I've Never Seen Anything Like It

SO as we all know Kishi rewrote his Manga in 681. I've been trying to figure out how i feel about that but I honestly don't know how i feel. I only know 2 things, 1. Despite the retcon it was a great chapter
2. I've never seen anything like this before.


So my question is, how does the base feel about 681 and have you every seen a retcon of this magnitude in a single chapter before. I sure as hell haven't.

Its not a retcon, its a enormous plot twist.

As for how I feel about it, I think it was okay done but I would have like to have a bit more foreshadowing and it was a big time game changer.

But that is the nature of a plot twist, it wouldn't be exciting if it wasn't a game changer.

yep. we all speculated it was izanagi how madara survived. even at the time hashirama could feel someone else was there when he killed madara. everything was foreshadowed in my opinion. the dots can clearly be connected.

I don't know if you know what recton means. Nothing was changed, we just had missing pieces filled in. A retcon is a complete change in the story due to reasons only known to the author.
