1. Please review Deidara Vs Sauske. Deidara almost ALWAYS uses a Clay clone. therefore even if they "hit" him before he could detonate, it would just be clay and c4 would stilld detonate. (in a very wide radius.)

2. Sm grants "ability to sense danger" and that was said in the fight vrs raikage where he dodged and hit. It had NOTHING to do with seeing chakara. That is complete nonsense and i would ask to show manga facts proving SM can sense chakara without touching it. Also, he has barrier but remember, he can only sense the position of whats inside. Deidara's c4 exceeds that barrier size. Not only would the entire barrier be filled but also the outside would be too.

3. Swamp would do nothing. It would stop the mobility (which isn't needed) and it would simply explode. the time it would take for Jiryia to activate the technique it would be exploded, or if he did it as it was dropping deidara would just explode it right before it hits ground.

4. Proof of fire detonating his clay please.

5. The only thing of validity here is Jiryia escaping in the gourd, but I can only remember it being used to move after he killed one Pain. I don't really know how fast that could be used. So that is the only potiental thing he could use to escape.
however, that is contigent on him knowing what the bomb did. Why would he run away, when his hair could protect him. (he dose just think its an explosion.) Also, the clone c4, has no counter.

SM can sense Chakra because that's how Naruto found Pain easily after the fight was over.

how do you know he doesn't... the ability isn't said to be just for Naruto's SM

the only drawback of imperfect sage mode is more frog-like traits and he needs help doing it

I still don't understand how jiryia escapes from c4. Sauske did it by genjutsu and lighting techniques. Running away wouldn't work in such a small period of time.

He can sense danger, so if the bombs are sent at him, he will sense it and avoid them... not out of context at all

and even though it is the only time it is mentioned, it can still be applied to any situation in which someone is using sage mode

never was it said imperfect sage can't sense. USing Ma proves nothing as she didn't sense the chameleon's chakra she tracked it by smell, does that mean she can't sense chakra?

Sensing is a perk of senjutsu.... imperfect or not you have it, imperfect doesn't mean the sage mode is lacking any abilities, it is just uglier and needs help in attaining it

The reason Jiraiya even needs Ma and Pa is because he doesn't have an absurd amount of chakra like Naruto and needs help gathering natural energy

Enough with these Deidara-fanboys. Stop complaining and asking about the fact that fire detonates Deidara's explosive clay. Comments like:

Simply put let's see, the clay needs to be detonated right? It has to be triggered to explode, the explosion itself, obviously, being heat and shockwave.
So there are 3 scenario's here.
a) Jiraiya uses his fire-jutsu and clearing the field and stars using Deidara like a doormat.
b) Jiraiya uses his fire-jutsu and it's not powerfull enough.
c) Jiraiya uses his fire-jutsu it's powerfull enough but the c4 won't detonate?

As far as I know whatever you put in a flame will incinerate.
In this case Jiraiya having the bigger chakra reserve and in my eyes high grade fire-jutsu's, it would be rather weird if Deidara's explosives would be 'strong enough' to outlast Jiraiya's fire techniques.

Sauske got trapped, and used lighting on himself

he didn't lightning himself for the first C4, he simply got out of range, it was the second c4 bombs that were already inside him that he had to lightning himself.

deidara has the flying advantage yes but he can summon toads which can put him back to the same height or they could jump and make it higher and the toads can make a good distraction for jiraiya as he enters sage mode and when he goes sage mode thats it for deidara

You do realize his clay is Earth element right?
and he uses blast element on the clay right? so no heat dose not explode them.
Lastly, it really dose bother me to have to repeat myself, but i shall. Jiryia cannot counter nanobombs. No matter what. I have explained before why this is the case. I do not disagree that fire could counter a big bomb, or even his little spiders or birds. But he cannot evade nanobombs. Simply too many of them
