He needed to die! Naruto would not have learned Sage Mode and Pain would have killed lots of people and NOT brought em back to life, for example: Kakashi! (NOO) and others.

I liked Jiraiya as well, but he served his purpose as a catalyst for Naruto. He will be missed but the story rolls on.

Tired of him. He already taught Naruto all he had, except for his exclusive hair sage mode techniques. Leave some hope for the next generation.

One of if not my fav. He will be missed but it makes the series alot better i feel. Dont get me wrong i would have loved to see him still but he went out fighting and as far as usefullness he would have continued researching and spying on outside activity but that would have been it he taught naruto everything he could.
