Well, I've seen many people claiming that the Juubi is the power of the Rinnegan, since a Rinnegan user can summon the Gedo Mazo where the Bijus are sealed in.

This is all in all wrong. The Rinnegan is able to summon the statue of Gedo Mazo, able to ban away the Chakra of Bijus and to use their power in an actual fight. This counts only for the Gedo Mazo which is not in the possession of all Biju, because an incomplete Gedo Mazo stays the summoning of the Rinnegan with the Bijus which are banned inside of it.

But when Gedo Mazo becomes complete, Juubis awakening starts, as seen in the first pages of the recent chapters. Right after its reviving Tobi plans to seal it inside himself in order to become its Jinchuriki. But once the Juubi is awakened, nobody is controlling it. Kurama described Juubis awakening also as the end of the world, since it isn't the Rinnegans summon in form of a statue which only holds the Bijus chakra anymore.

This is mostly stuff we already knew, but the end is a theory. I kinda like it. We'll see.

It's a theory. Not a bad theory, not bad at all. I kinda agree

It could have no tails because it doesn't have the Bijuu's chakra. You can't deny the fact that the Gedo Mazo's body and the Juubi's body look similar.

I think I see what you're getting at, here. The Gedo is a summon, and under the control of its summoner. But once it has acquired the necessary chakras, and becomes the juubi, it is no longer under control. Right?

Could be true... Not sure I agree though. But, we will probably see in the next few chapters whether or not Tobi can keep it tamed.

Some things dont really add up with the Gezo. First of all, what the hell is it? Where did it come from? We know nothing about its origins. Why/how it steals human souls. Why/how it is able to absorb the Biju chakras.

So6P went to great lengths to defeat, seal, and all but destroy (separate) the Juubi, so why would he allow it to ever be restored to its original state? Why is there a special summon for just such a thing?

Actually, thinking about it, the Gedo could be the original body of the Juubi. As far as we know, it was sealed within the moon, so it could just be summoned from there. But again, why would such a summon exist? And why would it be classified as s summon of the outerpath specifically?
