Alright everyone, now it's no secret that I think Izou is super badass. I hate how he went out though (**** Akame), but since I have to wait another month before Lord Izou gets back up to feed Kousetsu, I began reading Akame Ga Kill Zero.

Now, looking past the massive amounts of fanservice (which I quite enjoy) something appeared to me, and I started making connections.

Izou is a former Tengu mercenary, and his daughter is Taeko.

"But Espadara!" You cry, ignorant of Lord Izou's brilliance. "That's impossible! Izou was just a jobber who gave nothing to the plot!"

Lubbock thinks otherwise.

Now, the Tengu mercenaries are a group of warriors that Chelsea's former team teamed up with in order to kill the Elite 4 7. They look like this:

See the nipple symbol? It looks very similar to the symbol on Izou's kimono, as shown here:

Not only that, but their back symbol is similar too:

Considering the Tengu mercenaries had been hired to kill the Elite Seven, and we only see a small group of them, we can conclude that they were strong enough to have quite the reputation. Even a powerful Assassin like Barbara knew who they were just by sight, and didn't seem to mad at having to work with them, also showing they must have some experience.

Now for proving Izou had intercourse and Taeko is his daughter.

Here is Taeko, along with her considerable killing intent, when she's not even trying.

Here is Izou, when he's boasting about Kousetsu's beauty (Sorry for it being chinese, no official english yet).

Here is a display of Izou's sword skills:

And here is Taeko's:

Barbara mentioned that Taeko is not related by blood to the Oreburgs. So, this means she was found and adopted. Now, Izou looks to be in his thirties, and would've been in his early twenties around the time Taeko was found by the Oreburgs when she was a child. But, if we go off of the earlier Tengu mercenary theory, than one idea stands out;

What if, in Kousetsu's thirst for blood Izou fought the Oreburgs? This would've definitely convinced Barbara of the Tengu mercenaries strength, and Izou may have chosen to leave his only daughter in the hands of such worthy opponents as he traveled to world with his beloved Kousetsu.

Just a theory I thought I'd share.

Well possible i think Izou is not interested in womens so i dont think its really his daughter and well i think Izou loves his Katana more than anything so its not really possible for him to have a wife or something like but this theory is interesting

By the way i read the title of Chapter 58 it means Kill the Skilled and i think Izou meant by this so its possible for him to return next chapter but i wonder what ability he must have to survive Murasame

Well, he could have gained Kousetsu after he had Taeko. Another theory I had which is 100% fanon is that Kousetsu was the sword which belonged to his wife, Kousetsu, but after she passed he took the blade and considered her to still be alive within it.

And I don't think Izou has a real ability to survive Murasame. He might just get up because who else is going to feed his beloved?

Well yeah thats true that theory is good but i think Izou is more like the bloodthirsty kind like Esdeath I believe that it is in Izous nature to be like that but i still think he is more like obsessive to kousetsu the Katana i mean he called Akames Murasame elegant and beautiful meaning he has a great love for swords so i think he loves kousetsu because of the swords form
in fact he finds swords attractive thats what my opinion is

But anyway your theory is good but i do not think it will be like that but who knows

I dont think willpower help against Murasame yeah Izou is my absolute favorite but i still must say that there exist other characters with a great will too and they didnt stand up

Also Akame cut him two times

Even how sad it is for me i think Izou wont come back but i would be happy if he comes back and has a real battle against Akame

Izou and Budo i have hopes for them to come back but i guess Takahiro will troll me again....damm him
