if he alone was able to kill them all , killing the leaders would of made the rest submit , and even if they don't he could still kill the men only
and why did he kill those two old people that used to talk to sasuke in his way to school
i bet there was a lot of peaceful people in the uchiha , and that is if you don't count the elder and the young
capture them? if they tried that they would obviously fight back... there and then the coup de tat would have started.....
the perfect person to do the job was someone they sort of trusted, someone they'd have there sharingan guard down for
No, the entire clan was in on the coup de tat..., killing fugaku, would not make the other police officers submit, and do you see what happened to sasuke? It was neccesary to leave no survivors, more of him may arose, uchiha consumed by hate and revenge

come on , itachi was the only one that had ms between them , and so little had the three tomoe sharingan
i mean come on they were killed by an 11 year old , how would they start a civil war
and how would an old man or a young kid , fight back
Firstly.... He was 13 when he killed his clan, he had just became a anbu captain, many had 3 tomoe sharingan, did you not see when the guys came to question itachi?, 2ndly there were others who had ms, it's been hinted by itachi and tobi, he said "Many have tried and failed to get the mangekyou sharingan" that doesnt mean that in the history of the uchiha only 5 people got it...., itachi also told kakashi "Let me show you, the reason why the uchiha were feared as the strongest clan, the power a true heir of the sharingan can obtain" once again, he makes it sound like there have been more people..... it doesnt seem that hard to unlock tbh, just see someone die , kakashi,shishui,itachi,izuna,madara,sasuke all got it, and thats most the uchiha we knew...
11 year old itachi was already extremely powerfull.. enough to beat a kage level sannin, 13 year old itachi got promoted to a anbu captain, further proving he was no ordinary ninja, stop underrating itachi

1st it doesn't matter if he was 11 or 13 , he was still able to kill al the uchiha
2nd , and i din't say no one got the 3 tomoe sharingan
3rd what itachi says indicates that they didn't obtain it , but they where still feared for it's potability
4th i never underestimated itachi i overestimated him when i said 11
5th it seems that you are avoiding the question "why did he kill the elder and the children and the normal people"
it doesn't matter how many got the mangekyou , and if itachi was 11 or 13
he was still able o kill them all , which means if he killed the strong ones , the rest won't resets , an even if they did kill them when they do
old people would have beared hatred for konoha killing out their friends,sons,daughters, if the made a child, they could raise that child to hate.... just like sasuke, eventaully, if the clan was allowed to live on, and info about what happened that day was given to the next generation of uchiha.. they would plan a coup de tat also...
you can't kill someone , because he will hate you , it is just not right
if they are to try and kill someone , than kill them
