Izanami was just lazy

Kishi did NOT mess up.

There are different forms of Izanagi.
Danzo used an incomplete form for example, as said by Tobi.
The one that the Uchiha's used in the past, could be even more incomplete (lacking Senju DNA).
The sage used the highest form of Izanagi, called Creation of all things.

I just think Izanami was pulled out of nowhere because Kishi made Kabuto too ridiculous to be beaten by known techs.

And I honestly don't think there was ever a time when there were multiple people with senju/uchiha dna at the same time. That much of the SO6P power isn't that cheap no matter how far back you go. In fact we know that power originates in the Sage and was split between his two sons. So unless you think that anyone between the sage and Madara had this power you are wrong...

Before Madara and Hashirama though, uchihas existed and senjus existed in this time frame where endless battle continued.
Uchiha would take advantage and gather their enimeies dna to gain power, this Izanami created to stop it

Then Madaras time, such a thing ceased to exist and Madara would become to be the only Izanagi user left as the rest of the Uchihas made a treaty with konoha and would not abuse senju DNA anymore.

Of course obito would later be known to use it too thanks to Madara.
Oh and that Obito vs. Konan explanation, that's coming from Madara as he had all that knowledge and knew a lot of secrets

It's not izanami, but more along the lines of how he explained it. It seems pretty implausible that there were ever multiple izanagi users is my point.

True. I generally agree with your point aside from the difficulty of them knowing to obtain it and obtaining senju dna. BUT you have thought of the most plausible explanation so I can't really argue much more with it.

Why do you feel it was a difficult.task for uchihas to know about senju DNA?

You have to remember the elder son believed in power to peace and thus some uchihas also believed in power. Uchihas are not dumb, they know uchiha + senju = so6p power, for that is their origin and history of non stop battle.

They will target their enemies for their own power, because thats what they believe.

Of course there are some uchihas that do not think power is the way to peace such as itachi, etc, and thus is how izanami was created for it was "true power" to stop their own brothermen to find themselves, rather than be greeded with power

yeah it's stupid. you basically sacrifice an eye to stop someone else from messing around with reality for 5 minutes... what's up with that. besides the fact that izanami would only work on kabuto, and the fact that izanagi needs senju dna but izanami does not, izanagi has a time limit izanami does not... meh. it's the biggest asspull kishi's pulled off in a battle

And I love how Itachi uses it as a metaphor for people not being perfect and balance each other out

Don't know if this is a plot hole but before Obito was saying such a technique was limited to Senju/Uchiha DNA, Ibuki says the Rinnegan lets you any technique.
