From the time Sasuke used Kirin to the time Sasuke was backed up against the wall, your saying that 2 minutes passed.
Ok, again, let's review for all the slow people here.
Sasuke used Kirin, Itachi used Susanoo to block it, than, Itachi gave a speech.
After the speech, Sasuke used his cursed seal to attack Itachi, with no avail.
After that, Sasuke was battling Orochimaru, trying not to let him escape, again, to no avail.
After that, Orochimaru popped out and summoned a bunch of snakes, Itachi was battling them for a while as Zetsu commented about Orochimaru.
After Itachi slayed the snakes, Itachi tells Orochimaru to come out and show himself.
Orochimaru does, and makes a sword fly outta his mouth, shortly after, Itachi impales him with Susanoo's sword [Forgot what it's called]
Orochimaru than starts saying a bunch of shit as he's being sucked into the Genjutsu.
Then, Itachi says ''I'll take your eyes slowly, I want to savor this.'' signifying that Itachi was taking his time during this whole thing.
Itachi SLOWLY walks towards Sasuke as Sasuke is throwing multiple ninja weapons, with no avail.
Then, finally, as Sasuke is out of chakra and hope, he gets pinned up against a wall with the Uchiha clan symbol imprinted on it.
THEN Susanoo get's deactivated ONLY because he succumbed to his sickness.

When Itachi turns on his Susano'o, he's invincible for a short amount of time. and when he uses tusukiyomi or amaterasu, it extremely drains his chakra. in the itachi/sasuke fight he used a little genjutsu in the beginning, he used tsukiyomi ONCE, grand fireball jutsu ONCE and amaterasu TWICE, then he was out of chakra and had to resort to susano'o. itachi goes through chakra too fast.
now lets talk jiraiya

Now after that conversation, itachi and kisame were surprised that jiraiya saw through the illusion girl. and came to help naruto. he used ONE jutsu(toad mouth trap) and itachi had to resort to his exhausting amaterasu just to get out and RUN. and after jiraiya sealed up amaterasu, he probably studied the jutsu and found a way to seal it even quicker if he ever needed to.
then theres hermit mode(which itachi doesn't even know about). hermit mode is not as powerful as "sage mode" like naruto will probably master. but it still has most of the same effects as sage mode. he becomes extremely stronger with taijutsu and his speed is not human. plus in hermit mode you can't run out of chakra plus it heals wounds rapidly overtime. like i said before, the rinnegan user could stop his attacks but he could NEVER touch jiraiya until jiraiya was caught off-guard thinking he KILLED the rinnegan user.
so in hermit mode he DEFINATELY has the chakra to withstand tsukiyomi, he most-likely has the speed and knowledge to deal with amaterasu because of the sealing method. and susano'o is a matter of hide-n-seek. itachi's sharingan isn't like byakugan. he can't see jiraiya if he hides. even though susano'o may not use chakra, it still isexhausting to itachi. so when he's fully exhausted and out of chakra, POW RIGHT IN THE KISSER(ulitmate rasengan).
now you ask, "oh uhh duhh uhh where duz jirara hide?"
he was the master of spying if you've forgotten. his "transparency jutsu" which he can shape shift into and blunt object and spy on the enemy without having ANY chance of being caught or seen.

Itachi had given away half his chakra to Naruto before the fight happened PLUS he was being killed by his illness WHILE HE WAS FIGHTING!
Of course he would be out of chakra after only a few jutsu's, he was fighting his body to stay alive more than he was fighting Sasuke.
Yea, the Toad Mouth Jutsu caught Itachi off guard, but think about it, if Itachi wanted to really fight Jiraya, he could have just used Amaterasu on Jiraiya, then used Amaterasu to get out.
The only reason he ran [Like I've said before] Is because he didn't want to fight with Jiraiya because of 2 reasons, one, because Gai, Kakashi, and probably every Jonin in Konoha were on there ass.
Two, he didn't want to fight Jiraiya because he was someone he obviously looked up to and he was someone who was extremely important to Konoha.
It's the same reason why he didn't want to really kill Kakashi or Gai.

No, Pein didn't touch him because Pein, as far as I know, doesn't use much Taijutsu, he's basically a Ninjutsu user, so naturally, he never touched him, because he never needed to touch him, he was just hammering him with powerful jutsu's from a distance, a much better strategy then charging at him like a wild man.
What the **** does chakra have to do with withstanding Tsukuyomi?
In order to withstand Tsukuyomi, you need to have a partner, pure and simple.
So if Pa and Ma were there, then yes, he would have little problem, BUT without Pa and Ma, Jiraiya wouldn't stand a chance since Jiraiya stated himself that he sucks against Genjutsu.
No, that sealing method would not work against Amaterasu because the sealing method took a while to do, Amaterasu is just WAY to fast to do a sealing method on it.
And as far as I could tell, the seal only effected a small area of flame, if the huge wall of flame that is Amaterasu is rolling towards you, I doubt you would be able to seal the ENTIRE thing in one seal...thing.
And no, he can't out run it.
From what we've seen, anyone who has had Amaterasu cased on them, could not PHYSICALLY out run it.
They've either used a jutsu to evade it [Sasuke, Madara] or just been hit by it [Hachibi, Karin].
Think about it, do you know how fast Hachibi was?
Even Hachibi couldn't evade it, and he was able to get right up in Sasuke's face and blast him before he even knew what hit em'.
No, Susanoo, is not a matter of ''Hide and Seek''.
Susanoo is very large, large enough that it basically a birds eye view of the people on the ground, unless Jiraiya could bury himself underground like Bugs Bunny and burrow his way back to Albakerky, I doubt he could hide from it.
Plus, Susanoo's sword has [From what I can estimate] atleast the reach of a football field.
Jiraiya would have to SERIOUSLY leg it out if he wanted escape a reach like that, I find that quite impossible for Jiraiya to do.
Ok, Sharingan may not be like Byakugan, but have you forgot that it can still see chakra from far away?
Even if Jiraiya is underground, he can look at the ground and see where his chakra is.

Oh, and I doubt Itachi would pull out Susanoo when he's super close to death, he would probably pull it out only if Tsukuyomi and Amaterasu didn't work.
