So I was commenting on someone else's thread an encountered an odd misconception... Someone was arguing with me that Izanagi doesn't require senjure dna because of what Itachi said about Izanami being used to punish Izanagi users.. but then there's this...

So I feel like there never was a time like Itachi describes in the scan below and that Kishi was just being lazy and didn't know how Itachi could defeat Kabuto with all his powerups...

Lol one of my threads is literally named " The genius of Kishi"... I love Kishi on the whole, but I'm a straight shooter and izanami was not his best work...

Kishi knew exactly how strong he was making Kabuto, he wouldnt of given Kabuto all that power

I just think Izanami was pulled out of nowhere because Kishi made Kabuto too ridiculous to be beaten by known techs.

And I honestly don't think there was ever a time when there were multiple people with senju/uchiha dna at the same time. That much of the SO6P power isn't that cheap no matter how far back you go. In fact we know that power originates in the Sage and was split between his two sons. So unless you think that anyone between the sage and Madara had this power you are wrong...

Anyways if to use Izanagi you need the power of the Uchiha and Senju then how could the Uchiha have used Izanagi when they didn't have Senju DNA in themselves. And if they couldn't use Izanagi than that means the usage of Izanami to stop infighting of Izanagi users never happened.

Check out my scans i posted images to. Obito says izanagi requires senju dna + uchiha dna, which would limit izanagi users to him, Madara, SO6P, and Danzo.

When Itachi explains Izanami he says that it was created to punish Izanagi users when they could not agree which result should result from the change Inzanagi makes in reality. However it does not make sense that there would ever be a time when there would be the problem of multiple izanagi users which would require izanami to be created.

So I think it's lazy because it popped up out of the plot from no where and seems to contradict what we had already established about izanagi in the explanation of inzanami.

I don't think so but maybe. At the same time I believe it is in reference to a time where senju existed..so dna snatching probably happened on both sides. Senjus who wanted the power of uchiha.. And uchiha who wanted the power of senju

Who ever did have izanagi probably had extra pairs of eyes from dead uchiha...transplanting was very common in madara days. Even now with people stealing each other eyes

Izanami is the perfect creation to counter such a beast mode tech. Without it..there's no beating an efficient izanagi user

maybe the izanagi obito explained that the sage used was different than the one itachi was talking about
the eyes look different that was a regular uchiha 3-tomoe sharingan eye glowing while the one shown by the sage has the juubi's eye
