many people believe that jiraiya is to be dead but that may not even be the case,well it is true that jiraiya did lose his battle with nagato and was going down in the water but what could have happened to jiraiya and why wasn't he Resurrected.
now relize how much blood was at jiraiya vs nagato six path's of pain fight if you remember inside the building jiriaya was fighting and had his arm exploded from the asura path and that dna was on the building and also moved around the area,jiraiya blood was not only in the water but on land it was so much for kabuto it was like a gold mine compared to the other edo tensai's who where much harder to achieve like edo madara and deidara for dna.
now if kabuto can some how find fragments of dna from ages ago and collect them to summon an edo tensai why does he not collect jiraiya blood from all over nagato vs jiraiya fight i mean there no way that kabuto could have missed that fight or not have known about that battle i mean the blood was there and also some flesh of jiraiya that was taken away so kabuto did not need tobi rods to bring back jiriaya and he was probably playing mind games with tobi again like he did with the secret of edo tensai and tobi identity.
now kabuto could have wanted jiraiya like what kabuto did with orochimaru to get sage mode so with orochimaru chakra kabuto learned snake sage mode faster and gained snake abilities easier and with jiriaya dna at kabuto hands kabuto could try to learn frog sage mode threw this way and if kabuto wants to find the secrets of the sage of six path's possibly finding all the secrets spots and powers of the 3 sage modes will give him knowledge on the sage of six path's like he wants.
so it could have been possible that the dna that kabuto used to revive jiraiya didn't work since jiraiya was alive so it was a waste so instead of using the dna at nagato vs jiraiya fight since he wasted it he wants some from tobi's six path's of pain stick.
jiriaya could be alive since nagato wanted to revive people that he has recently killed and he gave up his life doing so and we know that uzumaki's have lots of chakra and can also sense so maybe nagato would be able to sense out victims to give life back to like jiraiya and revive them maybe jiraiya was revived, swouldn't nagato want to reivive the teacher that he has killed because it's not impossible for jiraiya to comeback edo madara believed that he would be resurrected even though he would have been dead for some time even longer than jiraiya death so jiriaya may have been given life again.
jiraiya hasn't really finished his purpose yet like hsi book he was clearly not done even saying so in his death he still had more to write and accomplish just like kakashi who just had more to do even though kakashi died it wasn't really his time and jiraiya may be the same case his novel is not complete so he may come back to finish it and even naruto and nagato were guessing what jiriaya sequel was what was jiraiya awnswer even be well jiraiya really knows he may not be dead.
if jiriaya is not dead then where is he, well jiraiya may be on a hidden village around the naruto universe ti is a huge place and if jiraiya body went and washed up on a shore on another land they may have taken him hostage or jiriaya could have lossed his memory.
so do you think jiraiya might be alive or do you think he is really dead and there owuld bne no revival of him.
