They did NOT re-boot the series we know. Why would you think that? That's retarded. They re-booted the original that's why it has the AMAZING in the title since it's from the AMAZING-Universe, something that actually is Spider-Man because I never recalled that Spider-Man was able to shoot web out of his ACTUAL wrists. The old movies sucked anyway compared to this one.

And yes I would recommend it.
