So I've been reading the posts and threads about post kishi and were naruto would be if he suddenly dropped dead *knock on wood* and it kinda bugs me that people actually believe that he has written down the whole series like some supposed will or something..?? Really??!! let me put it like this-- Maybe he may have a few episodes written down already, but he does not have the full series written down. Lets look for example at our beloved writer of the amazing DBZ journey! Akira Toriyama, while not dead killed off the series because he did not know how to end it. he even had plans for dragonball AF but they were unfinished plans and while others tried to pick up the series it was not even close to the creators design.

My point is that people need to stop fantasizing that Kishi has it all figured out because no writer ever does. Give the man his due and give him a break and for the love of god just enjoy the series and he diligently brings it to you!!!

Any comments ?? Any takers??? no FLAMERS or TROLLS mkay!!!!!

Dude, Kishi himself said that he has Naruto's ending planned out in his head, and he's not gonna change it. Forget Shikamaru, this guy is the BOSS at planning ahead!

^This. Additionally, you're not giving him credit by saying he doesn't have it figured out.

As far as him having written out the general backbone of his story for others to continue if he dies, it's entirely possible. Take for instance Frank Herbert, creater of Dune. He wrote four of the greatest sci-fi novels ever and they stand alone as a series. However, he had plans to make more before he died. His son, along with a literary analyst, took his notes and continued his father's story in a style the closely mimics the originals.

I never said he doesnt have it figured out I stated that he did not finish the writings or the concepts for the story. And while you have a good example based on the dune theory, not every pickup or reenactment succeeds.

I think they Asimov did the same thing. He had notes for several more books and his family had some of those finished.
