Yes i know how to speak it fluently i studied it back in school and i mostly watch anime in japanese. I've also been to Japan 3 times so it's definitely come in handy.

Well, I know a little and my older sister who took Japanese in High School and went to Japan (Lucky) knows Japanese pretty well...

The closest I've ever been to Japan was in Seattle. Or maybe the "Art of the Samurai" Arms and Armor exhibit in the Met.

Seattle wasn't very cool, but the exhibit in NY was. Samurai armor with crab, bat, butterfly, and other interesting themes. The swords were gorgeous as well.

My purpose was to see if any of the people here who were engrossed in Japanese pop culture were natives.
