Priest nods and was impressed with the outcome. He looks at the last scroll and glances at his student.
The last techniques I'll be touching are the varieties. I call them varieties because they consist of several combination of other subjects. For example, a combination of close range and mid range Kaiten, a close kaiten that morphs into a gaint mountain crusher, more taijutsu esque aspect.
Now first I want to see you pick some technique and combine some of what you've learnt so far on my clones.
Last techniques? So they were nearing the end... As Priest spoke, Ryuu nodded his head to show he was listening. He couldn't wait to try out these variety techniques. Looking at the clones, the Hyūga then started to formulate a plan in his mind. Four of them eh?
Seeing the four clones standing besides each other, Ryuu gathered raw chakra at the tenketsu of both his palms. Focusing the chakra, he charged forward at the four clones. As he did this, he brought his hands a little close to each other, and released the chakra as two large blasts. Because of the way he had angled his arms, all four of the clones were hit; two each from one blast, and they went opposite ways. Ryuu had also angled it in a way so that from the two clones that were hit by his right hand, one of them went further away than the other.

Description: A much stronger variant of the Eight Trigrams Empty Palm. It can be performed in 2 different ways: 2 gentle fist users attack alongside each other, using the normal Empty Palm technique, each sending a wave of chakra from their palms with great force, which combines into one huge single blunt burst of chakra or, by using both hands, the user is able to produce the same effect by using the Empty Palm technique twice, one for each hand at the same time. Similar to a large wind technique, this attack was strong enough to push back one of the arms of the Jubi and works by using the chakra to push the air outwards in a blunt wall-like blast.
Note: Can be used with a clone to make the second user.
Still running, Ryuu then stopped in front of the clone closer to him which had been hit by he right handed blast. Taking the Hakke stance, the boy channeled chakra to his fingers, before striking them upon the clone's tenketsu. He did not attack all the tenketsu though; only 128. This, however, was enough to injure it and make it disappear.

By this time, the other clones had come around him, closing in on him. In response, Ryuu gathered chakra at every single tenketsu in his body, releasing it from his chakra holes as a layer above his skin. He then rotated, creating a sphere of chakra around him. As this chakra made contact with the three remaining clones, they went flying, before dispersing like the first clone.
Instead of blasting the clones away, the blast would vanish as the clones absorb the impact into their paws. Then one of the clone vanishes in a blur, sudden appearing behind, while sweeping your legs off the ground. Should you be swept away, he would roll into the air, coming back down with a drop kick on your head. Should you defeat the first clone, the second would set out also in a blur, this time appearing to your left side depending on your current body placement. Pivoting on his right foot, he would throw his left kick upwards towards your chin, sending you into the air and dazed. He would shadow appear behind you with his blades drawn and cut a x shaped gash on your back. Should the 2nd clone be defeated, the 3rd clone would first put you in a c-rank paralysing genjutsu before running towards you with a katanna drawn. He would blitz past your position but you are already cut if he is successful. The fourth would only react of you happen to defeat the third clone. He would first of infuse his skin with earth chakra to the extent that his skin looks dark and hard as steel(B-rank Earth jutsu), then he would detonate a flash bang behind him to blind you while escaping into the sky. He would come back down with a drilling kick on your head.
What the student need to do is quite simple. Defeat the 4 attackers with the techniques posted in no definite order. He might even combine the moves with any other jyuken he had learnt or any jutsu different from jyuken that is suitable in the situation.
Priest unravels a scroll containing the miscellaneous, while using telepathy to imprint the instructions in the student's brain.

The first two are not that strong nor are they lethal but when used at the right time, they can prove useful in setting up for higher offense. One is able to use this to defend parry and follow up with offense which can be interconnected with other jyuken offensives. I won't tell you which to use on which opponent. Its up to you to come up with a good plan.

The next four are a blend of Hakke and Air palm. You remember hitting the tenketsus, closing them? Apparently, one can also continuously pump tenketsus with chakra and make them burst making it hard to open again unless when heals. Imagine now pumping vital organs with chakra until they burst. They are medium tier techniques aimed to distract, paralyse and set up for the finishing move.

Priest sits down with a bowl of popcorn, ready to watch what goes on.
Just when he thought his chakra would blast the clones away, Ryuu noticed that the chakra was instead absorbed by them. Hm, strange. There wasn't exactly enough time to think about it though, because before he knew it, one of the clones had disappeared. Tracking it with his Byakugan, Ryuu saw that it had come up behind him, and was trying to sweep him off the floor. Meanwhile, the boy had received instructions for a lot of techniques via telepathy. There were a lot, and Ryuu had to go through all of them to decide which ones would suit the current situation best.
In response to the clone trying to sweep him off the floor, Ryuu jumped high into the air. As he descended, he gathered chakra in his palms. In his mind, he pictured himself slamming his palms consecutively upon the clone once in short range. However, his plan was ruined as when he came into short range, the clone managed to dodge his palms and instead grabbed Ryuu by the chest. But, not letting the clone throw him into the air and strike him with its palm, Ryuu, whilst being held by the clone, lashed out his right foot, kicking the clone's left knee. The pain caused it to cease contact with Ryuu, who then went on to kick it twice on its face, sending it into air above. Jumping up after the clone, Ryuu then went above the clone, and started striking its vital organs whilst still in the air. Soon enough, chakra from within the clones body burst out from his back in the form of a small thin beam of chakra that quickly became larger, damaging the clone. The clone then disappeared, and Ryuu landed on the ground. However, he could feel some damage on his own body with that last attack.

As soon as he landed on the ground though, another clone took action, appearing at the left side of Ryuu. As the clone tried to kick him, Ryuu simply stopped the leg with his right arm, and with his left arm, he gathered chakra in his palm, slamming it into the clones chest. The chakra that was inserted into its body caused internal damage and also paralysed the clone. To follow up, Ryuu placed his palm upon the paralysed clone again, sending a large amount of chakra through. This time, a large sphere of chakra formed, going through the clone's body and damaging its organs. Unable to take it, it too poofed away.

Once the second clone was taken care of, Ryuu immediately felt his body was paralysed. He was sure he had not performed any techniques on himself. Checking his chakra flow with his Byakugan, he saw that he was in a genjutsu. Gathering chakra at all the chakra holes on his body, he expelled chakra out from them as a big burst, allowing him to be freed from the genjutsu. He noticed then that the third clone was rushing towards him with a sword. Thinking fast, Ryuu grabbed the clone's outstretched arm, and turned the clone around so that its back faced him. Ryuu then striked it on its back thrice, sending it flying into the air. Following the clone up, the Hyūga gathered chakra at his fingers and started striking the clone continuously at a high speed, before charging the chakra into his hands and releasing it as a burst of chakra. This knocked the clone away, and it too disappeared.

Once again, when Ryuu landed on the ground, another clone attacked. However, this was the last one and it used an earth technique to make its body hard as steel and dark in colour. As Ryuu realised that it was throwing a flash bomb, he quickly closed his eyes to escape being blinded, although he could still see things through his Byakugan. The clone had gone above him. Opening his eyes, Ryuu gathered chakra around both his fists, manipulating them into the shape of two lions. He then aimed these above in a spinning motion to the clone which was descending. However, the clone saw what was coming and gathered so much chakra at his hands that they turned white. Skipping the swiping part, the clone quickly brought together both his palms, causing a large explosion. But since the lions had advanced chakra manipulation, they were not completely repelled and managed to strike the clone, although much weaker. As the slightly injured clone landed back on the ground, Ryuu dashed towards it and started to strike its body from all angles. Charging chakra in his palms one last time, the boy then jumped in front of the dazed clone and striked it in its chest, draining its chakra away. Of course, the clone disappeared.

Just got some questions. With Eight Trigrams Spirit Palm, I don't really get why it says we have to strike the opponent after sending them flying? I mean, we will only be putting the opponent out of short range if we do that lol.
And with Gentle Fist Style: White Spirit, is the burst that is released done from clapping the hands together, or are we supposed to slam our palm onto the opponent?
Priest was quite impressed with the movie that he increased the pace at which he eats the popcorn. At the end, its the student standing and all his clones were gone. He saw the student collapse on the floor but still breathing. That may be due to exhaustion or over exertion of chakra but he'll surely be okay. Speaking of being okay, he asked him a question and then he'll answer him.
For the first question, see it as throwing a volley ball upwards and then jumping towards it to perform a spike. You throw the target into the air then you follow up to hit them. Yes, a drawback is if the opponent is fast enough, he could react inbetween the throw and follow up attack.
For the second, you release the burst from your pam like empty/air palms Hakke.
I will now entertain more question concerning everything you've learnt and byakugan in general.
Mind you, I tested you with the flash bang and you scaled through. Flash bangs don't blind the byakugan.
Priest checks the bowl and the popcorn is all gone. He frowns his face and throws the bowl away.
Ryuu listened to the answers from his teacher, and nodded his head to show he understood now. When Priest asked if he had any more questions, Ryuu took out his notebook.
Well I don't have any more questions regarding the techniques as I already asked them along the way. But with the Byakugan, when you say that flash bombs don't blind it, does that mean that I can keep my eyes open and not have to close them? Also, when the eyes are closed, the Byakugan can still see perfectly right?
Ryuu then got up and walked over to his teacher so he could read what he wrote, and smiled at the comical sight of Priest finding out his popcorn was finished.
Priest would see Ryuu bringing a note towards him. He suppresses his desire for popcorns and read what he brought to him.
I don't think Byakugan can be blinded even if the eyes is wide open. This is due to its ability to see through matter and energy. For the second question. Not sure the mixed response I get from google but it seems when you close your eyelids, you shut that any visual response to the brain. So it seems you are looking at your eyelids but what you see is just darkness. Sometimes you see streaks of light depending on what your eyes are subjected to before closing them. You may confirm this from others as I'm not totally sure but I would say no.
If you keep your eyes closed against a sharingan, if the eyes are still functioning, then I believe the sharingan should be able to pierce through the thin layer of the eyelid and still cast the genjutsu, but it does not work that way. This means, the visual functions and receptors are not active. Thus if the visual receptors are not active, I don't see why you should be able to see through the byakugan.
Like I said, it'be good you confirm this theory from LOK or any mod to be totally sure, as it might go both ways.
Priest would stand up dusting his clothe after the completion of the training. He would call it a day.
Go and enjoy the perks of byakugan. Develop it through fights and all and after one month, you get to activate the byakugan without spending a move.
As Priest answered his questions for him, Ryuu realised that the lesson had ended. A bit excited, he nodded to his teacher before running off back to the Hyūga complex. He was itching to show his clan his new found skills. But before he left, he stopped and turned around, then wrote in his notebook a big "Thank you!" and showed it to Priest, before disappearing.
