Nagato/Pain can alter the nature of his Chakra to prevent sensors or Doujutsu's from detecting them. The only type of sensory that worked was Sennin Mode, and that's because it's the heightened form of sensory in the manga, and because he had to stab himself with the black rod to sense the location Nagato is transmitting from. Any normal means are useless.

Hiashi and Gai get the same treatment as Hinata. As I said; they rely on CQC and it's canonically established to be useless against Deva Path. The 5th Gate limit you gave to Gai wouldn't threaten the paths of any sort, and his CQC power is the same as P1 Rock Lee. Hiashi's CQC style is also useless because he shuts opponent's Chakra system, but the issue is Pain doesn't have a Chakra system; what they have is Chakra transmission. The Byakugan would then be useless here. Asura Path can literally overpower them as he did to SM Jraiya, when he ripped his arm off with a punch, and can restrain them until Human Path rips their souls out.

The opposing side saying Kakashi sniping are also wrong. The OP states Kamui's condition is the same as in Pain Arc, meaning it's not threatening. He can snipe a limb at best, but that's useless when Naraka Path can heal any damage. Kamui is also useless against Deva Path or Preta Path; Shinra Tensei would distort Kamui (gravity distorts space time) and Preta Path would absorb it.​

Refer to the scan I posted, please. Konoha's variety of sensors have failed to sense Nagato, because he alters the frequency of his Chakra to make sure no one can detect him. If your premise is true, that Hiashi is able to see the black rods and be able to tell they are receiving transmission, then the following would happen:

• Kakashi would see the black rods via Sharingan and notify Konoha about it...even during his battle against Obito's Six Paths of Pain. Do not refute this with Byakugan's insight superiority to Sharingan, because that is irrelevant to this example when the Sharingan can see Chakra at x-ray too.
  
  
• Neji would have detected Nagato by the time he arrived to Konoha, but was unable too.
  
  
• KCM Naruto would have located the black rods via KCM, since it allows him to sense Chakra in his fight against Obito's Six Paths of Pain.

There is only one canonical way to detect Pain/Nagato and that is by using the strongest type of sensory, which is Sennin Mode, and that is only by linking yourself with the black rods as Naruto did when he stabbed himself. Any other normal means are useless. This is the last time I'm addressing this.

Moving on...direct confrontation in CQC results to a loss to team 1. Like I said; Gai, with the 5th Gate limit the OP gave to him, would be as good as P1 Rock Lee, which wouldn't threaten any of the Paths. - Neji had zero intel on Pain. Matter of fact Naruto had located Pain around the same time Neji intervened or even knew what was going on regarding Pain's ability if he even knew then. They met the toad who told them Konoha was under attack. Nothing else

and in that same scan, you see Neji only activated his ability as soon as he entered the village as you can see the strain next to his eye with the japanese symbol indicating he just activated it in the battlefield to find a medic.

- Neji only showed he can see as far as 800M so using "he could have located Pain" is a bad point considering the distance between Pain and the village wasn't exactly known to us. Not to mention with his eyes, he even asked Katsuyu to take them to Naruto indicating he didn't know where he was despite Naruto being further way from Pain then "Bottom left"

This is how the Byakugan works. Anyone/thing within its range would be detected. Neji can detect anything within that 800M range

The only time Kakashi needs to worry about Kamui is when Pain pulls out CT which is a bad idea considering his other bodies are in the battle fields or rather considering the fact that they shut down first before he does it leaving him open to attacks from all these individuals who showed full knowledge if we use Manga intel as stated in the Obito vs KCM Naruto fight. Summons counter Summons or Kakashi puts the summons in a Genjutsu to fight for there team. Clones there to assist and Ma and Pa there to paralyze the clones for incoming attacks. Many more strategies.
