Arriving at the designated battle field, Tiashe saw an individual nearby. That must be him. The man Tiashe was ordered to fight by his superiors. He didn't know why though; perhaps this man was a criminal? Or maybe his village just wanted to test his strength? Passively activating his sensory ability, Tiashe sighed. He really did prefer not to harm others, but at this point, he didn't have much of a choice, as him being allowed to rise in rank meant defeating enemies to show his strength. Scratching the back of his head, the emerald eyed boy wondered what lay beneath that red, body-covering suit his opponent wore.

Description: This is a very advanced of advancing the ability to feel and sense chakra. The technique allows the user to concentrate and detect someone's chakra. Users can use this to determine the nature of a jutsu used as well as sense masses of chakra. The use of this can be compared to Sharingan's brutish level of sensory, able to sense collection of chakra but not the level of clarity and precision Byakugan has.

Note: Can only be used by bios with Sensory ability.
Note: After having on a bio for 1 month, users gain the ability to activate Sensory passively.

Performing one hand seal, Tiashe trapped the opponent in an illusion where he would see numerous butterflies approaching him, although they were explosive tags. Landing on The Red Death, the butterflies (tags) would plaster themselves on to him. Then the man would feel like he was sinking into the ground, making him immobilised. This allowed Tiashe to throw one more explosive tag on his foe, this time on his forehead, before detonating all the tags simultaneously. Since they covered his body, he would most likely die. That was Tiashe's philosophy. If he couldn't avoid a fight, then he would at least try to give his opponent a quick and painless death.

Description: The user makes one handseal, placing the opponent in a genjutsu. The user then tosses a large number of explosive tags at the opponent. To the opponent, it looks as if they are countless butterflies. The opponent then believes they are sinking into the ground, in reality making them immobilized; this allows the user to place one final exploding tag on their forehead before detonating all the tags simultaneously.

Arriving at the location where he heard someone was looking for him, Red Death would perform a sequence of hand signs just before briefly glanced over the terrain. To his surprise he actually saw someone rather young not too far off.

(Dōjutsu: Byakugan) Eye Technique: The All Seeing White Eye

Description:
One of the Three Great Dōjutsu (San Daidōjutsu), the Byakugan is the dōjutsu kekkei genkai of the Hyūga and Ōtsutsuki clans, inherited from Kaguya Ōtsutsuki. Bearers of this Dõjutsu have almost featureless white eyes. When the Byakugan is activated, the user's pupils become more distinct, and the veins near their temples bulge as the blood flow to their eyes is increased. While having the Byakugan deactivated, shinobi with have a normal eyesight and no special addition to their vision. While low rank Hyugas will need to perform a sequence of hand seals ( Horse → Tiger with lifting just index fingers → Boar with nearly straightened fingers → Hare → Rat → Dog → Horse → Dog → Hare → Rat → Boar with nearly straightened fingers → Snake with the right index finger lifted straight up) to activate their Byakugan, Hyuga masters and Otsutsuki clan members will be able to do so without the need for any hand seals and even have it active passively for long periods of time. Once activated, the user gains access to all of the abilities the Byakugan bestows upon them. While, like other Dojutsu, its main ability is to see chakra and the chakra flow in sentient beings, the Byakugan adds a complete new detail and dimension to that ability. Not only can they see chakra flow, but also the circulatory system and even the 361 tenketsu (even of their own). Added to this ability, once activated the Byakugan grants the user a near perfect field of vision 360º around himself (up to long-range if they're a master). This field of vision has only one blind spot; slightly above the 3rd thoracic vertebrae and facing backwards. The last ability the Byakugan has is the ability to zoom in and out, focusing on specific things, piercing beyond matter and energy alike. This specific ability allows the user to see pass most barriers as well as physical matter (like rock walls, ground, etc) but also energy, being able to focus beyond chakra that might be in front of them or other energies. The zooming ability is enhanced as the user becomes more adept at using his eyes and can even reach distances above 20kms away.
Note: For Hyugas, activation spends a move from the users own move count but once the user reaches Sannin Rank and has gained mastery over Gentle Fist for 1 month, he can activate it passively without spending a move. Because of its low chakra cost to maintain, the user can keep it active throughout the whole fight as long as he has chakra and stamina to do so.
Note: Genjutsu that requires Eye Contact when used against a Byakugan user requires direct eye contact between enemy pupil and user's pupil
Note: Hyugas must be activated to use Gentle Fist (Jyuken)
Note: Its tracking abilities are equal to that of 3 Tomoe Sharingan.

Moments after, Red Death would quietly hear the boy say "Hey" just before he proceeded with a single hand seal. In conjunction to his move, Red Death would notice instantly afterwards that a swarm of what looked like butterflies were heading towards him as well as what appeared as his feet sinking into the ground. This brought suspicions to him, his opponent spontaneously summoning a swarm of butterflies which would appear in a moments notice in correlation with him being restricted in his movement to evade them. Having a hunch he would've checked his chakra flow within his body to notice an irregularity to it. Deducing from his observation with his byakugan he knew he was within a genjutsu. In a moments notice, he would move his left hand to his back where he had a ninja pouch and stuck his hand within it, grabbing onto the first item to come into his hand, a shuriken. He would lift it out of his pouch, and immediately after stab it into his thigh. Giving it that quick and needed sensation of pain and blood dripping down his thigh, this would snap the irregularity within his chakra system as well as the genjutsu. However despite being out of the genjutsu, the swarm of butterflies he thought he saw were actually a swarm of explosive tags. Smirking a bit, he'd gather some Futon chakra within his body which he would then release as a wall of spinning wind that would make its way to the incoming wave of explosive tags. Making contact with them, it would cause a series of explosions to occur between the two. Appearing as if a light show was being held for the personal amusement of the two.

Description: User creates a wall of spinning wind in front of him that is used to push back weapons thrown towards him. It can also be used against taijutsu close range attacks, but the wall can be pushed back with a stronger wind jutsu or if a smoke bomb or explosive tag touches the spinning wind they will automatically get activated because of the sharpness of the wind element, damaging the user also.

It seemed that the man could release himself from a Genjutsu. Listening to Red Death talk, Tiashe paused briefly, looking up to the sky. Using his chakra, he started to make it snow onto the field. Returning his gaze back onto his opponent, the Yuki spoke.

Don’t you think this looks so much prettier than fireworks anyway? I shall show you a glimpse of my homeland now…

(Hyouton no Jutsu) Ice Release Technique

Description: The user can use this jutsu to make it begin to snow down on the terrain, or, much like the “Earth Style Technique” the user can make small pillars or shields of pre-existing ice or make it materialize. If this is used to make snow, then after 3 to 4 turns most of the terrain will be covered.

Snapping out of his passive state, Tiashe decided to attack the man again. Gathering chakra within his body, he expelled several water needles from his mouth, shooting them towards his foe at a high velocity. He made sure to aim them at the vital spots on the body.

As the boy took a moment to glance upwards at the sky, Red Death would take the opportunity to begin running towards the boy. Upon these initial steps being taken, the boy spoke a few words just before his expression changed. He's ready to take the fight seriously now, as Red Death thought to himself. With his footwork accelerating, the distance between the two started to close, reaching 12m. His eyes being vigilant, he would notice that the boy started to accumulate chakra within the atmosphere to make it snow, as well as have an abundance of chakra formulating within his mouth. Moments after he would shoot out what appeared as liquefied water needles. Red Death would respond by gathering his lightning chakra with his right hand. Swinging his right hand however, much like he was throwing a kunai, he would launch electrical senbon which would come in contact with the boys water senbon, reaching a stalemate.

Description: The user reshapes the Chidori in their hand into the form of countless senbon which are shot with a simple hand movement towards the target. The senbons are extremely precise and have the same numbing and paralyzing effects as Chidori, carrying enormous speed. Because the technique requires no handseals and is done with simple hand movements, its extremely hard to avoid while in short range and quite dangerous to counter due to the precision attacks it can be used to perform.

What's the rush kid? Are you starting to get nervous!? As Red Death spoke as he was now on a full-on sprint, reaching 8m. Don't worry, I'll put you out of your misery!!

With those words being said, he would then decide to place the boy within an illusion. Snakes would emerge from underground, slithering their way across and around the boy, constricting his movements. Approaching the 5m mark, Red Death would give the command to have the snakes crush the boys bones, although in all reality the boy would just be immobilized as well as be taking mental damage from the stress alone.

(Genjutsu: Oshitsubusu Hebi Kubire) - Illusion Technique: Crushing Snake Constriction

Description: The user puts the opponent into a genjutsu which has snakes appear beneath the opponent to constrict them and with the users command, they crush the opponent. In reality, the opponent is immobilized and takes damage due to the stress on his mind.

Simultaneously upon giving the command, Red Death would raise his left hand, pointing his palm at the boy. He would release a burst of chakra which would crash into the boy's chest, sending him back 2m (would be 7m from RD now). The force would in all likeliness cause the boy to suffer slight lung damage, coughing up blood as he flew.

Me? Rush? You’re the one who’s running…

Whilst saying those words, Tiashe trapped Red Death in an illusion where he thought he was moving in a straight line towards Tiashe, but in reality he was traveling in circles. Whilst doing this, the boy hopped some steps backwards, returning the distance between the two back to mid range. It was not a good idea to be in close range with a Hyūga. Well, this would be entertaining to watch now.

(Kori Shinchū no Jutsu) - Sly Mind Affect Technique

Description: The user casts an illusion on the opponent that makes them believe they are travelling in a straight line, when instead they are moving in circles. This is only effective on moving opponents. If the opponent travels in the circle for hours, they will be exhausted.

Watching his foe hilariously run in circles, the Yuki channeled ice natured chakra to his mouth, before expelling a cluster of needles, shaped like swallows at the Hyūga. Even though the target was moving, these needles made contact with him, as they could redirect themselves. Of course, they would injure the running man, perhaps even releasing him from the illusion if he had not done so by that point.

(Hyouton: Tsubame Fubuki) Ice Release: Swallow Snow Storm

Description: The user will shoot out a cluster of needles, shaped like swallows, which will fly out toward their target with great speed. The swallows are unable to be dodged as they can change direction in mid-air, redirecting themselves to hit their target. This jutsu is also highly resistant to fire attacks, unable to be destroyed by fire jutsu unless it is higher than C ranked.

OOC: As discussed, we established the distances mentioned in the fore-mentioned posts. We also clarified that when Ryóma mentioned he jumped back to mid-range, he specifically jumped back from 8 meters to 12 meters (which was still mid-range)

Proceeding to run at his foe, RD had noticed that despite his attempt at trying to reach the boy, he wasn't making any progress at all. He was just running forward. Angrily realizing it, he knew he was once again trapped within another genjutsu. This time biting a chunk of his cheek, he'd release himself from the illusion. Taking a moment, he would gaze over the area to see that the boy managed to go a little further back in the meantime. With his all seeing white eyes, RD would witness once again the boys attempt at firing more needles, this time however, it would be ice in nature.

Red Death would mutter, Here we go with the needles again....such a nuisance.

With his left hand, RD would begin formulating an electrical discharge while simultaneously reaching for a kunai with an explosive tag attached with the right. Raising his left hand, he would unleash a series of lightning bolts that would collide with the ice swallows, completely destroying them. At the same time, with his right hand, RD would hurl the explosive tagged kunai in a diagonal fashion upwards towards the sky, which would soon enough ark its way back down, striking the boy's body, then blowing him up into pieces if not avoided.

(Raiton no Jutsu) - Lightning Release Technique

Description: The user will manipulate their chakra to create small bolts of lightning to attack their target.

Following up with his previous move, RD would spare no second, quickly performing 4 quick hand signs. His mouth swelling with super heated chakra, he would spew out an enormous amount of ash that would go traversing across the terrain, swallowing the boy whole. Being as it's ash, naturally it would be incredibly hot, giving the boy 3rd degree burns throughout his entire body, while depriving him of whatever vision he previously had on Red Death.

Boom, as Red Death said as he clicked his teeth together. The ash, igniting and erupting in a violent explosion, destroying the boys body in the process.

(Katon: Haisekishō) - Fire Release: Ash Pile Burning

Description: The user spews superheated ash from their mouth after performing four handseals. The ash is hot enough to cause third-degree burns on the victim. With the ground becoming increasingly covered in snow, Tiashe noticed the spike in his opponent’s chakra flow, signalling that he broke out of the illusion again. The Yuki’s ice needles were also defended against. Noticing a kunai being thrown upwards, Tiashe saw that it’s trajectory was aimed for him. In response, he hurled his own kunai at it in the same manner at his foe. The two collided, creating an explosion, before falling to the ground between them, all charred. At the same time, Tiashe gathered a large amount of water, which was sent towards Red Death in order to crash into him.

Just in case the man evaded that, the Yuki channeled chakra underneath his opponent, causing a jagged pillar of ice to rise up and trap him within it. This would injure the man, and also ensure that he could not escape.

Description: The user will rise up what seems like a jagged pillar of ice from the ground, encasing their opponent and freezing them in place. The user can also use this on themselves, encasing themselves in ice to defend them from jutsu. Being an ice user, however, the user will still be able to move their arms and legs fluently while in the ice.

Tiashe then looked up into the sky again, watching the snowflakes fall, slowly and gently. How they reminded him of his childhood…

Responding swiftly, the boy managed to deflect the kunai that was sent at him, causing it to explode mid-air and come crashing down. With Red Death's eyes, he was able to see that the boy simultaneously begun to gather a large quantity of water chakra, sending over a giant wave that would violently makes its way towards him. As the wave approached however, Red Death would detect that chakra beneath him was being accumulated. Noticing little ice particles formulating around him, he deduced that this is likely a response to what he'd do. Quickly placing his left arm back with his left palm facing the floor diagnoally, Red Death would release a burst of chakra from within his palm to shot himself high enough into the air in a diagonal fashion, safely avoiding the giant wave that was nearly there as well as avoiding what looked like an ice prison rising up.

Mid-air with his left arm back pushing him from 12m to 10m, Red Death would systematically thrust his right arm back with his right palm horizontally aimed away from his body. This would push him even further, getting him from 10m to 5m, descending slowly downwards from then on. Back to his left arm, he would extend his arm straight with his palm facing the boy, firing off a blast before switching back to his right arm, replicating the same sequence. The first shot would violently jerk the boy back, causing him to launch a meter back, falling onto the floor while sustaining chest and lung damage from the blunt force. The second shot would follow up immediately after, smashing the unfortunate soul further into the ground and completely collapsing his lungs in the process. He then starts to gargle on blood while not being able to breath....

Noticing his opponent thrusting himself into the air to avoid the attacks, Tiashe ceased to make the ice pillar rise up. Instead, he created a giant dragon made of black snow in front of him. This dragon easily blocked any attacks coming towards its creator, and also slammed into the Hyūga, injuring him as well as sending him smashing to the ground, back into mid range away from Tiashe.

Description: The user will make a giant ether-like dragon of black snow. The dragon is capable of turning while in mid-air, and is therefore very difficult to be dodged. If it hits the opponent successfully, they will be launched high into the air afterwards.

Once Red Death was on the ground at a safe distance away, the Yuki observed that the ground was now fully covered in snow. Placing his hands on the ground, Tiashe focused his chakra into it. The snow then started rolling forward, quickly forming a large ball of snow which went and rolled Red Death over, further injuring him.

As Red Death was slowly descending, he would see that the boy begun gathering chakra in front of himself. Emerging as a black ice dragon, he would use it to block the chakra bursts that were fired at the boy as well as use it to advance forward. Not backing down however, Red Death begun to form an electrical vortex around his body that would form into a dragon in of itself. The electrical dragon would make its way, colliding with the ice dragon, crushing it and continuing forward, striking the boy. He would then collapse onto the ground.

Description: The user forms a whirling vortex of electricity around themselves. The vortex will take on the form of a dragon’s head and will grow to then shoot forward and cover the area in front of them. Even if the attack doesn't directly connect with his foe, the lightning can jump from the vortex to hit a nearby target.

After descending onto ground level finally, 5m away from his victim, Red Death would begin his full on sprint on the collapsed boy. Deciding to put him out of his misery, or so he said, Red Death would thrust his right arm forward with his palm aimed at the unresponsive boy. A burst of chakra would emerge from the palm, consuming the boys body, eviscerating his internal organs in the process.

[Ryóma]

Unfortunately, the dragon’s usefulness was short-lived, as it was destroyed by a lightning attack. Tiashe thought the man would cower before the presence of a beast, but he was wrong. This was a brave opponent indeed. The weakened attack continued on to Tiashe, who countered it by swinging his hand in front of him, creating a wave of wind. The two attacks then clashed, nullifying each other.

Then, as soon as Red Death descended on to the snowy ground, the Yuki placed his hands on the ground, forming a giant wave of snow that would crash into and bury the running Hyūga.

In case he survived that, Tiashe knew he should keep his distance as Hyūga were dangerous in close range, and so he gathered particles in the air, changing them into three ice disks. One was directly underneath him, propelling him into the air at a height of ten metres, and the other two were by each of his side, ready to attack or defend for him.

Because of their transparency, the ice disks can be used as a large lens to focus rays of heat from the sun into a powerful beam to capable of melting or exploding a pinpointed area.

Swinging his arm, the boy managed to nullify the weakened lightning dragon that proceeded forward. As a counter move, the boy simultaneously placed his hands onto the floor just as Red Death landed. This would create a giant wave of snow that would make its way over. Quickly responding, Red Death would make a single hand sign by releasing his lightning chakra, proceeding to lift his hands up. In doing so, Red Death would generate a lightning wall that would protect him from the giant wave of snow, nullifying the two moves.

Immediately after the two moves dissipate, Red Death would weave a series of hand signs. Trapped within, he would constantly be struck by lightning bolts from the pillars, taking severe damage as well as becoming paralyzed within.

Observing as the enemy evaded yet another one of his attacks, Tiashe wondered how long this would continue for.

Just how long are you going to keep this up? You know the terrain is not advantageous for you right?

As he said that, Tiashe swung his right arm upwards, causing a powerful vortex of water to form around his opponent. Red Death would find himself being flown upwards into the air. As the man reached a peak of around ten metres into the air, Tiashe dispelled the water with another wave of his arm, allowing his limp opponent to fall.

Description: Similar to the original, weaker technique, the Greater Ice technique allows the user to, by making a simple hand seal (Ram) produce walls, pillars, etc of snow or ice. The ice constructs are rather simple in nature but resilient and strong, with the user being able to materialize them anywhere short range (though from that point they can grow up to long range) from him from the moisture in the air. He can, however, use any proportional water source within short-long range of him to produce said constructs. These can also be directed and propelled as projectiles towards targets. In both cases, the size and possible uses are limited only by the users will, chakra and skill. It also allows the user to cool down existing moisture in the high atmosphere to bring down a snow storm, similar to the original technique yet stronger and faster acting. This snow storm will not directly harm anyone but is useful to cover the field in snow rather quickly (2 turns) and to hinder visibility, sense of touch and hearing on anyone caught inside. The user is not immune to these effects though and must spend 15 chakra points per turn to sustain the blizzard, while becoming unable to mold other elements than Water, Wind or Ice.

I plan on fighting until the very end, and the end isn't going to come easy, at least not for me! As Red Death would say to the boy. With the aid of his Byakugan, RD would see a vortex of water formulating around him. Forming two hand seals, he would gather his wind chakra and compress air between himself and the vortex of water around him. Thinning it out, he would use the jet stream of the compressed air to help propel himself up and out of the grasp of the watery vortex before anything else could commence.

Once the technique is compressed, a jet line stream of air is created on the convergence point, shooting around the top of the technique. At the point that the technique comes into contact with the user, they can then use this stream to propel themselves up and over the technique, avoiding it entirely.

Watching the man escape his technique by going upwards, Tiashe laughed inwardly, as his technique was originally going to send him up. As Red Death ascended, Tiashe sent wind chakra into the sky, darkening the clouds and making the environment stormy. A tornado was then created, coming down onto the Hyūga as a large tornado with slicing winds. This would of course damage him, and make him start falling.

Storm clouds started to emerge in the sky above Red Death, seeing as the boy had sent wind chakra into the sky with his Byakugan. RD would open his mouth, facing it upwards in a diagonal fashion, releasing a gust of wind at high speeds which would avoid the quickly descending tornado from striking over him. Simultaneously reaching for this kunai (flash bomb attached) from his ninja pouch, Red Death would have thrown it directly in front of the boys position as he was flying backwards. The flash bomb would go off, blinding the boy.

With his feet firmly on the ground now at 10m, the boy would still be feeling the effects from the flash bomb that went of moments ago. Red Death would take the opportunity to make a single hand seal, putting his opponent within an illusion. The boy who couldn't see from pure bright light now only saw infinite darkness.

Infusing lightning chakra within his hand giving off a chirping sound, Red Death would blitz towards the boy, plunging his right hand and arm right through the boys heart. This would surely kill the boy.

The opponent countered the wind technique by using another to propel him out of the way, allowing the tornado to disperse. Then, seeing a kunai come towards him, with something attached to it, Tiashe could tell it was a flash bomb. So, the man thought he would be hindered by such a thing? He had his sensory; loss of eyesight was not all that bad. But even so, Tiashe breathed out a large fireball that traveled towards the descending foe, incinerating the kunai and flash bomb along the way. The flash bomb would be burned up. Even if it had gone off, it wold have been mingled with the brightness of the fire and so not so bright. Besides, Tiashe averted his eyes at that time too.

He would start free falling then, upon which Tiashe stomped his right leg on the ground, creating three pillars of fire, each seven metres tall, to rise up into the air underneath the man. Since Red Death was already descending and was at a low enough height, the fire pillars would immediately engulf him. The pillars were evenly spread out in a triangular formation.

Falling back from the embrace of his previous wind tech, Red Death would see that the boy begun accumulating a decent amount of chakra, growing in quantity within his mouth. Moments after, he would fire off a giant blazing ball of fire which was approaching Red Death quickly but within reason to respond. Performing a single hand sign, he would have gathered a large amount of chakra within his stomach, spewing out an ocean of water. Given the position along with the quantity of water, Red Death would be on above a massive wave keeping his position of 10ms. Violently crashing down, the giant fireball would be completely engulfed by the waves and then following up by consuming the boy along with it. As he gets ragged dolled around by the waves, Red Death begun to form the ridiculous amount of water into an orb that would be floating within the air. Red Death himself, however, would be on ground level now about 10ms away from his foe.
