It's not particularly the difference in opinion, but rather the ability to determine what makes a character good or bad. I guess it's a little easy for me as I can be a tad bit pessimistic. That means I can tend to concentrate on more cons than the pros, so I can safely tell you that Sasuke has many cons. His personality, intelligence and character development are worse than Itachi's and he's even more annoying than Sakura, in all honesty. I can even compare another character from a different manga such as HxH and grab someone like Kurapika and say that he is a better version of Sasuke.



You know it's a good point you raised and I thank you for that. I'm beginning to think where Kishi is going with this. Maybe he wants us to loathe Sasuke and to develop a little anger towards him because that's what one would do to a parent who has neglected their child. I believe that Kishi might be doing this on purpose and he might have been influenced by many children who are single parented. :yeah:

Still just your opinion :| Personally there were many times where I found Sasuke's actions questionable, or disliked his conduct, but overall I found him interesting and most of his choices realistic, that is y i enjoyed his character. I know that me saying i enjoyed it is a matter of taste, but in order to enjoy Sasuke's character u have to sympathize, sympathizing involves understanding, that is not really something that a lot of ppl are willing to do (too much thought involved) when u can simply label that character a jerk and and find more amiable qualities in other characters.

That's a misunderstanding. A manga fan is a supporter of fictional manga who can accept and acknowledge pieces of writing and description regarding a character, whether it is good or bad. A fanboy is a trollish fan who doesn't acknowledge legit manga facts and starts to constantly wank over his fave regardless of anything. That's the difference. :hmm:

Everyone and their mother knows that was just a cliffhanger and there is more to it then appears, so I'd say wait out for the next chapter before deciding anything about that fictional character.

Sharingan genjutsu would've been a better cliffhanger though, since it's something new in the Naruto Gaiden series. :yeah:

If u want my thought on this chapter then i think that Kishi forced a dramatic situation. Sasuke was just attacked, by someone using his clan's eyes and wearing his clan's crest. That is the kind of thing that would seriously get to Sasuke. Sasuke hasn't seen his daughter in 12 years so it would make sense that he wouldn't be thinking about what she'd looked like now. But Kishi had her awaken Sharingan just so Sasuke would mistaken as being one of Shin's cohorts.

The last thing on Sasuke's mind, or anyone else's in this situation would be that their daughter, who should be all the way back in konoha would be in that god forsaken wasteland that Sasuke was sure that even his enemies would have a hard time finding

I get y ppl would dislike Sasuke for not seeing his daughter after so long, but what happened in this latest chapter could only be described as the most unfortunate of coincidences.

Sasuke should've been replaced with someone like Itachi or Shisui. Those guys probably would've made much better deuteragonists. I think what berserker is talking about is what Sasuke has been doing all this time, but someone already hit on that. Even though Sasuke's missions may be important it shouldn't be too much that he comes back home ever once in a while. I don't think there is an excuse for total absence for twelve years
