I think so too but he would need to pull out sage mode to even hope of going up againtst izanagi and that would be toughf especially if Danzo decides to use shiui's eye first.

what does shiuis eye do for combat?? or do you mean using it to manipulate?

Thats a weak matchup of course jiraiya would win I mean seriously Danzo got owned by sasuke honestly I wasnt very impressed with danzo at all and Jiraiya was obviously one of the strongest ninja in the world I believe he could have beat pain if he had just figured out his secret fast enough

jiraya fans are just too much, well it´s more likely that people hate danzo so much that they won´t give him credit for being stronger than sannins, i mean, none of the sannins can beat danzo, it´s like saying that jiraya can defeat naruto (which he can´t of course)

1. genjutsu is useless when you have 2 toads on your shoulders who can insert chakra in to you and break genjutsu
2. sasuke beat izanagi and figured out its secret and he wasnt as strong as jiraiya at that point

and all this bull about izanagi, i think everyone forgets that danzo was awful with it. there is no way danzo stands up to jiraiya sage mode, ma, pa, gamabunta, gamahiro, and gamaken.

you don´t get it, shisui´s genjutsu is incredible in that, that the one effected by it, DOESN´T KNOW he´s under it, so if he would be clever with it, + Baku beats all 3 of them i believe

and yet shisui lost to itachi. if danzo has jiraiya try to kill himself ma and pa would realize he's under a genjutsu. plus chakra from nature (outside chakra) is continuously coming in to jiraiya which would break any genjutsu immediately. shisui's eye is useless and baku cant beat three powerful summons at once. numbers give jiraiya clear advantage.

Well, I would say Jiraiya, but he never mastered the Sage jutsu completely and sage mode only lasts a certain amount of time. [idk if that is right, but basing off of Naruto's using time]. They are both great ninja, but if it is left up to time, I think Danzo would take Jiraiya to school...even though I hate Danzo....what a d i c k.

I'm a Jaraiya fan but 10 izanagi. + shuisis eye. Danzos no amatuer and the eye wwas used so he was at a disadvantage against Sasuke. Look how far Sasuke got pushed. I'm a Jaraiya fan but I think he would go down after around 7 inzanagi get used up.
