You're gonna see some flashbacks either way, it's a given (hell, I think the manga had some). The first VOTE fight had some and I didn't really see anyone complain bout it...

if you're talking about the Itachi stuff that was canon. Regardless, people should be ready. Filler makes Naruto a lot of money in Japan.

Considering how they extended the part 1 fight I'm pretty sure they'll extend this one too.
