Was it meant to be a hint? The last phrase of the compliment regarding the whips; maybe he was hinting something to me. He knew I was into sadism, maybe he was the opposite, the masochist type? Only time would tell...
I proceeded to staying near the lake, I felt sluggish from all the chakra I was exhausting, I plomped myself onto the ground, placing my feet together like I were at home, just relaxing and about to pour myself a cup of sake. I really didn't feel like getting up, and it's not like I would need to have a proper stance or the jutsu wouldn't work. Surely people can invoke jutsu by casually sitting there, so long as they're still doing everything right, right?
"Sorry, Kiritsugu-sensei. I'm not gonna go all out for this technique." I said with a rather calm tone to myself, like I was out of it. The effort I'd been putting into my techniques lately, I could deserve a bit of rest and relaxation.
And just like that, I was in a half-assed mood to do anything, but the technique needed to be done apparently, so of course I go about doing it. I channel my water chakra while facing the clone within me, allowing it to flow and circulate and so forth. Performing the hand seals is a cinch, it takes no effort apart from some minor intricate movements which require me being slightly uncomfortable, but the rest is pretty easy. I finish on the Dragon seal, which allows me to create a large pillar of water, erecting itself from the ground. I begin with just forming the pillar, rising to about 5 meters, towering myself in my seated position. Forming the pillar next comes the other features, the opening of the snakes mouth, the beady eyes which it has and so on, it's not so important as the attack of the jutsu. Using the snake as a medium for digging into the clone, I launch this pillar of water towards the clone, opening the snake's mouth wider as the clone delves deeper into it's stomach. If it were a real snake, he'd be dead by now, so be thankful it's not. The snake engulfs the clone, digging into the ground causing it to make what would seem to be a trench of dirt dug out so someone could hide in it. The clone's unconcious body can be found within the gelatinous body of the snake. I release my chakra holding the snake in position, allowing it to subside into the trench formed by the water, just letting it sit there like a small river bed. The clone also lays within the newly created river, like it had just been sent off to the next world.
