Jiraiya could have done a lot better with Naruto

If you think about all the techs Jiraiya displayed in the Hidden Rain, and a couple of techs he used against Itachi you will come to realize that he didn't teach Naruto much.

Rasengan, Odama rasengan, a basic genjutsu disillusionment technique which was completely ineffective against Itachi, and some basic stuff in part one.

So now the question is what was the point of Naruto going off with him in the first place? IMO Naruto would have did much better staying with Kakashi during timeskip. At least he would be a Chunin and get to actually lead some missions.

Not dying/getting caught was really the point.
With Jiriaya is was a better chance hed would not be attacked since he was the strongest ninja still part of konoha.

No group akatuski mbr is scared of kakashi 2vs1,and thats really what is comes down to.

Compared to Orochimaru training Sasuke, Jiraiya fails IMO but at least he made Naruto some what better at that time.

Sasuke Intelligence>>>>Naruto's Intelligence


Jiraiya would have done a great job with Sasuke because Sasuke is easier to teach.Naruto on the otherhand even at his current age isn't the sharpest knife in the draw and Naruto was even dumber when he was younger.


Just think about it, if Motoi didn't tell Naruto Killer Bee had tamed all the animals on Turtle Island, he would have never saw through Shibi Aburame's lie and he would still be on the the island looking at animal's genitalia.
