If Pain comes out over intervals like they did against Jiraiya then the team loses simply because Kakashi will more than likely use Kamui before Deva arrives, probably at the point where Jiraiya started to lose. So instead of Jiraiya being killed Kakashi saves him with Kamui....and I believe that's when the paths were revived by Naraka, cause w/o Frog Song the only chance the team has to get out of a situation where 3 paths of pain are attacking them would be Kamui.

Kakashi, with this individuals won't have to as shown in his fight with Deva where he resorted to it at the very last. His use of clones would be of help in getting intel in this battle

In this case, there's a significant difference in the sense that he has more partners. Jman can even save the use of his special Genjutsu for the very last.

-5G Gai isn't enough to defeat Asura Path. His armor is too strong and his attacks are too deadly and his physical strength is off the charts. Kakashi hit him w/ Raikiri and he was still durable enough to protect Deva. Raikiri>>>>Anything 5G Gai has in terms of lethality.

Yes but 5G Gai can keep him busy leaving Jiraiya not having to struggle with 3 all by himself. His attacks can be dodged by Gai in this case and considering the AOE

, it won't be wise to use that in the midst of other Paths. Any other would be dodged with ease and Kakashi can take him out like he did before in canon. Even the strength granted by SM enabled one to take down Asura easily

Gai doesn't even need to battle Asura especially if he can't take him down. Kakashi can take him down. Gai can take down Animal Path or anyone else that's not Deva.

Don't see him being entirely useless when he can at least hold up an opponent making this easier. His 360 vision being able to see and sense anything within different towns and villages would help with info considering them trying to gather intel. There was a time where Jman struggled to find Pain when invisible, something Hiashi would easily detect.

Then after Kamui is used to take out maybe Animal or Asura, Deva comes and murks them all w/ Shinra Tensei.

That's assuming Kakashi resorts to Kamui without fully knowing his opponents ability. There's no reason to resort to Kamui when the Paths can be taking out via different means. CST or CT is the only thing Deva has to kill them all. Ordinary ST won't do much

and with feints one can should get around Deva's technique like in the bottom

CST won't be a good choice considering Pain has to shutdown the other Paths

which would leave him vulnerable, which shows he won't use this around the other Paths when Konan had to summon them out the village. He definitely won't resort to such attacks. Meanwhile, Frog song can paralyze these paths temporarily leaving them open for attacks easily.
