Starting off, I would go through a series of hand seals, causing it to rain. Following through, I would charge towards Tankun, with a 3 meters, equally divided, dual spear sword held in my hands. I would aim to strike Tankun when I reach 2 meter distance, sending a direct linear blow towards Tankun's chest. The right side of my body would be in front of the left during my offence.

When the rain is obstructed by a chakra belonging to someone the existence of the target can be detected. The rain will keep on falling until the user uses the seal to cancel it

Description: Tanroketto, or better known as Rocket, was the former commander of the Tanuki B.O.M.B squad before developing his own personal skills to a point where he could operate solo. While not skilled in elemental ninjutsu or genjutsu, he excelled in hand-to-hand combat and weapon based ninjutsu. With an appetite for explosions he outfitted all of the weapons he uses with his ninjutsu with explosive tags using the (Fuda Kakusu no Jutsu) Tag Hidding Technique. He carries a large scroll on his back as well as several smaller scrolls across his body on a strap going from his left shoulder to right him. He uses these scrolls for the manipulated tools set of techniques as well as other similar weapon based ninjutsu such as rising dragon dance. Rocket has two clips on each of his forearms where a small scroll can be attached. When doing this he can then point his arm towards a target and release a barrage of kunai. Using one scroll in this fashion releases a C-rank barrage of kunai, using two scrolls is B-rank, three scrolls is A-rank and four scrolls is S-rank. Each scroll can be used twice for this ability, meaning if all four are used simultaneously, the S-rank variation can be used twice per battle at most.
-Rocket's weapon based techniques gain +15 damage due to the hidden explosive tags within them.
-Can only used weapon based ninjutsu such as manipulated tools and rising dragon dance up to A-rank.
-Can only be summoned once per battle.
-Lasts for up to four turns.

Description: Scorpio was developed as a weapon for sand users to replace the typical gourd of sand seen used by people such as Gaara. While the gourd itself was useful, it had little value beyond being a simple container for the sand inside. The Scorpio on the other hand was developed to not only carry sand, but to be a useful tool in battle. The shape is designed after the tail of a scorpion, with numerous segments which end with a stinger-like head. The segments are each composed of dozens of hand-sized "scales" which each are hollow, sharply edged and filled with sand. These scales are loosely bound and designed in a way that allows the user to release them at will. In close quarters combat, this allows the user to swing the tail for attacks and defense by controlling the sand inside with hand movements. The scales carry an inherent A-rank durability. The head segment of Scorpio has a nozzle where a scorpion's tail would have its stinger. This is where the sand inside is commonly released from, though it can also be released from between the scales for quicker access. In terms of abilities, the Scorpio has several.
An A-ranked highly compressed stream of sand can be fired from the nozzle reaching up to long range.
The scales can be released along with sand to swirl violently around a target. This can be used as an A-ranked attack up to mid-range by having the scales slice up the target, or as an omnidirectional shield around the user.
The user can use the sand within the tail to extend its reach momentarily, similar to Renji extending Zabimaru, for quick B-rank strikes up to mid range.
The strongest attack allows the user to release all of the sand from the nozzle of Scorpio in the form of a violent tornado. The tornado can be made directly from the nozzle and extend up to long range in any direction the user wants (horizontal, diagonal, vertical, etc.) or, they can stab the nozzle into the ground and have the tornado form from directly below the target. The tornado is S-ranked in strength and can be used twice, requiring the weapon to be replenished after each usage.
To replenish the interior of the weapon with sand the user can stab the nozzle into the ground and draw in sand (directly drawing in sand, or converting earth into sand). Because of the size of the weapon, it can be a bit cumbersome to the wielder. While wearing it they lose speed equivalent to one rank, though this penalty can be removed by devoting 15 chakra per turn towards supporting the weapon through sand manipulation. As it could be an annoyance to carry a weapon of this size everywhere, the user can summon it from a scroll kept on their belt when needed. Due to the construction of the weapon its very difficult to fully destroy. Precision attacks can cause the tail to shatter, and destroy a couple of scales, but it can simply be reformed the following turn.
-Simplified appearance: Fairy Tail's Scorpio tail x Shukaku's tail
-All abilities (aside from freeform CQC) count as a move in the user's turn and follow the standard rank/chakra cost/damage guidelines. Each has a one-turn cooldown.
-Loss of speed of one rank, or loss of 15 chakra per turn while wearing.
-Can only be used by sand users.

Description: This is a very advanced of advancing the ability to feel and sense chakra. The technique allows the user to concentrate and detect someone's chakra. Users can use this to determine the nature of a jutsu used as well as sense masses of chakra. The use of this can be compared to Sharingan's brutish level of sensory, able to sense collection of chakra but not the level of clarity and precision Byakugan has.

While he does this, Rocket darts forward straight at Vayne. As he nears his target he removes a scroll from his strap and tosses it in an arc over Vayne. Once the scroll is open, it releases dozens of spiked metal balls from in front, above, and behind Vayne.

(Sōgu: Shikyū Geki) - Manipulated Tools: Deadly Spheres Strike

Desciption: The user pulls out a scroll and rotates it around himself. Many spiked metal balls burst forth from the scroll to strike any nearby opponents or discourage them from using close ranged attacks.

Rocket stops, making sure not to get too close, and claps his hands together causing the explosive tags hidden within the metal balls to explode.

With the creature releasing a barrage of tools, I do not break pace. I continue racing forward, channeling wind chakra as I do so, then releasing it in the form of a vortex that pushes the tools back away from me. The result would be sending a number of the balls back towards Tankun and Rocket, putting them in harms way.

Once in range, I would continue with my same plan, this time however keeping a close eye on Rocket.

Seeing the weapons being thrown back in his and Rocket's direction, Tankun clapped his hands together and raised two spheres of sand, one around himself and the other around rocket. Some of the metal balls embedded themselves on the surface of the spheres, while the rest became scattered in the surrounding area.

Tankun tracked Vaynes movement using his sensing, and when Vayne reached the area between Tankun and Rocket, he inscribed a message on the inside of rocket's sand sphere saying "NOW". Rocket understood, and triggered the explosive tags in the metal balls, creating a large scale series of explosions in the area surrounding them and Vayne.

In response to the creation of the sand sphere, I would utilise chakra to further enhance the thrust, releasing a green arrow composed of condensed chakra. The arrow would be directed towards Tanaki. It would carry enough strength to overcome the sphere and potentially penetrate Tanaki.

Following through, and capitalising on my momentum, I would push off the ground in a jump, sending myself into a rotation through which I release a circle of chakra which would ensure my protection while attacking the duo beneath me. I would land 3 meters past Tanaki's original location and await a reaction.

Description: The user will channel raw chakra into their sword and perform what seems to be a simple thrust. But, as the user fully extends their arm, they'll use shape manipulation to release the stored chakra in the form of a green arrow that measures about 1m in length that travels quickly. The arrow is also incredibly sharp, so much so that it's able to split apart techniques of the same rank and below. As the chakra is released the user can will it to split into four parts in order to attack multiple opponents, or a single opponent from different sides.

Note: Only useable twice per battle.

While he was unable to directly observe the incoming arrow, Tankun could track it with his chakra sensing. The chakra felt powerful enough to break through his sphere of sand, so Tankun wrapped Scorpio around his front to shield him from the potential attack. The arrow sliced through the sand sphere, and then became lodged in the gourd, where the durability of the scales and the sand it contained were enough to halt the already weakened arrow.

(Sukopion) - Scorpio
The scales carry an inherent A-rank durability. Due to the construction of the weapon its very difficult to fully destroy. Precision attacks can cause the tail to shatter, and destroy a couple of scales, but it can simply be reformed the following turn.

Vayne followed up the arrow with a barrage of chakra blades that peppered the surrounding area. Some of the blades clashed with the explosions from Rocket's weapons, while others tore into the remainder of the sand spheres. When all was said and done, Vayne had landed several meters behind Tankun who was now unprotected, as was Rocket. Moving quick to attack, Tankun reached out towards Vayne causing Scorpio to break apart into its individual pieces. The scales of the weapon swarmed Vayne, surrounding him in a cloud as they swirled around him and began slicing him from every angle.

Upon landing and facing the duo, I would be faced with the release of shards of some sorts. Acting quickly, I would throw the weapon towards Tankun's chest. Simultaneously and in the same movement, a singular snake would emerge from my right sleeve, expanding rapidly in size, consuming all the shards of the weapons in an instant. Naturally, my very own weapon would be consumed, but it was only sent in the attempt of causing a distraction.

Dragon...fist... EXPLODE!

Following through, and nigh on in the same breathe, I would utilise my left hand to grab a scroll and unravel it in the air, summoning forth a dragon composed of ink. The dragon would move in order to slam into Tanukun and his summon from the side at an angle which should raise them, after which the dragon would slam them into the ground.

I guess we both lost our weapons...
(Hebi no Shukuen) Snake Feasting

Description: The user manifest a snake from one or both of their sleeves. This snake or these snakes are from Ryuchi Cave which can defend against A rank and below attacks being it elemental or normal ninjutsu and even inanimate objects. The snake(s) eat the attack they are defending from inanimate objects and jutsu. At this moment after eating the attack/inanimate object they disperse(no smoke but as if it just got burned). The attack is sent to a disclosed location in Ryuchi Cave that seals the attack inanimate to be never seen again. The size of the snakes grows depending on the situation. When the snake comes out is like the size of a snake from the "Hidden Shadow Snake Technique". The snake(s) can grow up to a large size(see spoiler for highest size). When the jutsu is used with one snake it can defend against A rank(S rank due to Pitvipers) attacks and if used to manifest two snakes each snake can defend against B rank attack.
Note: Can only be used 4x per battle and only once every two turns.

Description:
The Crotalinae are a selective species of snake summonings which were bred and assigned only to the greater of the snake contract signers. These species of Snake summonings specifically had evolved over time to have harder, more adaptable scales covering their body and an enhanced pit organ that naturally heightened their abilities to sense. This heightened sensing used through the pit organ seemingly was developed not only for predatory reasons but also for defensive measures against other predators. The sensing was exactly like the basics of any other snake, just taken to a higher level. Meaning they could sense minute vibrations up to a certain distance around them and even had an infrared optic map of the world before them. Typically, most snakes of the Crotalinae subfamily had natural infrared maps overlaid through their optic tectum, but with the Selective species being bred into existence it was heightened to the point of even being able to put this to use in the pitch black and in the darkest of times. The facial pit actually visualizes thermal radiation using the same optical principles as a pinhole camera, wherein the location of a source of thermal radiation/heat is determined by the location of the radiation on the membrane of the heat pit. The resolution on the infrared mapping through the heat pits has a very high resolution, which in turn allows the snakes to sense different levels of heat and cooler areas in extreme detail. Besides the sensing, their scales made for a greater form of defense, allowing them to survive harsher conditions and more damage than an average snake summoning. Not only were the scales on Crotalinae found to be more thicker and tougher than average, but they also held a passive ability to blend in with their environment by changing colors and becoming camouflaged. This coupled with their sensing made them very dangerous predators that were even able to escape other predator's perception if they didn't have some higher form of tracking or sensing.

Note: The Crotalinae Species can be summoned as generic snakes like the ones summoned in techniques such as: Summoning Technique: Giant Snakes, Summoning Technique: Three Headed Snakes, or Just the normal generic summoning technique, though instead of being normal snakes, they'd be of the Crotalinae subfamily. They won't take the place of those techniques, instead the user uses the generic summoning technique to summon Crotalinae, having to post this technique along with it but not costing an extra move.
Note: The sensing of minute vibrations and infrared mapping spans as far as an 100m radius, with larger snakes being able to sense the furthest due to their larger pit organs. Snakes under 40m in length can only sense up to 50m whole anything bigger can sense up to the maximum reach.
Note: The evolved scales allow the Crotalinae Species to take up to 20 more damage than average snake summonings of their rank. This is due to the thickness and tougher nature of the scaling covering the Crotalinae

With the ink dragon coming towards them, Rocket leaps in the air and begins to manipulate his scrotal sac having it unwrap from around his waist. He stretched it out and shaped it into a large fist-like shape while hardening the skin. He then spun around, swinging the scrotal fist into the face of the dragon, destroying the ink construct.

Description: If there was one defining feature of the Tanuki species, it would be the unusual and discomforting size and manipulation of their scrotal sacs. Long before the Tanuki became involved with ninja, they used these arts for a number of tasks as well as with their trickery of humans. The scrotal sacs of the Tanuki are renowned for being much larger than their body size would suggest. The sheer size of these sacs made it typical for them to be slung over a Tanuki's shoulder or tied around their waist during their normal daily activities. Along with the unusual size, their sacs are incredibly elastic, allowing for them to stretch and increase their surface area. After becoming an animal contract for ninja, the Tanuki weaponized their famed scrotal arts. They learned to further manipulate the shape of their scrotum while using chakra to harden the skin to create constructs that could be used in battle. These constructs were fairly crude, but could be used as shields or weapons. This ability was restricted to the male Tanuki, and their skill with it is dependent on the summon's own rank, being capable of using the scrotal arts up to that same rank.

While this happened, Tankun clapped his hands together and called forth a mass amount of sand, raising it up to the surface. Upon reaching the surface, the sand began to absorb the water raining down on the field, as well as the moisture in the atmosphere. The water was pulled from the rain clouds causing them to dissipate entirely and a more arid environment was created.

(Bunpuki no Yuigon) - Bunpuki's Testament

Description: Bunpuki's Testament was a technique developed by the first Jinchuuriki of the Shukaku, Bunpuki; specifically designed to counter Water and Rain Release users. The technique involves the user calling forth billions of sand grains from the ground and manipulating them to absorb the moisture in the air. The technique specifically works with the sand grains absorbing water droplets and as such, the technique is designed to disperse clouds or to alternatively negate mist by manipulating the grains to absorb all of the water present in the mist. The technique in a sense exploits the weakness of Sand to Water, and thus in fact allows the user to use the sand to negate Water techniques of the one rank below (S-Rank counters A-Rank Water and Rain) by absorbing them. The technique however specifically targets moisture-based Water techniques and cannot be used to absorb water from other kinds of Water techniques; such as a wave of water. The size and strength of the sand grains depends upon the chakra put into the technique by the user.
Note: The user cannot heat up the atmosphere if this technique is utilized to counter an opponent's technique, with the only exception being if the technique happens to overpower that of the opponent. The atmosphere will also heat up if this technique is used against natural clouds or mist, as in clouds/mist not infused with chakra.
Note: The opponent and the user are rendered incapable of utilizing A Rank and above Suiton techniques for 4 turns if the sand grains happen to absorb most of the moisture in the air. Doesn't affect Water Specialists such as Tobirama.
Note: The S Rank version can only be used four times per battle, with the user being unable to use S Rank and above Sand techniques in the next turn.

Continuing with another hand seal, Tankun called forth more sand from the ground. This time a pillar violently erupted from below Vayne, lifting him into the air and grabbing hold of his legs before turning back towards the earth and driving him into the ground.

(Kyosei Suna no Jutsu ) - Greater Sand Technique

Description: The will manipulate sand from either his gourd or call it forth from the ground, using hand gestures if to control it as he shapes it and uses it to his needs. Other Sand users besides Gaara will need to form a handseal. The user can use it to restrain enemies, defend from incoming techniques, produce simple constructs of sand (which lose their shape if control is released), sand waves, etc. If he uses the sand from his gourd, the technique is both faster and stronger, gaining a rank in strength, this only applies to Gaara.

D-did it just enlarge its balls?? I would think, somewhat put off by the creatures action. Upon the emergence of the sand I would spread my shadow, forcing it to expand and cover the area around me. The shadow's power was further amplified, raising it's strength to S rank. The shadow field would destroy the sand while simultaneously attacking the duo. If the second sand technique is continued, then it would be pointless, as the field would deal with it.

Passively, Erebus would take hold when I use the shadow technique, turning me into a shadow myself.



(Kage: Na No Hoho) - Shadow Arts: Protection of the Na

Description: One of the ultimate defense mechanisms developed by Vayne of the Nara. Based on how the shadow reacts to light, this technique was born in order to turn a weakness into a strength. There are three ways to use this technique. The first, denoted Alpha, allows the user to spread his shadow around him and up to short range distance in the form of a circular shadow field. Once a target/object, moves past that shadow field and interrupts the light, the shadow would immediately rise, gaining physical form and attacking the target/object with spikes, thus effectively stopping the attack on the user. This is usually used as a means to allow the user to combat far away opponents without the fear of being blind sided by others. This ability can only be used 3 times per battle, counts as a move and delivers 60 damage to the object/target. This means that invisible objects/opponents can't be detected through this technique and as such would not be attacked.

The second manner, denoted Beta, allows the user to achieve the same effect, but without the need to create a shadow field, instead the user would have the shadow separate into multiple copies of him. The shadows would still react to a target/object moving past them and stop them at the same time while attacking, but the difference with this ability is the manner of attack. In Alpha the method of attack is spikes, while in Beta the method of attack could by anything CQC related. The beauty of Beta is that the shadows could be erected, giving them physical form, thus allowing the user to be surrounded with shadow bodyguards. The shadows are all linked together, and are somewhat autonomous. They would attack anything that gets within their range, matching the objects speed and attacking it. This however results in the user being unable to have allies next to him as the shadows would attack them. The user can override the bodyguards autonomous defence, however that would require him constant focus, and would result in the user being incapable of fully focusing on other targets, while also resulting in the user having to control the shadows, thus resulting in much slower and less effective defence. This can be used three times per battle, with each usage lasting three turns. The user can only create up to 3 bodyguards, and the bodyguards can chose to attack while using basic shape manipulation(Turning their hands into swords, etc).

In ability Alpha, the shadow would be capable of detecting attacks that are short range away from them. So in Alpha, the shadow field can detect attacks that are short range above it. This inversely gives the user the ability to sense objects via the shadow defense, however it is only restricted to knowing that an object it there, and not actually knowing what the object may be. This detection works through the shadow sensing any other shadow that gets past it.

Description: Shadow users have shown the ability to increase the strength of their shadows to steel like strength for some techniques. Hadodaku builds on that ability. It allows the user to increase the strength of his shadows to steel like quality. The user would perform an additional hand seal after using a shadow technique and give the shadow steel like qualities thus increasing its strength. Description: The technique entails the highest level of chakra usage, requiring one to be a master of ninjutsu, genjutsu, and nara clan techniques. The technique becomes active whenever a Nara Clan technique, or anything related is used. It remains active as long as the aforementioned technique is active, costing an additional five chakra points per turn. The techniques activation is passive and happens regardless of the user’s will. Essentially, it changes the user to intangible shadows, rendering them immune to physical damage. This has been compared to the Hozuki’s clan technique in one aspect and to Gaara’s 'subconscious’ ultimate defence in another. In some ways this is the opposite of the hiding in shadow technique, where instead of blending with a shadow, the user would become a shadow himself. While in this state the user is restricted to Nara Clan and Related techniques and non-elemental techniques. If the user wishes to use techniques outside of the restriction, then they must revert back to their normal state through sacrificing 10 chakra points. However, if a shadow technique is still in play, then the user would once again return to the shadow form. This means that if in turn one the user used a shadow technique that lasts multiple turns and he wishes to use water and wind techniques, he would be forced to use 10 more chakra point with each technique used. After the release of the technique the user would return to his shadow state. If the elemental technique can be maintained over multiple turns, it would not force the user back to his normal form.

While in shadow state, the user becomes capable of using shadow techniques from his body, basically controlling himself like he would control a shadow. Furthermore, at a cost of 5 chakra, the user can change partially or fully between the different states of shadows, allowing the user to have offensive capabilities as well if needed. While in intangible shadow form, the user can move like a shadow at speeds equal to that of theirselves in normal sates. The technique’s chakra cost would be equal to that of the technique that triggers it. The damage delivered would be dependant on the rank of the technique used. While in this state the user becomes weak to a shadows weaknesses, like a strong fire would revert the intangible user back to his normal state while also delivering damage to a user, if feasible. The technique can be used 4 times per battle. As mentioned in the description the form lasts as long as the trigger technique.

Tankun saw that look on Vayne's face, it was one he'd seen many times. There were thousands of different ninja techniques throughout the world. Some beautiful, some grotesque. But none could prepare a ninja for the sight of the Tanuki Scrotal Arts, a truly wondrous ability. Lesser ninja had been brought to tears at its glorious sight.

But the awe was short lived, and the battle had resumed. A black shadow filled with chakra began to expand outward along the ground in a circle around Vayne. Tankun and Rocket both jumped in the air where two clouds of sand caught them. The cloud with Tankun scooted back and up through the air, lifting him to mid-range away from Vayne and several meters above the earth. The cloud carrying Rocket went up and forward, arching high over Vayne.

As Rocket's cloud passed overhead, he unraveled the large scroll on his back with the paper facing downward. From the paper a torrent of kunai, shuriken and other various ninja tools were released. They fired down at Vayne from above with tremendous speed, looking like white streaks in the air.

Rocket quickly followed by triggering the explosive tags within the weapons, creating a giant explosion below. His cloud came to a halt mid-range behind Vayne's position, several meters off the ground and put the scroll back on his back.

With the sand being stopped, I would be faced with another issue, Tankun and Rocket flying off. The duo was slowly beginning to show good teamwork, so I had to deal with that as soon as possible.

I have a partner of my own, too, sandman!

I would say, as I separate the shadow field from my body, blessing it with sentience, mainly for the purpose of dealing with Rocket. Initially this action would go unnoticed, but the moment Rocket's cloud is in range, and his/it's shadow is overlapping with that of the shadow field, his movement would be instantly locked, preventing him from continuing with his attack as planned. The field would take effect before Rocket's arcs high above me, specifically while he is still in short range from my shadow. The shadow field, denoted Loki, would raise spikes from it's body, aiming to pierce the paralysed Rocket. Meanwhile, I would throw multiple tagged kunai at both Rocket(3) and Tanuken.(4) However, Tanuken would be attacked with one more additional shuriken that would also be tagged, but additionally tied to a string which is connected to my left arm.

Description: Similar to it's parent technique "Shadow Arts: Creations of Tomorrow" this technique allows the user to separate previously created shadow constructs from his shadow. The separated constructs would gain the traits of Shadow Imitation Shuriken/Shadow Paralysis Jutsu, similar to Creations of tomorrow, which allows the separated constructs, if they were to hit the targets shadow, to pin and stop the target in their place. After separation from the user the constructs can be mentally controlled by the user, thus allowing him to focus on other techniques more easily. Due to the influx of additional chakra to the technique, this technique can be used to sustain the separated technique for an additional 2 turns.(IF originally lasts 2 turns would last 4) The user also gains the ability to modify the shape of the constructs 2 times per battle without a jutsu cost, but a chakra cost of 20. Any additional modification would cost 30 chakra, then 40, then 50 etc and count towards the jutsu cost of the user. This is all in accordance with Creations of Tomorrow’s effects/restrictions. Using Kurieshonzu No Kinou occurs in the same instant of using a construct, happening in the same time frame but counting as a move. Furthermore, in regards to the constructs, they would be granted a degree of sentience (Movement and identifying friend from foe, but not strong enough to be cast in illusions). Constructs that lack adequate movements limbs or similar, would move through basic methods like slithering. These constructs would move at speeds equal to that of shadow techniques in broad daylight. Constructs that have proper limbs or similar would move at speeds equal to that of shadow techniques through translucent objects. Additionally, the constructs sentience would be restricted to commands given by the user, for instance having the constructs sole mission to rampage and attack a target.
-This technique is only applicable on Nara techniques that give actual physical form to the shadow, as such, it can’t be used on techniques similar to kage mane.
-Usable 4 times per battle with a turn interval between uses.
-10 Chakra per turn for each separated construct.

As Tankun tried to control the cloud, it suddenly stopped. Rocket was in a dangerous position, and so Tankun quickly preformed the summoning technique and called for the Rashomon gate, manifest it from below Rocket and lifting him into the air. The shadow spikes would easily pierce the gate, though the size of the gate compared to said spikes would allow it to remain standing.

Description: This summoning creates a demonic form of the main gate of old Kyoto, which is capable of blocking almost any attack. The Rashomon stands tall and wide covering a range of about 10 meters in width and height.

The gate would lift Rocket out of range of the shadows and break him free from the paralysis. Once free he removed a scroll from his strap and start swinging it in the air. The scroll then turned into a chain of metal with a large ball attached to the end, which Rocket threw down towards Vayne. Once released he leaped back off the gate, retreating towards Tankun.

Tankun clapped his hands together and began churning a large amount of earth into sand below the surface. He then raised his hands to the sky causing the sand to rise up from all across the battlefield, save for the short range circle where Vayne's shadow prevented it from doing so. The sand formed into a massive cloud above the field and began to rain down much in the same manner as the rain at will technique that was active earlier in the battle.

Description: The user lifts their arms to the sky and raises a massive amount of sand into the air. Well above the battlefield the sand forms into large clouds that suspend themselves in the sky. The solid nature of the sand blots out the sun creating shade over the battlefield as "raindrops" of sand begin to fall from the clouds all over the battlefield. Since the sand is solid compared to rain which is liquid, this can be quite the distraction to those not accustomed to it. But its true purpose lies in the user's ability to use this sand as a starting point for their sand techniques, given the range is correct. When the rain storm ends the battlefield is covered in a five inch layer of sand.
-Lasts for four turns.
-Can be used twice per battle.
-Requires a large amount of sand.

It was quick, very quick. The shadow field/Loki would transform into a magnificent warrior, 4 meters tall, with a shadowy sword in his left hand. Loki would be empowered with earth chakra, or rather, weakened, through earth chakra. It's weight was substantially lowered, bringing down it's power back to A rank strength. However, for this cost, Loki's speed was doubled. The change into warrior form, and the speed boost, would occur in the same timeframe, allowing Loki's humanoid form to quickly take action.

Loki would scale the Rashomon, intercepting the tools as they fell and continue relatively unhindered, aiming to smack Rocket with his sword through a vertical slash. The slash exploited the rising movement of Loki's movement. Meanwhile, I would move a few steps back, throwing a tagged kunai in an upwards arc while I do so. The kuani would be aimed to arc over the Rashomon. My ending location would be five meters from the Rashomon, mid rangish from Tankun?

Description: Asteria is a technique made in order to combat a Nara’s vulnerability towards light. When using a physical shadow technique, the user would simultaneously, in the same timeframe, imbue the attack with properties of the super added weight rock technique, increasing it’s weight as a result. The weight increase results in the shadow technique moving slower, however allowing it to deal more brute force damage. However the main function of the technique comes due to Einstein’s law of general relativity, which is 'basically' that light curves around heavier objects. As such, light sources would need to be more potent/powerful than normal to ward of the shadows. Specifically one more rank than normally required (cannot be applied to Forbidden ranks). This technique also employs elements of hiding with camouflage in order to further drive home it’s effectiveness, not relying solely on the weight increase of the technique. This technique can be used four times per battle, lasting the duration of the technique it is applied on. Once the technique is countered/stopped the user must wait a turn before reusing it. Alternatively, the user can chose to imbue the effects of the super light weight technique, resulting in a speed increase of 2X to the technique, but a reduction of 20 damage.

The shadow suddenly shifted again, this time taking the form of a warrior. It darted towards the gate with tremendous speed, too fast for Rocket to follow, but Tankun was able to track it with his sensing ability. Just as the shadow reached the top of the Rashomon gate, Tankun formed a swirling vortex of wind formed around it, halting its progress and allowing Rocket to continue his retreat.

Description: The user will form three hand seals and gather the wind around an opponent into a vortex. The wind becomes a medium sized tornado that doesn't harm the target, but traps them in rapidly spinning walls of wind. The wind is in close proximity to the target making them susceptible to fire techniques while they're trapped in the tornado. This can also be created around the user as a means of defense.
-Can be used twice per battle.

In almost the same moment, Tankun created a small spark of fire within the winds of the vortex causing it to become alight, creating a swirling vortex of fire around the shadow. While this was happening, Rocket released a torrent of kunai from the scrolls on his forearms, equaling A-rank in power, directly at the vortex. The weapons became swept up in the winds.

Description:
User does 2 hand seals (Ram+Tiger) and focuses his fire chakra into a specific spot on the enemies clothes igniting them in a small cinder that creates smoke. This produces a small cinder spot that erupts in small flames. Its main purpose is to distract and confuse the enemy. However, if the enemy fails to put out the ignited spot it will eventually start to consume the clothes and create small open flames that will slightly burn him. This technique can also be used on paper or other easily flammable materials or to ignite a Fuuton jutsu.
Note: The ignited spot can easily be put out by taping it with an open palm or with a little water.
Note2: Enemy has to put out the ignited spot in the turn its used or in the next turn it will ignite the rest of his clothes.
Note3: Can't ignite flesh or wet materials.
Note4: The speed of ignition is slow except on paper or other more flammable materials.
Note5: Usable 5 times.
Note6: The ignition spot has to be within the users visual field.
Note7: Can only be taught by Scorps.

(Kuchiyose no Jutsu: Tanroketto) - Summoning Technique: Tanroketto
Rocket has two clips on each of his forearms where a small scroll can be attached. When doing this he can then point his arm towards a target and release a barrage of kunai. Using one scroll in this fashion releases a C-rank barrage of kunai, using two scrolls is B-rank, three scrolls is A-rank and four scrolls is S-rank. Each scroll can be used twice for this ability, meaning if all four are used simultaneously, the S-rank variation can be used twice per battle at most.


The fire bombarded the shadow with its heat and light, followed by a massive explosion as the heat triggered the explosive tags embedded in Rocket's kunai, effectively erasing its existence.

Sorry for the delay.

Ra! I uttered, empowering the shadow once more, but this time with a much more lethal technique. Through this infusion, Loki would be capable of dealing with the barrage of attacks that would follow, unhindered by any means, and rather than getting weaker, gets stronger, much stronger. Loki would take in the power of Rocker's attack and add in half of it to his own, granting himself a rather big boost in overall power(145). Loki would move through the attacks and attempt to strike Rocket like previously intended, with the distance between the two much shorter now.

While the two chose to deal with Loki, they left my kunai alone. Seizing the opportunity, I would multiply the kunais, fifty fold, creating a large barrage of kunai that block the sky. However, a moment later, the skys would be littered with snakes as the tags go off. Due to each tag releasing 10 snakes, the sky would be filled with 500 tiny snakes that will explode when they reach Tanuken/Rocket. The damage dealt by the snakes should be enough to kill of the two in one go, however it did come at a massive chakra cost.

Description: One of the ultimate defense mechanisms developed by Vayne of the Nara. Based on the ability of the Nara to manipulate their shadow to become tangible and exhibit strong solid qualities this technique was born. The technique has two manners of usage. The first is erecting a defensive structure based on the users need. What sets the structure apart from any other defensive technique is how it interacts when damage is received. Instead of remaining solid and resistant to the oppressing technique the defensive structure would react in a unique way. Ability alpha would take place. Ability alpha leads to the negation of all power of the opposing technique. This is achieved through absorbing the power/damage of the technique and spreading it across the shadow then finally towards the ground, causing damage to the ground as a result. Depending on the strength of the technique it can cause damage from cracks to craters. This would stop the opposing technique from gaining any more distance, thus effectively protecting the user. The user can, 3X per battle and at a jutsu cost, choose to redirect the momentum of the stopped technique to somewhere else other than the ground. The momentum would be directed through (a) shadow tentacle(s) towards the intended target. If multiple tentacles are used the power is spread amongst them. The intended target would be sent flying backwards while receiving damage equivalent to the stopped technique but with a -10 damage due to the fact that some of the power would be lost during the execution of the technique.(A punch that delivered 30 damage initially would deliver 20 damage when its returned). The user can choose to give their defensive structures, 3X per battle, spikes. These shadow spikes would destroy the opposing technique. They would carry A rank strength. This is ability beta. It is commonly used to stop offensive techniques that the user does not wish to send back.

The second and alternative usage of this technique is to apply it to other shadow techniques. This would give that technique powerful defense. Additional chakra would be added to said technique to make it behave like the following. The technique this is applied to would get up to 45 defensive points added to it. When an opposing technique hits the augmented shadow it would count towards the 45 defensive points. Alternatively, power/damage can be either sent towards the ground/target through a tentacle(s)(or direct contact) delivering 3/4 of that damage, or it can be used to augment the shadow technique's own strength. The strength increase is only 1/2 of the stopped technique.(A tangible shadow punch that absorbed the damage from a boulder for example would use the damage/power to propel the shadow punch forward, increasing its damage as a result.) This can be only applied 3X per battle. It would last the same duration as the technique it is applied to. This requires the user to perform a hand seal. It would only become active when the shadow tech it is applied to gets hit. However, it would still cost 15 chakra points per turn.

The technique basicslly acts as a waterbed, distributing the damage but with a twist. The twist being that the damage would be 'presevered' then sent towards an outlet where it takes effect.

(Shuriken Kage Bunshin no Jutsu) - Shuriken Shadow Clone Jutsu

Description: After throwing one shuriken or more against their target, the user creates up to a thousand shadow clones of the shuriken (or kunai, senbon, etc, basically any basic weapon) after performing Ram → Rat → Bird → Boar → Tiger which multiply the damage as its striking down the enemy. This is a technique that combines ninja tools with ninjutsu. Compared to normal shadow clones, clones of material objects are said to be on a far higher level. There is no need for preparations beforehand, like stocking up on shuriken, yet since the shadow clones are real and not illusions, all the shadow blades that fly around are equally lethal. This is valid for any weapon copied and it has been seen that the copied weapons will also have the tags or markings of the original, like sealing or explosive tags or sealing marks.

When these tags go off the release 10 tiny snakes (2 inches in length) that have explosive scales. The snakes will bite down and wrap around the nearest body part and than explode. The explosions each have the power of a normal explosive tag.
Note: Must post this in the user bios to be able to use them
Note: When attached to a kunai, these tags can be countered in a free form way the same as normal explosive tags. The snakes are treated the same and may be countered with sword slashes ect

Much to the dismay of Rocket and Tankun, the shadow charged onward, gloriously breaking through the fire, wind and explosions.

What the hell! This thing is like the frickin' Terminator! DO SOMETHING JACKASS!

There wasn't time for Tankun to retort with something witty. Instead he had to act should he wish to save his friend's life. With the shadow knight bearing down on Rocket, Tankun clapped his hands together and opened the ground beneath Rocket. A circular pit formed, but a small one at that. It allowed for Rocket to fall down into its depths where the shadow knight couldn't follow. But as he did fall, several tendrils of sand raced upwards past him and latched on the shadow, wrapping around him and binding him.

(Subu no Jutsu: Sarlacc) - Sand Technique: Sarlacc

Description: The user will manipulate the sand beneath their target to open up into a circular pit. The pit is lined with a ring every foot and with each successive ring the pit gets narrower and narrower. Projecting from each of these rings are long and thin spikes that are easily capable of piercing into flesh. When the pit opens up five tentacles of sand reach up from the bottom and latch on to the target pulling them down towards the bottom. By closing their fist the user causes the walls of the pit to close together piercing whatever is trapped within them. The pit itself remains open until its either destroyed or the user closes it, but the tentacles can only reform once every two turns. The size of the pit can vary depending on the size of the target reaching large enough to swallow a summon the size of Pein's rhino.
-Can be used three times per battle.
-Can be used on normal ground, but requires a series of 4 hand seals during which the user uses their sand to grind up the ground below the target producing the sand.

Not wasting time, Tankun shifted his hands again into another seal and then raised them into the air. As he did this, small balls of highly compressed sand rose from the ground all over the battlefield. Some went high into the air to meet the newly born snakes, while others stayed around ground level. Thousands of them dotted the field surrounding the shadow, reaching mid range up to the sky. With a snap of his fingers Tankun detonated the spheres, which tore through the snakes and the shadow.

(Māku no Bachiatari) - Mark of the Accursed

Description: The technique 'Mark of the Accursed' is a unique technique that allows the user to differ from the usual manipulation of Sand. Generally, Sand is compressed and hardened however this technique brings in a distinct factor that involves the expansion of Sand structures. Basically, the user channels his chakra either into the terrain or any Sand structure present anywhere on the terrain, infusing his chakra into them and compressing them into thousands of 5cm spherical clumps of sand. Once the user has done so, he can manipulate the clumps to expand and instantaneously explode in a synchronized manner. This results in sand grains scattering across the terrain in an omnidirectional blast ranging upto Short Range from the techniques point of origin, though it's range in terms of height remains an exception as it reaches upto Mid-Range in that case. The sand grains essentially act as shrapnels and pierce right through the targets flesh and bone, as well as any other obstacle present in its course, completely destroying most of the surrounding. If the user somehow happens to be within the blast radius of the shrapnels due to any particular case of scenario, he can choose to utilize a Sand users capability to manipulate sand grains, and can as such alter the characteristics of the blast, changing it from being omnidirectional blast to an outwards 90°, 180° or 270° blast, one specifically targeting the opponent.
Note: Can be used four times per battle with a one turn break inbetween each use

As the dust cleared from the explosions, Rocket climbed out of the pit, just in time to be met by a rain of snake guts and blood.

Tankun narrowed his eyes on Rocket, his hat protecting him from most of the gunk.

Seeing how Rocket apparently slips into the ground, I would change my plans, opting not to multiply the kunai. Instead, I would slam my hands onto the ground, summoning a mass of water mere centimeters from the hole. The water would serve to nullify the sand attack, saving Loki, and allowing him to continue to attack Rocket unhindered, while also causing a minor caving in for Rocket.

With Rocket disposed off, Loki would charge towards Tanuken, transforming once more, gaining an even more demonic look as it gets thinner but has better range of attack, specifically 6. Loki would aim to strike Tanuken with a slash from Tanuken's left waist till his right shoulder. Due to the range that Loki can cover his sword would protrude from Tanuken's back. Simultaneously, I would cast an illusion upon Tanuken, one in which he is paralysed and every technique previously used, specifically Loki, would seem to disappear. This would make countering the beast much more harder.

Description: This illusion can be applied on multiple targets after the performance of a single hand seal. The trigger for the activation of the illusionary effects can be the usage of any type of Nara related technique. The target must either see the technique being used, or be aware of the usage of a Nara related technique in general. The technique would cause those under it’s effects to experience a multitude of effects. They would see that either the user and any other living being present on the field has extended their shadow and connected it with theirs preventing their movement as a result. In addition to that, techniques that were in play would disappear, reverting the field back to its basic state, like removing a dust storm that was used. This also includes the nara technique that triggered the illusion. Techniques used after are still detectable by the targets. Following the initial binding and movement restriction, the targets would then see their binder(s) moving, causing them to believe they are moving as well. In essence, the technique causes the target to believe that the basic Nara technique has been applied on them, with them being initially incapable of moving, then being forced to imitate the movements of their binders. The targets would be tricked into believing that they are being controlled. In reality, the target becomes paralysed immediately after the usage of a shadow technique. The technique doesn’t conceal the movements of the user, as such it can be a tell that something is off. The technique can be learned by non naras, serving as a cooperation technique between a nara and the learner for example. The technique can be used three times, lasting the same duration of the nara technique it was used with or 2 turns max. Additionally, the illusion can be performed in the same timeframe of using the nara technique. This technique can only be used once every two turns and no genjutsu for the following turn after this is used.

Just a heads up, the Rashamon gate should still be between Vayne and everyone else at this point, so he's cut off from seeing whats going on.

Tankun watched helplessly as Rocket was buried in the Sarlacc pit.

Rooockeeeet!!!!

He went to run forward, but it was at that moment he felt the paralysis take hold. His shadow had been reached by another, or so it seemed. It was odd, as Tankun hadn't sensed the chakra coming his way. Even now, there was no trace of chakra within the shadows. At the same time the shadow knight had faded from view, yet Tankun could still feel its presence on the field.

An illusion?

He focused on his own chakra to confirm that he was in fact under an illusion. He could still follow the now invisible shadow's chakra, and knew an attack was coming. He focused earth chakra throughout his body and rapidly grew stone from his skin, building it up as a powerful defense while also breaking himself free from the genjutsu. The armor would be built from the front of Tankun's body, essentially making a half-shell that left his back expose. The shadow's slash would become embedded in the stone armor, which continued to grow and swallow up the weapon and arm of the knight. At that point, Tankun would escape through the exposed back of the armor.

Description: The user releases a burst of earth chakra from all over his body. As he does this, a multitude of rock seemingly grows from his skin, forming a large, dense armour or rock much bigger and bulkier than the users original size. The armour can be manipulated and used to create extendable weapons to strike a target with like rudimentary swords or hammers. The downside is that the user cannot mold techniques from other elements a part from earth while sustaining the armor. The armor can be manifested in only specific parts of the body if the user so chooses.

Upon landing Tankun would clap his hands together and then slam his palms on the ground. The earth from just behind the discarded earth armor all the way to a couple meters behind Vayne would soften and become a sticky, adhesive mud. The mud alone would have dragged the shadow down, but with the added weight of the earthen armor it would plummet. Vayne would also begin to get dragged into the swamp. Not satisfied quite yet, Tankun made one more hand seal which caused a pair of mud arms to reach up from below Vayne and pull him more quickly and forcefully into the swamp.

Description: The user will first perform Boar → Tiger and then by changing the surface of an object beneath an enemy into mud and creating a non flammable swamp, the user can sink his enemy into the mud. The adhesive, chakra-infused mud ensnares the enemy's body, making it almost impossible to recover one's strength and escape from the swamp. The size and depth of the created swamp depends on the user's skill and the amount of chakra used, but if the user is an expert in this technique, it will always be possible to make a fair-sized swamp which is extremely effective against a great number of enemies or when having to face gigantic creatures.
