or above, it will short circuit being rendered useless.
Note: The motion sensors only work short range around the user, taking 5 chakra per turn
Note: Hiding themselves can be used twice per battle with two turns between the users and lasts for a maximum of four turns.

With the wire through the cloak, it would at least offer some protection from small based projectiles from getting through, so that was something, Now he was ready to move once more. But for now, he'd have to rest, he'd spent so long moving around and the effort that went into working on this cloak, instead it was time to sleep while in the protection of his other technology. And so he settled down for the night.

The following day he would gather his tech, wear his cloak and make his way through the tunnel system and leave the landmark.

Alright, guys, we went over this. You're supposed to burst through the ground while I play music.

I mean the difference between us, and the rest of them is the presentation. One-... two-... three. Go! Go! Go!

With a thunderous crash, the two golems burst forth from below the ground splitting the ground as they crept forward.

It appeared that they had traveled through a hidden network of tunnels after crossing the ocean.

( Sandāu~ēbu ) - Thunderwave
Type: Tool
Rank: A
Range: Short - Long
Chakra: N/A ( - 5 per turn when used )
Damage: N/A
Description: Thunderwave is a basic chest plate outfitted with a surround sound speaker system, and a microphone. It can be used to play music or make noises more audible than normal similar to a karaoke machine. It is able to produce sound louder than most techniques or the clashing of techniques and can be much louder than the user or opponent can scream. In essence it can act like the (Utsusemi no Jutsu) - Empty Cicada Shell Technique passively at all times being louder and stronger than even that basic technique. It comes pre-loaded with all of the wielder's favorite songs. In battle it can be used to play theme music or it can make the user louder as it has a built in microphone system connected to the speaker system.
The primary use of Thunderwave as mentioned above is the ability to play music with the offshoot of this being the ability to cancel sound waves with sound waves while playing music. This is similar to the Scientific Ninja Tool: Shijima and works like a noise-cancellation speaker. The system can emit a sound wave with the same amplitude but with inverted phase also known as antiphase to the original sound. The waves combine to form a new wave, in a process called interference, and effectively cancel each other out. This effect is called destructive interference and is able to nullify sound techniques in equal rank. The sound can encompass a short - long range area around the user being louder the closer to the user the people who can hear it are and due to this it has a dampening system as to not harm the users ears or cause them any undue problems. It can be fine tuned to look different depending on the wielder's appearance or preference.
Note: Sound techniques can only be canceled once per turn three times per battle.
The two massive golems continued marching forth following the commands given to them by Doombringer beating against their chests to the drum solo. He was the clone left behind to wrangle up the big ol' golems Sado had left behind in Tobusekai. He was shaking his ass and thrusting his hips forward to the rhythm too drawn into his own performance to care about trivial shit like people's lives, and the public safety. With destruction on today's menu, it was as if the clone had an appetite for it.

That's it, that's it. That was totally badass. Too bad no one was around to see it, big fellas.

Moving forwards, Vegeta summons the scales of the White Snake Sage, covering his body in them. Along with his new look, the scales begin drawing in natural energy for him as the duo continue on their quest, if their intel was correct they had to be getting close now. With his Byakugan, there was no where the target could hide, he just needed to be patient and continue to look. He directs Boit to the direction he wants to move, and the two head out once more..

Senpo: Hebi Sēji Hontai) Sage Art: Snake Sage's Body
Rank: A
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Charka Cost: 30
Damage Points: N/A
Description: Snake Sage Mode users discovered the ability to summon the scales of the White Snake Sage. With summoning the scales, they have the ability to absorb natural energy and transfer the energy to the user. The user would summon the scales along their body. The user doesn't have enhance protection but just summons the scales along their body. These scales attach their selves to the user and gather natural energy and transfer the energy per turn at a 10% rate of the user's chakra for the following four turns. The percentage is based on the user's max chakra reserve so for an example if the users has 1000 max chakra reserve 10% of that chakra is converted into senjutsu chakra which is 100 so that is what is transferred to the user that turn and the following turns. The first turn the scales are summoned it auto converts 10% of the chakra and when the chakra is converted, the user enters Sage Mode that turn also; if they have not already. While this technique is converting chakra the user can only use two other jutsus until this technique ends. This can be used for all forms of Snake Sage Mode(Imperfect and Perfect Sage Mode) This cannot be used to prolong Perfect Sage Mode as per the rules but can be used to enter Perfect Sage Mode and get to its max level of senjutsu chakra which is 40% max chakra reserve.
-Only summoned by users of Sage Mode
-This technique last four turns or when the user cancels the technique.
-Can only be used twice per battle one turn cool down in between usage if a Perfect Sages but two turn cool down if Imperfect Sages. Perfect Sages can used this technique three times per battle
-No other Sage Mode jutsus in the same turn as this technique is used in besides Sage Mode its self of course.

Mission start: Deal with the effects of the void.
Horus made landfall finding himself facing with strange lands. Where was he heading? He saw the entrance to the unique caverns into the mountains, making his way inward to find shelter from the elements. A strange, blue light lit his way through the vast tunnel system as a sense of discourse flooded his mind.
Stopping, he leaned on one of the walls to the cavern holding his head. Images flooded through his mind. The dead fighting the chaos. His body on the verge of death. The rot flooding the land. The sky falling. A broken man. Terrifying dragons. It was all too much. His head began to hurt. He let out a cry of pain demanding the demons leave his mind.
He'd forgotten his companion was even with him as the dark thoughts clouded his mind. Salamander reached out through their mental connection, asking what was wrong with his master. It was like a feign echo. As though Horus was underwater, the sound was muffled. Salamander reached out once more seeking to help his master, though his thoughts were intertwined with the dark images that plagued Horus.
Horus snapped, his anguish and fear turned to hate and anger in an instant as his emotions ran wild. Like a damn breaking from the pressure of these haunting thoughts, his intent burst forth in a will to crush, destroy and even kill. This flooded out from him out of his control, as his killing intent surrounded him like an aura of despair.
Salamander felt crushed under the pressure of his master's will, like gravity increased 10 fold. He fell from Horus's shoulder, backing away in fear, barely able to move. He tried to speak, though his voice was lost. He tried to move, but his will was being crushed.
Horus slapped his own head trying to regain his senses. Trying to break the grasp of darkness that was warping his mind. "I... I can't... stop... why... why wont it..... STOP!!!!" Screaming the last of his words he fell to his knees as the killing intent subsided.
He collapsed to the floor. His body motionless. Slowly Salamander walked over to check on his master. He reached out to his mind once more to find nothing. His master was clearly breathing, but his mind, that was a different story. Edging closer, still shook by the fear, Salamander got closer to his master's face, reaching out to him.
They eyes of Horus shot open with a look that would haunt Salamander. This wasn't the gentle soul that had wished to help children. This wasn't the look of a man who was willing to give his life for his creation. This look was something to be feared. Horus rose to his feet looking down on his creation with a glow in his eyes. This look showed no emotion. The lack of emotion made it all the more terrifying. Salamander slowly backed away.

"Where are you going?" Horus spoke with no emotion in his voice. The affection, the care drained.
Salamander stopped backing away. He didn't know what to do. Horus made no move towards him.
Horus raised his right hand which was facing down the corridor into the mountain. Suddenly a form shot towards Horus. Salamander went to act though before he could, shock froze him. A beast shot towards Horus's hand. The hand gripped around the throat of the beast. Horus didn't turn to look from Salamander.
"Did I say you could spy on us? Did I say you could leave?" Horus spoke as he slowly turned his head to creature. His grip tightened on the beast's throat as it struggled. "How rude. Maybe I should teach you some manors?" With his last word, flames formed around his hand. These flames raged scorched in the beast, roasting it alive before the flames died down. As the flames stopped, so did the beasts movements. Horus released his grip as the beast dropped to the ground, lifeless. "Well, it wont be making the same mistake again. As for you..." He spoke turning his head back to Salamander. "It seems with you I've only created a liability. It's time we alter that."
Horus spoke as he stepped towards Salamander. Salamander bolted into the caverns, terrified not knowing what to do. What had happened to his master?
Horus turned to follow but his body was hit with a shock. His mind twitched as a feeling of remorse washed over him. "What the hell is wrong with me?" He growled through gritted teeth. Sweat dripped down his head. "Get... out of my .... head!".
Falling to one knee. Horus tried to regain his thoughts, though it felt like trying to tame the raging ocean with nothing but a net. A moment later, his will shattered. The side of him fighting to survive subsided as he returned to the emotionless broken being. He began after his creation once more.
Mission end.
