Chapter 6
The blade darted towards the duo as Honmalon swung his hand. Naruto took out a Kunai and hurled it at the oncoming attack; it was deflected and the blade soared forward still.

Honmalon let out a menacing cry as the blade struck Kakashi’s left arm. Instantly, the chain began to glow and glow. Kakashi looked and noticed his chakra sipping into the blade. He made a grab at the blade to tug it out.

“Not so fast, shinobi!” Honmalon cried as the chakra chain began to vibrate and glow bluish. Suddenly, the chains turned into lightning and sent an electric current through Kakashi’s arm, paralyzing it.

“I hate Uchihas. I hate Sharingans. Do you know why?” Honmalon asked as the blade recoiled out of Kakashi’s hand.

“Long ago, the Uchihas had a clan of slaves they took everywhere with them. These slaves did front line battle for the Uchihas and enabled Uchihas to gain Intel on thier adversaries. Unfortunately, after creating Konoha the slave clan was banished, never to return to the Uchihas.”

And with that he propelled the blade at Naruto, a sinister grin on his face. Naruto moved out of the way slightly as the blade swooshed pass him.

“Fool! It’s guided!”

Suddenly, the blade made an unexpected turn around Naruto and in no time Naruto was bound up. Honmalon yanked at the chain and pulled Naruto towards him, pulling out another dagger in the process.

“Wind release: Wind gust” Naruto clasped both palms together and released streams of wind that surrounded his body and destroyed the chains.

Then he grabbed what was left of the chain and pulled Honmalon towards him. He aimed his first strike at Honmalon’s face but missed.Punch after punch, Honmalon easily evaded Naruto’s attacks until suddenly, an invisible hit sent his rolling on the floor.

He looked up at Naruto. He was sure he dodged the last hit. There was no way he missed the punch. He had even seen it pass his face.

Naruto stood there panting, staring at Honmalo with angry eyes; angry sage eyes. He signed in relief a bit. If he hadn’t made the reverse summoning jutsu to send a clone to gather energy, he never would have entered sage mode. He noticed something in Honmalon’s eyes.

Honmalo stood up and looked at Naruto’s eyes and smiled.

“There’s no doubt about it. That’s sage mode, eh? I’m impressed. But there’s only one more human alive who cane use sage mode… Uzimaki Naruto, Kyuubi no Jinchuuriki, eh?”

Naruto frowned. “Even after the 4th war, there’s no way I would become that popular. And I doubt that you have been profiling me, or that you work for Akatsuki!”

Then he made a few hand seals and four clones appeared. “Tell me who you work for, Information gatherer!”

Honmalon’s eyes widened as he heard those last words. He frowned as he stepped back wards, ready to attack Naruto.

“Arrghhh!!!” Two clones charged forward, orange markings around each eye and kunais in both hands.

Naruto turned and placed his hands on Kakashi’s paralyzed hand.

“This is gonna hurt, Kakashi-sensei. And this is the first time I’m trying it.”

Suddenly, He began to flood Kakashi’s arm with Chakra from his own reserve, separating the nature chakra from entering Kakashi. After a while, Kakashi’s arm began to move again.

After narrating their findings, Zeya had help Sakura heal Sai up to a stable level. Then using a binding technique, she bound Takenoushi and placed him by a tree next to them as he kept on rattling about how Honmalon would kill them.

A tiger burst forth and ran towards them with Hokori on it. Another one caught up a few seconds later, carrying Takuya. Placing Takenouchi on Sabiru’s back, next to Koushiro, they bound off again with both girls on Kenshi’s back with Hokori.

**********
Tatsu stood and went through a few files, gathering up a few notes and scrolls and tossing them into a bag. He smiled to himself as though he had struck gold. Whatever was in the bag had definitely made his day. He walked out of the library without anyone noticing and took off to his apartment to put his plan in action. This was a one shot opportunity for him; a do or die affair, win or lose.

He wasn’t going to lose! I’m not gonna lose, he said to himself as he arrived in his apartment.

Entering quietly, he snuck into his room as he heard his mother in the kitchen and his father sharpening swords in his office. He opened his wardrobe and looked into it, a few clothes hanging on the rail as most piled on the floor.

**********
Honmalon quickly dispelled the two attacking clones and shot a look at Kakashi.

“Hmmm!!! You guys are good. To think that my favourite weapon was easily destroyed.”

After a blurry movement of hands, Honmalon made lightning appear on his left hand. Then by placing his right hand to the left, he began to fire off series of lightning bolts at them. The shots shattered the last two clones and were aiming for Kakashi and Naruto.

The two tigers emerged from the bushes just it time and created a barrier by using a combined jutsu in front of Naruto and Kakashi.

“Hokori-kun, better think of some thing fast, my Chakra’s almost exhausted!’ Kenshi cried.

“Zeya, do you think I can trust you to do that this time?”

Zeya nodded her head and said she was ready. Hokori signaled to Kakashi and he made a stone barrier around them as soon as the Tigers both disappeared. After a brief discussion, as the barrier slowly broke down, their plan was set.

Takuya intertwined his fingers and Sakura stepped on them as he flung her upwards. Honmalon watched as she flew towards him, right fist clenched and aimed at him.

“S-H-A-A-N-N-A-A-A-R-O-O-O-O!!!!” She cried as her fist made contact with the ground, sending Honmalon soaring backwards.

Takuya, using the body flicker technique, appeared behind Honmalon and delivered an advanced Konoha senpou, hurling Honmalon forward again.

Landing a few feet from Zeya, Honmalon grabbed at his blade on the floor and stood to defend himself; he wasn’t a man to fend of so many assaults at once.

Suddenly, Naruto darted forward with a Rasengan from Honmalon’s right. Honmalon turned and noticed Kakashi advancing from his left, also holding a Rasengan.

This should work to my advantage, even though I’ll regret it! He said as he released his 1st gate and evaded the two attacks, causing them to coillde.
Naruto smiled as he and Kakashi’s rasengan collided. Just the way he planned it.

“Combined Jutsu: Dual rasengan effect!” Both he and Kakashi cried as the chakra masses on each hand exploded and released a shock wave in all directions.

Honmalon lost his balnce as he was flung towards Zeya. Zeya made a hand seal and a large wooden head appeared and swallowed Honmalon.

“Kai!” She cried and instantly, Honmalon’s chakra burst out through holes at the sides of the wooden drum’s head, rendering him useless.

“We did it!” Hokori cried as she ran and hugged Kakashi, causing everyone to stop and stare at two of them. After a short while, she bolted back from Kakashi and regained her composure.

“Well, what are you all looking at?” She snapped. “Let’s head back home.”

Suddenly, Koushiro stood up and began to struggle with the bind around him. After a loud buzzing, the chakra mass suddenly burst into lightning and electrocuted him to death, leaving the air smelling of burnt meat.

“I warned him, didn’t I?” she said in a matter-of-fact way.

Honmalon began to laugh out loud as they began dragging off the drum containing him. He looked through the hole on its side at the rocks across the lake they were fighting by.

Two figures stood in the distance; waiting for him… they were going to be disappointed.
*********

A hawk flew down towards the two figures that stood watching the fight from a distance. One of them stretched out his hand and the bird alighted on it. After a few moments, the bird flew off again.

“Let’s go. He’s not coming. They caught him before he could make.” He said to his white haired companion.

“Oi, Juugo! Remind me again why we are doing this?” Suigetsu asked.

He adjusted the belt strap that held a blue scroll on his back. Around the edges of the scroll were green bands with the kanji for ‘water’ written on them. Him belt strap had a fore head protector tucked into it with the hidden mist sign inscribed on it.

“It’s because Sasuke is manipulative.” He said. “Or maybe, you’re too easy to fool!”

Suigetsu frowned and looked at Juugo. “Sasuke might be deceiving me. But joining forces with him brings me closer to the last sword that’s still with that 8 tails weirdo. Besides, why are you still following his orders?”

Juugo stopped in his tracks and turned and looked at Suigetsu. He smiled calmly and said.

“Because of you. I thought I needed Sasuke’s killer intent or Sharingan to calm me down, but what I really needed was a goal. I still don’t have one, but you do. That’s as good as my own goal. If hanging around you stops me from going berserk, then fine! I’ll follow you wherever you go.”

Suigetsu closed his eyes and chuckled to himself. After Sasuke abandoned them, Juugo had helped him find a way out. They ran into the Mizukage and Chojura and even helped them battle black zetsu. Then he had gone to the battle field and encountered his brother, who had given him the scroll of the seven rivers.

Now with this scroll he could carry about all the swords without worrying about its weight. So far, he took back Zabuza’s own from Kakashi and also succeeded in obtaining the rest, except the one with Killer Bee. The one with Chojuro belonged to Chojuro, he was a member so he decided to leave him with it and promised to return and together restore the glory of the seven shinobi swordsmen.

And all this while, Juugo had not once gone mad. That was nice. Juugo was like a brother to him now, following every where he went.

“Okay, Juugo. Let’s report back that out contact was captured.”

And that being said, both of them took off into the forest.

**********

“That was some amazing move Kakashi-kun!” Hokori teased as they stopped at a rendezvous point.

“Oh, That!? Hehe… It was Naruto’s idea; a jutsu be and Konohamura formed while training.” Kakashi replied.

Hokori chuckled and looked around a bit. She frowned and inquired over Tatsu’s absence. Takuya quickly explained what had happened and she dismissed it, promising to get even with Tatsu back in Konoha.

Suddenly, six ninjas appeared wearing masks with only a thin slit running across the front and green markings all around the face of the mask. Tanigakure’s prison nin ( Tani’s ANBU.)

“I see you have subdued the prisoners, Sharingan no Kakashi.” Remarked their leader. Signaling to the others to take in the prisoners, he turned and examined the shinobi’s standing in front of him.

Sai had recovered up to an extent, but couldn’t stand for long. He sat under a tree and mumbled ‘reasons why there was war’ from a book he previously read.

As they moved Honmalon from the sealing drum to another restrainer, he turned and called out to Naruto.

“Oi, Jinchuuriki! Uzimaki Naruto, eh? Hehehe! I would remember you!”

As they were about to place him in a new container, a piece of paper dropped on the floor. Kakashi bent and picked it up and after reading it his eyes widened.

He grabbed Honmalon and asked him. “Who exactly sent you? Answer me!”

But Honmalon just smiled and stuck out his tongue. On it was a small kanji meaning ‘seal’. After talking to Naruto he had placed a seal on his tongue to prevent them from getting information from him.

Kakashi let go of him as the Tani prison nins took him and Takenoushi and left. Kakashi turned toward his six companions and smiled.

“Let’s go home, shall we?”

**********

Konoha’s main gate was just in sight as the group arrived. Naruto walked behind and kept looking up at the sun, calculating the time. Hokori turns slightly and watched him with keen eyes before stopping suddenly.

Naruto looked forward and just nearly missed running into Hokori, who had stopped and turned to face him. She looked into his face as though there were answers written on them.

“Oi, Hokori-sensei, wha-what’s wrong?” Naruto stammered.

“You blacked out. You didn’t even sense me standing in front of you. What are you thinking of? Honmalon?”

Naruto was caught off guard. He didn’t notice she had been watching him for a while.

“Naruto always zones out before he reaches Konoha. Then after that, he takes off and no one sees him till late.” Sakura said, sticking out her tongue as Naruto made a face at her.

“Oh, are you seeing some one?” Hokori asked.

“Who? Me? Hehe… No, I’m not seeing some one it’s just… I gotta go!”

Suddenly, he bolted off as soon as they entered Konoha.

Kakashi looked back and smiled at Hokori. “Happens every time!”

***********

A black haired shinobi stood as breeze blew across the courtyard he was standing in. To his left stood a Kunoichi almost his height, his junior by one year and to his right stood her younger sister.

The two girls activated their Byakugans and charged forward at different paces toward him. Moving quickly, Hinata arrived first and struck at Neji, which he easily avoided, tripped her foot and flung her down.

Hanabi arrived next and aimed a gentle fist at his back. He jerked forward a bit, regained his posture and spun around and delivered a hard slap to her face, sending her rolling.

“Hmmm! Pathetic! You call those attack moves? Quit doll playing and fight like Hyuugas.” With them still close by, he performed the Hyuuga’s rotation technique and flung them both backwards in the same direction.

“Ouch, that’s gonna hurt” Came a female voice.

Hinata got up and held Hanabi’s hand. Thinking quickly, Hinata spun round in a rotation style movement and sent Hanabi hurling towards Neji, both palms stretched outwards. Neji bent backwards as Hanabi flew above him.

Suddenly, before passing over him, Hanabi delivered a Jyukken straight down on Neji’s chest. Neji collapsed and she landed across his head.

“Very good, Hanabi-sama. Soaring Jyukken. I’m impressed.” Came Neji’s voice form behind her. “But, replacement Jutsus will still counter them.”

“Damn! Neji-san is truly awesome.” Rock Lee said, sitting on a fence next to Tenten.

Neji motioned to Hinata and Hanabi. “Now, the next lesson is the rotating bell. To learn this technique, you have to learn how to defeat it, its weak points and vulnerabilities.”

With that, he took a new stance and began to spin extremely fast. After a while, he stopped back in the same stance as the chakra shield around him still moved round and round. Slowly, it took on the shape of a rotating bell.
“Begin!” He ordered.

Hinata darted forward.
“Jyukken.” Upon contact, she was deflected back. Hanabi rushed forward and tried from behind, she too was deflected back. She signaled to Hinata and stood by one end as her sister stood by the other.

“Double rotation? Don’t push your luck, girls.”

Without heeding his warning, both girls performed a rotation. The chakra energy began to fuse from one hemisphere to the other until Neji’s jutsu was already engulfed in a large rotating shield of chakra.

“Eight Trigrams! Shattered bells!” Neji cried as chakra fists shot out of both sides of the bell and hit both girls backwards.

“The rotating bell is an advanced version of the rotation technique. By combining the laws for both 64 palms and rotation, the rotating bell is born. A superior attack and defense technique.”

Hinata regained her feet and ran over to her sister. Hanabi stood up and nodded their next move to Hinata. Standing back to back, both girls created a vacuum like void in front of them and began delivering series of hits to it, resulting in more powerful hits catapulting towards Neji’s bell.

Neji’s bell began to receive serious damage from the attacks. Neji cupped both palms in front of him, gathered chakra on them and released a powerful shot of chakra. The chakra shot out and took the form of a lion head and struck against the void created by both girls, hurling them backwards.

“Neji-niisan! Why do we have to learn to stop the attack instead of using it?” Hanabi asked as soon as she stood up.

Neji signed. Clasping both palms together, he dispelled the rotating bell surrounding him and looked at his cousins. Hinata stood up and looked around and noticed her guardian standing by the end of the courtyard; Naruto’s team was back!

“It’s because, Hanabi-sama, if you don’t know the weakness of your own jutsu, then you can never truly master it! If you were to face a powerful foe that specializes in dragging out a fight and analyzing your abilities, what would you do if he understands the basics of your jutsu? Or how to counter it?”

Hinata suddenly excused herself and hurried out of the premises, leaving Neji and Hanabi alone to train. Hanabi turned towards Neji with a sinister grin on her face. Neji glared at her.

“Don’t even think about it! Training’s over!! Now!!!” And with that he stormed off into his apartment.

Tenten looked up. “Well that was random. I wonder where Hinata went off to.”

Hanabi stood there pouting when she noticed the two of them still sitting on the fence and her face lit up. She ran over to them and confronted Lee.

“Lee-san! Would you please train with me?” She pleaded, putting on a puppy dog face.

Lee looked down, and then closed his eyes. Yes time to prove my youthful strength once more against a Hyuuga! Feel my youthful energy… Guy-sensei!

“Sure, let’s get to it!”

Lee jumped down and took off his Konoha jacket and handed it over to Tenten.
Hanabi grinned and took a stance as Lee placed a hand behind himself and the other aimed at her in a ‘come hither’ way.

“Byakugan!”

“Hiyaaaa!!!”
********
Naruto stood at the edge of a river and looked about. He was supposed to meet Hinata here after his mission. Where is she, dammit!
He sat down and began to think about Honmalon. From what he heard, Tani had a very dangerous high security prison. Whatever prompted him to break out must have been important. Information ninja, eh? He had only heard about those from other ninjas in Konoha. He-.

Suddenly, he noticed some one standing across from the river. He watched carefully as the stranger began to slowly try and cross the river. From the way he moved, he was probably an old hermit trying to cross over.

Naruto ran across the water to his side and offered to help him across the river; the old man agreed. Taking the man on his back, Naruto began to walk across the river carefully; being the first time he had carried someone while using chakra to walk.

The old man looked up. “Oh my, you’re a shinobi, aren’t you?”

Naruto reached the other side, dropped the man and turned to answer him. “Yes I am.”

“Then I shall reward you, for helping an old man such as myself.” Reaching into his cloak, the old man took out a box and handed it over to Naruto.
“May its contents guide you in life, my young Shinobi.”

Naruto took the box and looked at it. He turned it over and examined it shortly before looking up to thank the old man; there was no one there. He looked around and tried to sense any presence around him; nothing.

“Naruto-kun!” Hinata called, having just arrived in the forest. She ran over to him as he looked up to the sky. “What’s that? A gift?”

Naruto turned and told her what had just happened. She became curious about its contents and began coaxing him to open it. He refused. Quickly, she snatched it and attempted to open it. He caught her hand and they began to struggle over it a bit.

It slipped out and crashed onto the floor and some papers poured out across the grass. A few scrolls rolled out and one bounce towards the river. Both Hinata and Naruto saw it and dived for it. Naruto reached it first, Hinata grabbed underneath it and pulled, loosening the scroll.

Both Hinata and Naruto lay down and looked at the scroll which seemed to contain what looked like a jutsu. At the end was written the name… Namikaze Minato.

“Na-Naruto! Who did you say gave you this box?” Hinata asked, sitting up.
Naruto got up and picked up the scroll and looked through it. “An old man I helped.”

Clearly written at the end of the scroll was his father’s name; there was no doubt about that. A few weeks ago he had told Hinata about his parents and she had promised to keep it a secret. Now here he was holding a scroll written by his father.

“Dance of the crescent moon.” Hinata read as she stood behind him. Now she began to regret why she was so stubborn about opening it; seeing the scroll had caught them both off guard. She bent down a picked up a few papers and glanced through them.

“Naruto-kun, did you ever hear of an Aunt named Ayane?” She asked, realizing how stupid it sounded only after she said.

Naruto just shook his head and continued to stare at the scroll. Hinata came up from behind and hugged him.

“Don’t worry, we’ll take it to Hokage-sama. She’ll know what to do.” She whispered, trying to comfort him.

“No.” Naruto turned and looked her in the eyes. “I’ll go myself. Besides, this isn’t what brought me here.”

She blushed.

:pwease:

I've finished up to 9, so I'll be releasing them soon enough!
