I don't think that Jiraiya can be alive, because at the end, he had his arm blown off, and was unable to make any seals to do jutsus...

thats why i said irrelevant!! it shows the future, not present flow of events. i guess i am discussing here abt real manga chapters like why jman lost to hanzou? not some random naruto cover...*confused*

PS. my conclusion jman wud pawn hanzou in sage mode. hands down.
