Dude I'm in episode 18-19 it got kinda wack ... I stopped watching , light-to is awesome tough .
Knew light was kira? Light was indeed L primary suspect but on no occasions did L confirm that he was 100 percent sure that light was kira he never did,so that statement of yours is deemed irrelevant and despite getting a hold of the notebook, light still found a way to maneuver himself out of it yet again, he manipulated amane death God by pure mind games which is also a testament to his knowledge and deception, to kill L forcing him to kill himself along too, you mentioned light having 5 people from the japanese police force in support of him or was that a typo, if so care to name who and how? Also if dumb luck means convincing naomi an ex fbi agent with intelligence, to not only give up her name but that he was somehow working with his dad on the case and she went along with it, light played on her emotions and used it against her, thats the simple fact, Light saw the bigger picture and was able to plan ahead by giving up his rights to the notebook knowing that he would later retrieve and kill l, you say he didnt outsmart l or win against him right? So how died? Whos name did rem right on the notebook to kill? Who finally before the appearance of [Near and mello] proved his innocence to the police through the fake rules? I think we all know the answer to that dont we? L demise came at the hands of light yagami therefore he lost to light yagami, and light demise came at the hands of near and mello thats the hard core fact. No, Light had 5 people from Japanese task force and neither of them were anywhere near the level L, Light, Near or Mello. They were just simple detectives. Hell, if it wasn't for his dumb luck, Light would have lost to Naomi Misora (Raye Penber's fiancee).
You're saying it like it was as easy as pissing on your finger. Light wasn't just some "dorky teenager", he was easily one of the smartest humans in the world. A natural genius. L started from NOTHING and had to work against supernatural powers that he knew nothing about. Despite all that, he still cornered Kira and would have captured him if only he had more time. In fact, he knew Light was Kira from the very beginning, he just didn't have definite proof. At one point he obtained it, but then Light pulled that amnesia and "victim of the Kira" crap. That was a small setback and in the end L still found a way to prove that Light is Kira, but he ran out of time. You can't really say Light won, when the guy had two friggin gods of death on his side, whom he forced to lie and even falsify the rules in the book.
L didn't lose to Light, he lost to magic. Plain and simple. He knew Light was Kira and he knew Light would kill him. There was just nothing he could do against magic. He already prolonged his death as long as possible by outsmarting Light from the very beginning. L was on the offensive, Light was on the defensive. He only won due to the fact that he had a major head start over L.
Yeah, Mello was the catalyst but in the end Mello and near through their combined efforts outsmarted light, that's it. "Redemption before dying" in what manner? No, the ending's perfect as it is. Light wanted to create an ideal world without crime, however the more he used Death Note the more he got obsessed with power, in the end it's just like Near said ''You're just a serial killer with a god complex''. Light was way beyond saving, L's death had the most impact on Light's psychological state, it basically awakened Light's ''inner side'', but what makes his development great is his redemption before dying. The story has much deeper meaning than just winning or losing.
Also, Near never outsmarted Light, the key character in the big event was Mello. If he hadn't taken the risk of kidnapping Takada, Mikami wouldn't have gone to the real Death Note revealing Light's plan.
Look, had L known everything that Light knew about the Death Note and Shinigami, Light would have been captured at a snap of L's fingers. Light had supernatural powers and beings to assist him. He only won due to a incredibly unfair advantages over L and everyone else.Knew light was kira? I don't get the first bit, have you only read the manga so far? And like it would seem as thought the creator of the death note agrees with the ideas of light in the anime. Which could make him look slightly crazy in real life, like he would do the same thing if he could.. ;oThanks, im starting the anime this week along with hunter x hunter, i only hope that the fan service is reduced and its unpredictable. A more better scenarios which the write of death note failed too do, was the two parties kira meaning light dying along with near. That would have been more fitting as they neither caught light and light didnt win.
The "anime was a reality" what are you saying?:|
Light losing the inner side of him(aka KIRA-Light), to understand it fully you just need to pay attention to the final scene:Yeah, Mello was the catalyst but in the end Mello and near through their combined efforts outsmarted light, that's it. "Redemption before dying" in what manner?
Whether Light had more advantages or not, he's still more intelligence than L and so is Near. You can check out the intelligence stats in Death Note chapter ''How to read?''(Made by authors)You can't say that Light outsmarted L when he had so many unfair advantages over him. It's like if they played chess and L would start with just pawns and a king, whereas Light would have all 16 pieces on his side of the board. Can you call that a fair win?
This is true, I just opened up the book and here are the stats.Whether Light had more advantages or not, he's still more intelligence than L and so is Near. You can check out the intelligence stats in Death Note chapter ''How to read?''(Made by authors)
