Background Info.
History: Jeff, is not his real name he doesn't know his actual name, it is a name he goes by to protect himself. For he is the only survivor (that he knows of) from a special clan that can use Ice Release techniques. He only knows this from his father, his father only said it once but Jeff remembered it distinctly. At the time, jeff was only a wee lil lad and his parents were fleeing the hidden water village where his clan was being ostracized and murdered. He was too young to know what was happening or why his mother was crying or why they were running. Jeff's mother was injured on the way. Jeff can't remeber his mother now, only his father crying. His father alone took him to an orphanage in the hidden Tea country where they left him in the belief he would be safe. he did not tell him where they were going, only that one day Jeff should not look for him when he grows up. His father also told him "You have a rare heritage, and because of it people will hate you so do not tell them. I want you to grow up and learn how to use the hyoton and revie our clan when this madness ends" Jeff kept his mouth shut, being somewhat isolated from the other orphans because he didn't talk to any of them determined to keep his promise to his father. The orphanage was not well taken care of and many of the caretakers there abused the children. Jeff was sitting alone one night in the orphanage one of the caretakers came in drunk. Jeff tried to ignore him for this was normal, but he couldnt for before he knew it Jeff was getting beat on and insulted by the caretaker. Jeff couldnt do anything he was helpless in his state for he was still only a boy. and seddenly jeff cried out and the room ebcame covered in ice, everything including the caretaker. Jeff was afraid this would reveal his secret so he ran away from the orphanage and never looked back. One day, while desperate for food, he broke into a house for he was nearly dead from starvation. Jeff had done this before because it was his only way of getting food and surviving. The house had belonged to an elderly man also an ex-jounin. He caught Jeff, but he was not angry, instead he took pity on Jeff and gave him a place to live and stay. They became close friends Jeff felt he was safe to tell anything he wanted to the old man he now called Koori. He told Koori everything of his past and his promise to his father. Koori was touched by Jeff's story and told him "well if your going to do that your going to need toknow how to fight with ninjutsu." Jeff was pleased and learned as much as he could. But Koori was old and did not have much time left. He handed Jeff a box and told him to only open it when he had sucsessfully learned how to use his KG and to always remember him. Koori passed away a few days later leaving Jeff on his own. Jeff was deeply inspired by Koori and decided to adopt Koori's name as his own for they were like family. after that it was time to go learn about his roots and heritage and is now searching the country for any information he can learn about the Hyoton users, and learn all the techniques he can.
