I'm not saying Jiraiya has sensing on Naruto or Kabuto's level, it just really bothers me when people say he has no sensing abilities at all, when that's obviously not the case. And Frog Kata doesn't necessarily kill the opponent, Naruto landed a solid kick on Tendo and it didn't do much. Furthermore, Naruto's punch didn't kill Preta, it got turned into a petrified frog.
- Show us 1 jiraya sensing feat then
- Narutos kick was blocked by Pains arm which sent him flying
- Preta path did get killed (go read the manga), he was revived by Nakara path

Jman stomps. Everyone else must be high

Btw: if Jman himself doesn't have the feat, it's same to assume Ma & Pa does. People really seem to forget Jman let his guard down, which is why he let his guard down.

Sensing or not, how does he react to consecutive FTG's (he can't)? How does he stop Mutually explosive tags which massively dwarf Gamabunta? And even if Ma and Pa have it (they do), what good will it do for Jiraiya?

Im on my phone so no scans, but here are some Jman sensing feats:
-His barrier which detected a chameleon even KCM Naruto couldn't detect
-He sensed and reacted to Human Path's attempt at blitzing
-Ma used that weird tongue jutsu which can sniff out an invisible enemy
-Jiraiya was capable of sneaking up behind Animal Path with zero vision - Fukusaku had just used a smoke bomb

Ma and Pa are perfect Sages whose chakra networks are merged with Jiraiya's, so it's logical he can access their sensing abilities. Tendo's arm blocking the kick should have no effect, since Naruto is strong enough to lift a giant stone toad and just an ordinary block with your arm shouldn't do anything - Naruto's kick simply wasn't at full power, and neither was Jiraiya's.

Consecutive ftg? Lol that's funny. One i really like how people give Tobimara Minato's fighting style, with his tactic of spreading kunia. Tobimara has only shown a standard use of ftg and it's implications of ftg, let alone have multiple marked kunia.

Nonetheless, to answer your question. Jman easily deflects his kunia. Seeing as Jman has intel on usage of ftg from a superior user (his student) if Tobimara were to try to toss one in his direction his hair deflects it, the moment Tobimara tries to appear without knowledge Jman uses Wild Lion Mane/Needle Jizo. If he were to spread kunia, they'll sunk to the bottle of his swamp

Likewise, with Edo they'll be sinking too the moment the appear beside Tobimara . Seeing as we don't know the extent to which Tobimara can control is Edo, i doubt they'll be able to counter

I favor tobirama for this match but I'm kind of annoyed that noone is mentioning anything but FTG here. Tobirama has been lauded as the greatest master of water style ninjutsu ever, which directly counters the large scale fire style attacks that jaraiya has often demonstrated. I feel like people tend to not respect the power of water style ninjutsu. He could bury the area into an ocean, which forces a response from jaraiya if he wants to not drown, and then would have a home field advantage. Also, I'm pretty sure tobirama was able to cut the 10 tails tree thing in half at one point with a pressurized water beam style attack.

Just saying, there's more to this fight than "does tobirama auto win with ftg or not".

Lol? I was implying the style he used against Madara, where he teleported to his marked Kunai several times in the midst of a high speed fight. Only someone with SM and immense speed could've kept up, Jiraiya fits neither categories. 1 Marked Kunai is all he needs [ ][ ].

He doesn't need to toss his kunai. He can simply create clones and shunshin to Jiraiya. Each carrying a kunai would mean Jiraiya would have to know which one is the FTG kunai and react accordingly, which is highly unlikely. Nothing will be capable of stopping Tobirama from simply cutting off Jiraiya's head with a jutsu like hirashingiri from behind (jiraiya can't sense, feat wise). As you said, he doesn't share minato's fighting style nor does he spread his ftg kunai's.

Tobirama can simply put chakra at the bottom of his feet given his sensory abilities. It is also out of character for Jiraiya to use his swamp on a mere edo tensei and Tobirama. Anyways, edo could end via mutually explosive tags, Tobirama could end via CQC.

You mean a sneak attack? That's what that was. If Tobimara was to try that strategy against an opponent he would need to distract them. Luckily, Jman has summoning to cover his back if he felt that was needed.

To address your first claim. Tobimara didn't teleprt to that single kunia several times, it was once. Regardless, if he was to use such a standard running tactic when Jman, he'll simply use long jutsu (katon) to slow him down or redirect his attack. Also, in such close range a huge rasengan with be an easy connect, with his other hand or hair possibly countering ftg.

The moment Tobimara performs clones, Jman drops a toad on him. It's S/t, so no matter how fast Tobimara reacts he'll be caught unless kunia are placed.

Jman used swamp against Pein bodies, so he'd do the same against Edo. There is no difference. Also, that feat of countering a chakra enhanced swamp is questionable as Pein failed to do so.

if Jiraiya tried to use swamp on his edos, they'd just blow the whole thing into pieces

Gg!

I guess he shouldn't summon them! Lol
Btw they'd be summoned near Tobimara, if they exploded reverse suommoning for Jman

Can't water gun just stop the edo's explosion since they are made of fire paper tags?

In what ways exactly is a Perfect Sage superior to an imperfect one? The only difference I'm aware of is that imperfect Sages cannot perfectly balance their nature energy, resulting in some froglike physical characteristics. And here's Jiraiya using Frog Kata: - You're also forgetting that Fukusaku and Shima can sense, and they are attached to Jiraiya's shoulders.

-Sensing. (Only Naruto has displayed this, Jiraiya hasn't)

-Frog Kata (Only Naruto has displayed this, Jiraiya hasn't)

-Better enhancements all around due to the perfect balance of Nature Energy. (Naruto's strength increased to a level where he can toss boss toad sized summons many kilometers into the air. Jiraiya showed no such strength increase)

-Naruto has also shown better reflexive feats.

Have they even shown the ability to sense? Meh, regardless. That doesn't mean that he can use their sensing abilities, unless you have some proof.
