I hate matchups with Deidara and Kisame as the underwater explosion physics is not for me :lol, without it team two wins though.

Manga intel favors team 2, as Orochimaru should know everything in Deidara's arsenal via his CM on Sasuke who fought Deidara, as well as being former teammates with Jiraiya. Deidara is a troublesome match up for practically anyone who doesn't have aerial capabilities or raiton affinity, but both his opponents have sensing capabilities and can retreat underground to escape his bombs. Furthermore, Diedara can't fight properly with a grounded teammate like Jiraiya, who would get caught in his blast radius. This would force Jiraiya to mount Deidara's clay creations, and fight aerially as well, which he isn't accustomed to. Using Draegods Orochimaru, the opposition eventually gets shot out the sky via a bunch of Kusanagi blade clones and Fuuton Release: Great Breakthrough. That or Deidara gets outlasted, and team two wins regardless.

To my knowledge, Kisame can only sense underwater in his fused form and Oro has never shown any sensing ability.

With Deidara and his summons to help stall for time, Jiraiya is making it into Sage Mode and that's just a fact. However, still not sure if SM Jiraiya can take out Kisame. I've flip flopped on that matchup lots of times. Toad oil flame bullet to evaporate water dome won't work when Daikodan hard counters the attack and then eats the toad, and Yomi Numa isn't much use either in this match. However a C3 explosion would destroy the water dome and GSB can be dodged by either Jiraiya or Deidara so long as they stay at long range. Not sure; SM Jiraiya would pulverize Orochimaru, but Kusanagi presents a threat to an airborne Deidara and can slice off a wing of his clay bird just like Hebi Sasuke did with Chidori Sharp Spear. Once Deidara loses aerial capability, he dies. Then Kisame and Oro work together to take down Jiraiya so I'm giving it to Team 2 high diff.
