Very good movie indeed. My only pet peeve is that the antagonists of the movie were meh, not really well thought out. The villain was just kind of boring. The movie really explained Naruto and his bond between his son, or his family in general, though. Because even though Naruto was busy he still cared, Boruto thinking he came from a powerhouse family (which he did) and that everything will be given to him, he thought wrong and followed in Naruto's footsteps by having the strength to continue pushing onward and to stride for success, not cheat his way through.

I also hope he actually doesn't become Hokage, does something different than Naruto, and am I not the only one who wouldn't mind Sarada becoming Hokage? These are my own opinions and they are meh, but I recommend watching the movie.

I was also in a packed theater in NC. I live on Camp Lejeune and the nearest theater is off base in Jacksonville and it's a small town but damn, the only seats not take was half of the front row.

If you have time and money go watch it.

I agree that Sarada should become Hokage, she'd be the first Uchiha to become one. I plan on seeing the movie soon =P

Boruto said it himself, he doesn't have to follow the same path as his father or Grandfather. He's going to walk down a path different from them.

He'll be a shinobi like Sasuke

More or less what he was saying.

But yeah I support Sarada for Hokage.

Sasuke isn't even a legit konoha shinobi, but shinobi in general.

I think that's why he gets to travel to other dimensions and stuff and not be considered entirely rouge but a leaf ninja as well

I'm down for Sarada becoming Hokage. It also seems fitting since she would be the first Uchiha to become Hokage.

Your right though.

He's like a semi shinobi, he's a shinobi of the leaf but at the same time he accepts what he has done and knows he can never fully be a shinobi of the village? I don't know.

I just remember reading it somewhere on Sasuke's profile that it said something of the lines of being a wanderer when it came to occupation. Though I'm just going to classify it as more of Jiraiya's line of duty. Cause they both do the same thing, gathering intel and doing the work no one wants to do in the dark side of things.

I also saw it tonight and really enjoyed it! wonder why theres so few showings here in the states. it was also packed where I saw it luckily I knew it would be like that so I got there early enough to get perfect seets. it was forshadowed in the movie sarada would be hokage and boruto would be her right hand man, and probably lover based on the look sarada made, but who knows. I hope they come out with a part three or at least a few new movies.

Totally fine with Sarada becoming Hokage, it would nice to see a female Uchiha being hokage. The same for Boruto, don't mind him taking the same route as Sasuke, just not let him leave and never come back for 10 years.

The theater I went to was almost packed as well. There were probably a few seats open, but the experience was amazing.

I too saw Boruto the Naruto Movie tonight, and I must say it was a great movie too. Comedy was a stand out. I can’t count the number of times I busted out a loud laugh in the theatre. Honestly, the movie was already made great thanks to the well-thought-out comedy. Anything else was just added bonus, really.

The action scenes were amazing and well choreographed. From the small, strategic Chunnin Exam battles to the explosive Super Saiyan-like fight between the protagonists and villains, there was always entertainment for those who enjoyed action more than storyline. Even storyline lovers will enjoy this movie too. The movie stressed out important moral lessons and themes that gave depth to the plot and made it really interesting. It provided a sense of realism to which the audience can somewhat relate to.

I felt Boruto’s character development was nicely executed. It wasn’t rushed; his maturity grew as he starts to realise how important his father is to the village (regarding the Hokage position) and his very own family. That final scene of Naruto and Boruto fist-bumping each other with their bandaged arms was a perfect way to end the movie. It highlighted their acknowledgement and mutual understanding of their different paths. I’m really glad Boruto has chosen a path similar to Sasuke’s one (a Hokage acting from the outskirts of the village) as that path fits him more. I also agree that Sarada should become the next Hokage as her intelligence, maturity and wisdom would make her a suitable candidate for that position (and it's about time we get an Uchiha Hokage already, lol).

Overall, I'd give this movie a 9/10 easily. I found it much more enjoyable than The Last. Plus, we got more screentime of Sasuke and we actually get to see the peak of his entire character development in this movie. It’s really astonishing to see how far he has grown and matured from his vengeful and criminal past. He’s a true gentleman now.

Like Sasuke, he was one of the few shinobi who got shit done. Died like a badass too.

Ture that!

I can't help but to notice J-man lost his arm as well .. tragic.
