Yang Gang doesn't accept anymore, please refer to another nearby booth. Anyways, welcome to Yang Training 101, I'm your host Mirai the 8th, and today we'll be going over Yang Release. Now please tell me what you understand about Yang Release based on the RP and the Naruto Canon, what does it? It's attributes? Etc, enlighten me about this unique chakra nature.

At last. 🙏 Thank you for conducting such an important training session.

I like doing this from the top of my head to see where my knowledge stands and then be corrected or added if necessary, hope you don't mind. Yang is the chakra nature that governs the physical, vitality, health, life itself. It is a portion of the balance that is required to maintain life as we know it, the other portion being Yin which is a representation of the spiritual. Only when they're in balance we can have live, sentient beings with their spirits attached to their physical bodies. From there, iirc, we can use yang to give our creations the sentience for them to act alive and on their accord. Yang is also, as repeatedly explained to me, the ultimate healing ability, putting medical ninjutsu in its pocket. Yang is more powerful than medical ninjutsu to such a degree that it can give life, while medical can only heal what is injured. On top of that, Yang healing is greater and choosing a Yang specialty grants the user with recoil immunity and a staggering +1000 chakra to his pool.

Right so that’s a pretty solid base to work with. Of course, me being me, I’ll be introducing it a little bit more from my perspective so thar hopefully you might be able to learn a thing or two. Yang Release is a chakra nature that quite represents the physical energy of chakra. It’s governs the physical and vital energy of one’s body, but also the human condition – this allowing you to alter the human body down a anatomical level. It’s often described as “hot” or “warm” to its touch, it representing the sun while yin represent the moon. It’s male to Yin’s female, it’s an incredibly powerful healing agent. Yang Release is often times used in Medical Ninjutsu to heal others, but true Yang Release can not only heal, but it also can be used to restore the balance of one’s body. This was seen when Naruto used what we call in the rp “Touch of the Sun” to heal the chakra network of Guy before he passed away from unleashing the 8th Gate in the war or when Naruto gave Kakashi a completely new eye when he had lost his original on years ago. Yang can also breath life into targets, allowing inanimate objects or even chakra the ability to think and speak on an intellectual level. However don’t always think Yang as a completely “good” nature.

Yang can also be used for destructive purposes, as mentioned it allows control over the human condition which in turn can be used to create mutagens to the bodies of those affected, making them sick or debuffed etc. We’ll touch on those a little bit later on. Yang can be seen in other “lesser” forms, such as the Akimichi Clan’s Hiden Ability with their expansion jutsus, various forms of Taijutsu also incoperate aspects of Yang into it too or with Naruto in his Six Paths Sage Mode state which channels the Yang half of it. Before we move any further into things, do you believe in the oddity that “There is still Yin within Yang?” if so or not, explain to me why.

That's a great lot of information, thanks. Yes, I would believe so, because in my opinion, when talking about Yang within the realm of Yin Yang, it only means that the balance has been tipped towards Yang more than Yin, while there is still som Yin within it. Otherwise it would be pure Yang nature. I believe it always come a down to balance where it's never completely one or the other, like in life. Nothing is ever black or white but it's always a mixture, somewhere on the spectrum, if that make sense. But I'm curious to hear what you think about it.

Ya that’s a pretty good take on it. We’ll be touching on that once we get into the techniques themselves where you’d attempt to find the Yin within the Yang Techniques. Anyways let’s not waste anymore time and get into the meat and potatoes. The first technique is the universal life breathing technique “(Yoton: Jigoku ni henkō) - Yang Release: Change into Hell”. It’s a really lovely technique that can grant any of your chakra based techniques sentience. This is normally only capable of the basic five natures, but Yang Specialists possess the ability to apply this to other chakra natures of advanced fields like Fuinjutsu, MPM and the likes. So I want you to go over the technique and give em your initial thoughts about and I’ll go over it with you some more.

(Yoton: Jigoku ni henkō) - Yang Release: Change into Hell
Type: Supplementary
Rank: S-Rank
Range: Short
Chakra cost: N/A (+50, -10 per turn)
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user is able to use their Yang nature too imbue life into an elemental technique, creating a Yang/Element sentient entity that remains on the field to aid them. The only limit is the size of the technique originally used as an elemental source, as the resulting entity will always be half the size. The entity can be interacted with, can act on its own, and is made of the element sourced with all its properties intact. Its strength is based on the original elemental technique used as a source. This doesn’t consume time since it is actually a skill applied to a technique used within the same timeframe. The infused chakra increases the technique by an additional ten chakra, of the fifty it costs in total. Note that the resulting entity created by this technique is bound by logical limitations of its shape and nature; a meteor cannot move on its own, a pillar cannot walk away, and a statue without arms cannot pick things up. Likewise, while it is able to use techniques from the source it is created from it cannot extend into different fields. For instance, if Susano’o is brought to life by this technique it cannot use Blaze Release unless the Susano’o itself is constructed, or partially formed, from Blaze itself (e.g. Sasuke’s Susano’o). It is bound by the literal source it is formed from, rather than the fields it is bound to.
Note: Usable 3 times per battle and up to 6 times per event to create one entity with up to 300 chakra points that is able to use jutsu from the source it was created from. Its chakra reserves can be replenished through external means, and because it has a chakra network can fall under the influence of Genjutsu or other Spiritual-based techniques.
Note: Yang Release masters can apply this technique to advanced fields and CE and advanced elements.

It is lovely indeed. It's very well written and very well explained so there's not much more to say about it. I like the fact that the sentient beings created through this are also susceptible to genjutsu because otherwiseit would really be broken. This way there is some balance an as a genjutsu user myself this is valuable info that I didn't habe before. Mastering Yang comes with a lot of perks I see, very cool. Back to the technique, the only thing that would be controversial, which was mentioned in the discord the other day, how do you make something that has, 300 chakra with only, 50 chakra? But alas, looking at the technique and trying to find the Yin, I would say it's found in the fact that the entities can be placed under genjutsu, meaning there has to be some Yin within it in order to govern the spiritual and illusive.

Well the Yin in this technique is actually in the fact of “how does this cost 50 chakra but has 300”. That’s literally your answer, you utilize your own imagination when crafting the sentient being for it to have a chakra network of its own. Thus this is made and blessed with 300 chakra. It’s basically a precursor to one of the Yin – Yang Techniques that allows you to meditate and generate your own chakra back. It’s pretty conceptually. One thing I’d like to make note off is that once you bless the technique with sentience, it doesn’t change its form whatsoever. Meaning if you make a rock with chakra gain sentience; the rock cannot be formed to have legs to walk or mouth to speak. It’s just gonna stay there but still be sentient – so be careful with what you’re trying to make come to life. Outside of this, the familiars gain the ability to utilize techniques based on what their original core substance is, so if you use this on an ice familiar then the familiar can use Ice Release but only Ice, not its subcomponents unless it was like a “Ice/Wind” combo or something along those lines. It’s HP will become whatever it’s current damage at the time was so an S Rank would have 80 HP but a boosted S Rank will have 100 HP etc. Also its size is reduced by half, so yea haha. Any other questions?

It would suck to have a rock being put under a genjutsu. @[email protected] Other than that, great piece of informstion. Now that you mention it, it makes sense, yes. The piece of magic that makes 50=300 be real. What about manipulating the sentient familiars afterwards? Like, if I can manipulate the rock into having legs, does that work?

Well, if you have an outside source technique that can still manipulate it then yes, since its still your chakra at the end of the day. It would indeed gain those attributes. Also one thing I’d like to add, do you believe the familiar if sensed by someone, would it have the same chakra signature as you?

That's a great question actually. I wouldn't know the answer if it wasn't for the first sentence that you just wrote. This makes me believe that they would be sensed as the same chakra signature as mine since it was my chakra that created it. Although I have no clue if that's correct. Great question, very curious.

Due to the imperfect nature of the technique; it would reflect your as your chakra signature imo due to the imbalance. It would only be different if it was a Creation from the CoaT. Anyways, I suppose that's enough of that, let's move onto the next technique. This would be the ultimate healing technique in the canon, only rivaled by Tsunade's Creation Rebirth and the those techniques. This would be "(Yoton: Taiyōnomegumi) - Yang Release: Touch of the Sun". As said, this technique alone puts all of Medical Ninjutsu to shame, cause the extent its capable of healing is truly vast, to the point of being able to even restore lost limbs. This gets even better if you have Yang Specialist, cause then you can apply this to yourself which is pretty fucking good if you ask me. It heals for 150 HP which is almost completely full for non Sages. It's really a jack of all trades type of healing, the only thing is it doesn't heal spiritual damage. Any clue as to what the "Yin" of this technique is?

(Yoton: Taiyōnomegumi) - Yang Release: Touch of the Sun
Type: Supplementary
Rank: S-Rank
Range: Short
Chakra cost:70 per use
Damage points: N/A
Description: Through the infusion of Yang natured chakra into others, users can heal others to their original best physical form. It can be used to regrow missing body parts, heal wounds, purge poisons, etc. The target needs to be alive and the bigger the injury, the longer it takes to heal. The limits of the heal, however, are almost none as it can heal 150 damage per turn and can even heal the chakra system or other injuries that are otherwise not possible to be healed. The technique requires time and physical contact and as such isn't very suited to use in a battle when compared to regular Iryo Ninjutsu.
Note: Yang Release masters are able to use on themselves.

Alright, I see what you mean. It's a ridiculous healing ability indeed. The yin within it I would guess is required to give the healed person the feeling of restoration, meaning, an arm cam physically be recreated and grown back but it requires the brain to know that it's there and that it can be used and as such I think the yin portion of the balance would take care of that.

Hmm, not quite. The Yin to me at least would be the literal fact that you’re giving form to limb in order to restore it. Once you use your Yin Energy to give it form, the Yang portion takes over and sort of “attaches” it to the body and completely repairs it. It’s a very weird technique but it was based off how Naruto touched Kakahsi’s eye socket and literally willed into existence a new eye for him. Or how he managed to stop Gai’s body from further collapsing after using the 8th gate formation. Now, I wanted to ask you this – would someone be capable, when regenerating an eye for lets say an Uchiha, would it allow the recipient the ability to use the Sharingan again? Depending on your answer, explain why/why not.

Right, so you use yin for the imagination and yang for creation, that would make most sense.

Well, I can give an explanation for both, to be honest and I really don't know which one would hold true. When Naruto restored Kakashi's eye, it turned out to be a normal one instead of the Sharingan that Madara stole. So I would say the Uchiha wouldn't be able to use it as a Sharingan. But then again, if it's an Uchiha, then it's in their bloodline while Kakashi wasn't an Uchiha, so perhaps he could've used it if he was. Really puzzled on this one.

If I was going by the RP and what made most sense, then the answer would be no. Obviously, it would be stupidly powerful if I just gouged my eye out to give myself a Tenseigan. In that case everyone would be running around with dual dojutsu.

The answer is yes and no. The reason being is that at the end of the day, the person who makes it would have to personal have the KG in order to sort of “know” the genetic code to sort of replace it. It’s weird; but it was something I talked with mods sometime ago, I’ll need to go and find it but iirc they said it would if the person performing the technique has the same KG. I’ll follow up on it doe and let you know. Is there any other concerns or questions you have?

(Yoton: Ken'i) - Yang Release: Power of The Sun
Type: Supplementary
Rank: S-Rank
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 100 (50 per turn)
Damage points: N/A (+40 to Taijutsu)
Description: The user will reinforce his own body with Yang natured chakra, empowering his physical abilities to the outermost limits. This allows him to become physically very strong (beyond the normal levels of chakra enhanced strength), increases his resistance to physical damage (decreasing 60 damage from any physical contact), his speed (boosted to 3.5x his normal speed), and grants him a passive healing of all minor wounds at 30 damage per turn. However, by infusing himself with the Yang Nature, he becomes unable to use Yin Release techniques or Yin/Yang Release techniques; he cannot use Genjutsu or non elemental Ninjutsu of any kind (including special fields like Fuuinjutsu).
Note: Can only be used twice per battle and lasts 4 turns per use.

Next one to go over, read through it and then we'll discuss it more in depth. What's the first thing that comes to mind when reading this?

Very restrictive, lol. I mean, it's obviously very powerful for the abilities you gain but I'd say it's more tailored towards hand to hand combat. The fact that you can still use elemental ninjutsu is am added bonus but I wonder how would the star chakra from MPM fall into there, and MPM techniques in particular. My guess would be that star chakra could be utilized normally since it is the users normal chakra, only empowered, but the MPM techs themselves would be unusable.

Pretty much yea, your actual MPM techniques can't be used but your normal elemental ninjutsu can be. It's not really ONLY tailored for hand to hand though that is where it will thrive the most imo. It's also quick healing technique if you're in a pinch, needing a quick dodge from the initial speed boost while also keeping healthy. It's pretty good in the end haha. Any more questions before we move on?
