Recently, Ryuu's performance had been good enough that he was allowed to perform battles to show his capabilities as a ninja. This was of course so he could be promoted to a higher rank by his village. On this particular day, the Hyuga was set to fight against a man not from his village. Arriving at a grasslands, where he was supposed to meet, Ryuu found a muscular looking man with a helmet on his face. Interesting... So this was who he was supposed to fight.
Wearing the usual bored expression on his face, Ryuu reached his right hand into his ninja pouch and took out something round. Activating his Byakugan, he threw the flash bomb into the air, in an attempt to blind the opponent.
(Dōjutsu: Byakugan) Eye Technique: The All Seeing White Eye

While, like other Dojutsu, its main ability is to see chakra and the chakra flow in sentient beings, the Byakugan adds a complete new detail and dimension to that ability. Not only can they see chakra flow, but also the circulatory system and even the 361 tenketsu (even of their own). Added to this ability, once activated the Byakugan grants the user a near perfect field of vision 360º around himself (up to long-range if they're a master). This field of vision has only one blind spot; slightly above the 3rd thoracic vertebrae and facing backwards. The last ability the Byakugan has is the ability to zoom in and out, focusing on specific things, piercing beyond matter and energy alike. This specific ability allows the user to see pass most barriers as well as physical matter (like rock walls, ground, etc) but also energy, being able to focus beyond chakra that might be in front of them or other energies. The zooming ability is enhanced as the user becomes more adept at using his eyes and can even reach distances above 20kms away.
Note: For Hyugas, activation spends a move from the users own move count but once the user reaches Sannin Rank and has gained mastery over Gentle Fist for 1 month, he can activate it passively without spending a move. Because of its low chakra cost to maintain, the user can keep it active throughout the whole fight as long as he has chakra and stamina to do so.
Note: Genjutsu that requires Eye Contact when used against a Byakugan user requires direct eye contact between enemy pupil and user's pupil

As he started to run, he also pointed his head towards Oroku and released a large bullet of water from his mouth which traveled straight towards the man. Ryuu kept running. When the water bullet was five meters away from Oroku, it suddenly separated into ten smaller bullets with a spin to them. They were angled in such a way that the bullets spaced out from each other and took different paths to hit different areas of his body, including the back of his body by arcing. As the bullets landed on the man, they each expanded to the size of a bowling ball, covering his body.

Saki watched as the boys eyes changed, seeing him also grab and throw either a smoke or flash bomb and starts to squint, however as it goes off he is still slightly affected by it momentarily blinded. So the boy was smarter than Saki thought, a sneak attack would certainly increase his chances of victory against a man like him, however the Shredder was not a man who was shook very easily even in such a situation. Smiling to himself, he quickly claps and coats himself in a snug earthen armor and listens to his surroundings intently. He could hear the water rushing towards him and as the bullets strike him the armor pierces them all responding to the force of their attacks. The earthen spikes disrupt and break apart the water attack leaving him unscathed..

However, when met with any sort of physical contact or subjected to a large amount of force, many small sharp earthen spikes will erupt from itself, adding onto the damage caused by Taijutsu.This will not hinder the user's mobility in the slightest, similar to the "Earth Spear Technique.Due to the original armor plus the spikes that rise up from the armor due when sufficient force is created, the user gains +10 to all taijutsu actions.

In the same instance, he concentrates not only his chakra to the ground short range below the boy creating a small tremor usually indicative of an attack from below, but then makes 2 seals unseen by the boy behind him opening a rift 10 meters above the boy that would dump down a swamps worth of sticky mud onto him from above crushing him. Both occur in the same TF. Thanks to the vibrations from below, the opponent would be hard pressed to properly counter the attack from above, as Saki turns towards the boy looking towards his direction..

It seemed like the man was cautious, as he coated himself in an amor of earth even before Ryuu had attacked, which meant it was probably going to be difficult to get past his defences. But Ryuu was confident in his strategising abilities. That, and the fact that he came from one of the four noble clans. He couldn’t afford to tarnish his clan’s name by losing a battle that could be won.
Focusing, the Hyūga noticed the man making two hand seals, as well as the gathering of chakra above him. Also, at the same time, the ground below him started to shake. Ryuu was a little confused, but he did know that he should get out of there as soon as possible. Drawing three lions and a hawk on a scroll, Ryuu jumped onto the back of one of the lions, allowing it to carry him away from the threat at hand, and towards Oroku. As he did so, he took out something else from his ninja pouch and threw it in between him and Oroku; a smoke bomb this time. This quickly covered the terrain with smoke. All three lions continued to charge towards the enemy, whilst the hawk flew to the skies above, lying in wait for its victim. When Ryuu was out of range of the falling swamp, he jumped off the lion’s back, something which his opponent would not have witnessed thanks to the smoke (not sure how many metres I would be from you at this point...). The lions all hit Oroku, sending him flying into the skies above. The hawk, who had been waiting, played its part by shooting some razor sharp feathers at him.

Manipulating it into countless senbon, the boy then made a simple hand movement, before these senbon were shot at the foe. Using precision, he made sure the senbon hit only the man and not his creations. The senbons would make contact with Oroku at around the same time as the hawk was attacking him in the air. Also, the smoke would make it quite difficult for these to be detected.

Description: The user reshapes the Chidori in their hand into the form of countless senbon which are shot with a simple hand movement towards the target. The senbons are extremely precise and have the same numbing and paralyzing effects as Chidori, carrying enormous speed. Because the technique requires no handseals and is done with simple hand movements, its extremely hard to avoid while in short range and quite dangerous to counter due to the precision attacks it can be used to perform.
Once the animals had served their purpose, they would simply disappear...

His vision returned, Oroku Saki see's the boy release beasts from a scroll and hop onto one. Once this occurs, Saki who was of course still molding his doton chakra, would release it into the ground beneath all 3 beasts causing adhesive sticky mud to burst upwards quickly engulfing not only the 3 lions and boy and the smoke grenade filling their muddy tomb with smoke, but also attempts to ensnare the bird as well as it speedily rises. Due to the size of this tomb (see pic) it would be possible while also possibly obstructing it's view with Saki if it failed to get the bird. However, Saki felt confident his earthen armor would easily deal with any ink feathers that could reach him. With the mud clinging immediately to them all as it bursts forth, the rock continues to harden and constrict around them growing tighter and tighter, threatening to crush them with it's immense force..
(Doton: Shinku Bohi) - Earth Release: The Scarlet Tombstone

Description: The user will release their chakra into the ground, then by manipulating their chakra, they cause an abundance of adhesive sticky mud to burst up from the ground around and beneath the opponent(s). The mass of mud quickly forming into a tombstone-like shape while clinging to the target, then quickly hardens and encases the whole of the opponent in solid rock. The rock quickly continues to constrict around the opponent, growing tighter and tighter until it eventually crushes them with immense force. Multiple tombstones can be created to encase and destroy multiple enemies, or a single large tombstone can be created to destroy a group of enemies, or one large enemy. The Tombstone created can be no larger than Gamakichi and if multiple Tombstones are created, their total size combined cannot exceed that of Gamakichi.

In rapid succession, Saki would weave two seals and use more doton to create a 30 meter deep swamp from short range in front of himself to mid range behind the enemy and mid range in width. The heavy tomb would quickly descend beneath another coating of sticky adhesive mud as the swamp swiftly forms with the mud from the previous tech combining with it. Saki wasn't finished though, he takes hold of his chakra in the muddy swamp and makes it blast upwards once more, wrapping engulfing the sinking tomb, forcing it's way into any cracks and crevices as well cutting off any air speeding the boys demise as they plummet 30 meters beneath the surface..

Description: The user will first perform Boar → Tiger and then by changing the surface of an object beneath an enemy into mud and creating a non flammable swamp, the user can sink his enemy into the mud. The adhesive, chakra-infused mud ensnares the enemy's body, making it almost impossible to recover one's strength and escape from the swamp. The size and depth of the created swamp depends on the user's skill and the amount of chakra used, but if the user is an expert in this technique, it will always be possible to make a fair-sized swamp which is extremely effective against a great number of enemies or when having to face gigantic creatures.

Description: The person takes hold of Chakra infused mud already in play due to the chakra already found in the mud it can be slightly manipulated to surround the opponent. It basically blasts out and around the opponent covering their body in mud. This makes moving harder as well as restricts breathing. This is due to the chakra infused mud that covers the opponent It has the same effect as Swamp of the Underground as it makes movement harder. The mud can possibly asphyxiate the opponent if it successfully covers the opponent completely. The mud can be controlled slightly and forced to surround the opponent's head making it's way into their nose, mouth and eyes. The user must have used a Mud based Earth jutsu prior to this jutsu.

His vision returned, Oroku Saki see's the boy release beasts from a scroll and hop onto one. Once this occurs, Saki who was of course still molding his doton chakra, would release it into the ground beneath all 3 beasts causing adhesive sticky mud to burst upwards quickly engulfing not only the 3 lions and boy and the smoke grenade filling their muddy tomb with smoke, but also attempts to ensnare the bird as well as it speedily rises. Due to the size of this tomb (see pic) it would be possible while also possibly obstructing it's view with Saki if it failed to get the bird. However, Saki felt confident his earthen armor would easily deal with any ink feathers that could reach him. With the mud clinging immediately to them all as it bursts forth, the rock continues to harden and constrict around them growing tighter and tighter, threatening to crush them with it's immense force..

Description: The user will release their chakra into the ground, then by manipulating their chakra, they cause an abundance of adhesive sticky mud to burst up from the ground around and beneath the opponent(s). The mass of mud quickly forming into a tombstone-like shape while clinging to the target, then quickly hardens and encases the whole of the opponent in solid rock. The rock quickly continues to constrict around the opponent, growing tighter and tighter until it eventually crushes them with immense force. Multiple tombstones can be created to encase and destroy multiple enemies, or a single large tombstone can be created to destroy a group of enemies, or one large enemy. The Tombstone created can be no larger than Gamakichi and if multiple Tombstones are created, their total size combined cannot exceed that of Gamakichi.
Note: User is unable to use Water above S-rank in the same turn and the turn after.

In rapid succession, Saki would weave two seals and use more doton to create a 30 meter deep swamp from short range in front of himself to mid range behind the enemy and mid range in width. The heavy tomb would quickly descend beneath another coating of sticky adhesive mud as the swamp swiftly forms with the mud from the previous tech combining with it. Saki wasn't finished though, he takes hold of his chakra in the muddy swamp and makes it blast upwards once more, wrapping engulfing the sinking tomb, forcing it's way into any cracks and crevices as well cutting off any air speeding the boys demise as they plummet 30 meters beneath the surface..

Description: The user will first perform Boar → Tiger and then by changing the surface of an object beneath an enemy into mud and creating a non flammable swamp, the user can sink his enemy into the mud. The adhesive, chakra-infused mud ensnares the enemy's body, making it almost impossible to recover one's strength and escape from the swamp. The size and depth of the created swamp depends on the user's skill and the amount of chakra used, but if the user is an expert in this technique, it will always be possible to make a fair-sized swamp which is extremely effective against a great number of enemies or when having to face gigantic creatures.

Description: The person takes hold of Chakra infused mud already in play due to the chakra already found in the mud it can be slightly manipulated to surround the opponent. It basically blasts out and around the opponent covering their body in mud. This makes moving harder as well as restricts breathing. This is due to the chakra infused mud that covers the opponent It has the same effect as Swamp of the Underground as it makes movement harder. The mud can possibly asphyxiate the opponent if it successfully covers the opponent completely. The mud can be controlled slightly and forced to surround the opponent's head making it's way into their nose, mouth and eyes. The user must have used a Mud based Earth jutsu prior to this jutsu.

-Must have already used a mud based jutsu such as Swamp, Mud Fall, or mud bullets
-Must be able to manipulate up to A rank Earth to use this

After having thrown the smoke bomb, Ryuu noticed, through his Byakugan, a large amount of chakra in the ground below him. He could see it’s properties; heavy and soft, resembling that of mud. He was prepared for what was to come. So as soon as the swamp started to form, the Hyūga placed his hand upon the swamp, causing it to harden immediately. Since he had been on the lion, Ryuu’s feet were not on the ground when this happened, so he was not stuck in the hardened swamp. However, the lions did disperse.

Description: This jutsu is based on the Earth Chakra's abilities to harden or soften any earth feature. By slamming the user's palm on the ground, or on any thrown or erupted earth structure, the user is able to harden or soften the said structure, all at once. The technique is based on the user's chakra reservations, and thus the area and volume of the feature the user wishes to change varies with it.
As described this technique has two variants:
(Buru no Ai Naguriai) Bison's Love Fist, which allows the structure struck by the right hand to harden immediately. Basically, any soft structure, such as Sand, Gravel or Mud (Created by Earth Release (Canon Element), not Mud Release (Custom Element) will turn into rock.
(Ushi no Nyuujou Kissu) Cow's Milky Kiss, which allows the structure struck by the left hand to soften immediately. Basically, any hard structure, such as Rock, Harden Mud or Earth will turn into sand.

However, straight after that, Ryuu once again noticed a large amount of chakra in the ground. This time, he would evade it. Taking out a scroll, Ryuu drew upon it two birds. As they emerged, one of them put Ryuu on it’s back (dragged Ryuu out of the swamp if it started to form), whilst the other flew straight over to the enemy. Reaching Oroku, this bird reached out with its talons and picked him up from his shoulders, making sure to hold him in a way that the spikes did not directly touch its flesh. This would catch the man by surprise since the smoke in the area would obscure his vision. After picking him up, the bird carried Oroku over to his own swamp and dumped him in there. That would teach him for trying to drown the mute boy…

There, the Hyūga attempted to do what he had previously intended. Forming a Chidori in his hand, the boy shaped it into many senbon, which he shot at his opponent, making sure not to hit his bird. This would be happening at the same time the bird was carrying Oroku to the swamp.

Description: The user reshapes the Chidori in their hand into the form of countless senbon which are shot with a simple hand movement towards the target. The senbons are extremely precise and have the same numbing and paralyzing effects as Chidori, carrying enormous speed. Because the technique requires no handseals and is done with simple hand movements, its extremely hard to avoid while in short range and quite dangerous to counter due to the precision attacks it can be used to perform.
