Satriani and Vai overrated? If anybody of the three were over rated, I'd say it was Malmsteen.

they are really really good but I wouldnt put them up there with Page and Hendrix

Jimi Hendrix was great for his time, but he definitely isn't the greatest guitarist of all time. In fact, there have been countless greater guitarists. As for Page, I wouldn't really put him on par with Satriani, Vai, or even Malmsteen, let alone even Hendrix.

Well, Vai actually got lessons from Satriani, and Satriani's idols are Page and Hendrix. So as far as fame goes Page and Hendrix are 'bigger'. However, Satriani's music is on a way higher level. Not talking down on the others, it's a question of taste. But that's just my opinion. Fact is they are all legends fully devoted to their music, and that's all that counts.
