When you reach the Nami arc, you should watch the "nami special". It's a remake of that arc but in much higher quality ^^

In other words, after you finish the arc at the floating restaurant o-o

I disagree completely the one piece subbed voice acting is fantastic and sometimes will send shivers down your spine. Also the action in the anime is alot easier to follow than the manga Id imagine. Looking back to moments in episodes like when Robin declared she wanted to go to sea with luffy were fantastic.

He is a badass, and is the most mysterious character we know.

one piece becomes better than naruto during the war anime start at about 450. it lags a bit during the character development but its ok at some points but sometimes you will think fillers until the war.

I have watched OP late this march,I catch up up to the end of fishman arc this May,not to mention I have watched fillers.

you can easily do it in a month or two, and it beeing long is good, when you catch up you wish there was more

also yes manga is awesome and you should read it and treat it as the primary source but theres just something special seeing it animated with those amazing voiceactors and the music ... also you can follow fights much easier

and Im not really botheres by the pacing, I mean some parts could go faster but I don't really care

A good tip is to not rush through the episodes, you'll regret it when you have caught up and have to wait a week to see a new episode. Dont skip the filler, they are funny and cool.
