Good idea, and I agree...Although it will be shot down, cause haters will say "it's outside, her mist wont work."

true....but to be honest she is the most underated kage out of the five. To me she is more useful than any of the kages
She has four elements and one of them is a kekkai genkai and has another kekkai genkai which is her acid mist.
She obviously know how to use silent killing technique like those 7 swordsman because it would be a waste for her to even learn the regular mist tech.
Out of all the ninja we have seen she is the versatile ninja we have seen along with Muu.

I think she will throw jiraya off with all her different elemental technques.
Earth,fire,water,lava.
She also knows the mist technique and silent killing technique as well.
And has that acid mist tech which will cause jirayai to stick to longe range techniques cause if he gets close she could easisly spray him him the acid mist.

There is a small chance, jiraiya wouldnt even have to go into SM in order to win, in the instant mei throws her weirds boil and mist etc.. techs, jiraiya can go underwater with his hiding in a toad tech

Wait for a chance for mei to be offguard, and rise up with a rasengan, or drag her underwater, and kill her in a toad stomatch.

It just so happens one of her amazing abilities, is water release. The hot springs are already misty, she would be able to hide better than he could.

Well Jiraiya can summon incredible many toads and also parts of toads, especially if they go inside a room or something, Mei will be in trouble. Also Jiraiya and his Rasengan powers.

Jiraiya is faster in my opinion, so and if needed he will be able to give himself time to enter SM...

Jiraiya is a master of Taijutsu/Senjutsu when in SM, also Senpou Goemon would be trouble, and Chou Oodoma Rasengan!... also well as an ultimate offense in SM he got Genjutsu and Ma & Pa will aid him.

Jiraiya takes this. (Even with a boner, he will still win this.)
