So becoz his best feat is to dig somewhere less than 5m he can dig more twice the distance but tsunade can't hear his heartbeat inside earth
Next how long can jirobo remain below earth for 10m with lack of oxygen with passing time oh wait not much since every time the jutsu was used the user cones out after 2 or 3 mins if remember correctly.

Jirobo isn't beating any Kage let alone Tsunade, five Susanoo clones from Madara couldn't put down Tsunade for good and those clones are easily above Jirobo. One hit from Tsunade will end him while he prolly can't even land a hit on her let alone enough to finish her off and even if he was lucky to land a hit she could heal with Byakugo.

Is there any proof it would work from a longer range? So far he was only able to absorb chakra from targets trapped in his earth dome. ( if I remember correctly the dome was infused with his own chakra and that's why he was able to drain his targets by touching the wall of the dome )

Jirobo being able to absorb chakra with his hands or through the dome doesn't imply he can absorb chakra while underground in the way you are implying.

Jirobo + his 3 buddies fought 2 Jonin and after that fight they were fighting to catch their breath. Imagine being deluded enough to argue that Jirobo or any Sound 5 member beats any Kage leveled shinobi on his or her own. The wank is real. Tsunade kills him in the first 3 seconds of the match.
