Manga intel favors team 2, as Orochimaru should know everything in Deidara's arsenal via his CM on Sasuke who fought Deidara, as well as being former teammates with Jiraiya. Deidara is a troublesome match up for practically anyone who doesn't have aerial capabilities or raiton affinity, but both his opponents have sensing capabilities and can retreat underground to escape his bombs. Furthermore, Diedara can't fight properly with a grounded teammate like Jiraiya, who would get caught in his blast radius. This would force Jiraiya to mount Deidara's clay creations, and fight aerially as well, which he isn't accustomed to. Using Draegods Orochimaru, the opposition eventually gets shot out the sky via a bunch of Kusanagi blade clones and Fuuton Release: Great Breakthrough. That or Deidara gets outlasted, and team two wins regardless.
