It really depends on why you didn't get into nursing school on the first try. If your grades aren't good enough, you could consider retaking some courses, but it depends on how many courses you need to retake. If you have to retake more than a year's worth of classes, nursing might not be the field for you. As far as the cost goes, you can always find scholarship money if you try hard enough.

There are a number of other reasons you might not get in including lack of real world experience, poor performance on a required nursing school entrance exam, or lack of strong recommendation letters. For a good idea of everything you need to get in, see

My current GPA is high but they only accept 60 students a semester and there could always be someone better. They tell us that it's not uncommon to be perfectly qualified but still not get in because of lack of space. If I don't get in then there's nothing more I can do except retake courses I got a B in to try and get an A. Also, my university doesn't accept letters of recommendation, there's no interview process, we are only judged on a point system that is scored based on GPA and other factors (retakes lose points, courses not taken there lose points).

I understand about not getting in regardless of your credentials. I recently went through the process of grad school applications. I got accepted to seven of the nine schools I applied to. The two I got rejected from said my credentials were fine, but that they had already accepted others that suited their wants better.

How many semesters you retake really depends on how badly you want to be a nurse. I would suggest that, like me with grad schools, you apply to more than one program. That will increase your odds of getting in the first try. Also, I understand that most scholarships only cover four years, but you can get other additional scholarships from a variety of sources at most institutions to cover a fifth year. As a tip, in addition to retaking courses, you could also consider taking new courses to add an applicable minor to your degree. That may help you get into a nursing program.

Well, if someone makes another questions thread, I really won't care. Other people have made questions threads in chatterbox. I wasn't even the first to do so. I've just been the most prolific.

It's an optical illusion aided by the speed of the GIF. I saw a similar thing where it was presented as a math problem and the sections were color coded sections of a graph. They misrepresent the angle and size of the shapes to make it appear different than it actually is.

Numerous members in the past have pretended to be female and have been found out. They naturally suspect you of doing the same. The large majority of members are male, so females are an anomaly.

I remember one member posted a picture of a girl in a thread, said that it was "her", and asked how "she" looked. I Google searched the image and found numerous copies of it on various websites, indicating that it wasn't him.
