But that pocket dimension was still within the main Dimension and located inside of the moon, that Hagoromo and Hamura created

Guys, it is easy. Kaguya asked Turles and his crew if they are willing to pick up a hitchhiker. I mean the space-guys were looking for god-trees and -fruits too

They still traveled through a different dimension to get to the moon. It just shows that the Otsutsuki had dimensional travel. They probably came from a different planet using similar technology, and dimensions are actually just different planets rather than different space times, at least that would make more sense to me.

No Turles was the one to plant the trees, but Momoshiki was looking for planets where trees already existed. They did not plant the trees the trees are created from lakes of blood created in war.
